REMARKS

DATE OF SUB.

• The site has only three entry as per the site area and perimeters of the site, • Complex is located on the edge of the road which is not good for the athlete's and students who participate in create and craft activities, as the road is very busy and it acts as a great distraction to the students. • Less areas are used in landscape due to this the site may become noisy in rush hours. Noise pollution can also be a problem due to less number of trees on the buffer area on the site. It gives unpleasant sound of traffic to all the blocks which is not suitable for the school block as well as complex block WHAT WE DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT THE SITE SUMBITTED BY: NAME: ANSHUL TYAGI PRANJAL KHANNA TANUJ CHATURVEDI VISHAL GUPTA YEAR/SEC: THIRDYEAR SECTION ‘B’

WHAT WE LIKED ABOUT THE SITE

• Site has total 7 entries, all from the velodrome road around it. • A fire fighting hose has been provided in about every 20m

• Car parking is segregated and distributed throughout the site

• Ramps are provided in every major block making it wheelchair friendly.

WHAT WE DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT THE SITE

• The major problem with the site is navigation. No key plan is provided on the site and thus, even the signages make it hard to navigate through the site

• The seating in the stadiums is fixed and is very uncomfortable. Seating standards are not followed while installation of seats.

• Main attraction, the indoor arena, is placed in the middle of the site with access from every side. • In a lot of places, a separate path for pedestrians is missing resulting in a common path for vehicle's and pedestrians. Even though these roads are wide, it does create a certain level of risk due to the a absence of speed brakers.

• Alleys below the seating are provided, connecting different exits for participants to move without disrupting the view. • Every block has spectator entry from the first floor whereas ground floor has separate entries for participants, broadcasters, vip, ambulance and medics. • The structure is self sustaining.

• Some ramps are very steep and feel uneasy to walk on like the one present in the cycling academy block..

• At the entry of cycling block, cheap quality swimming pool tiles are used for reception façade which look cheap and ugly.
