ABOUT THE STYLIST
Hi! I am Prashanth Saravanan, a fashion communication amateur and an aspiring photographer. I have realized how important it is to be open and versatile in order to learn and explore as much as possible. Fashion styling has always been an interesting area for exploration as it involves a lot of thought and creativity.
I put all my heart into visual expressionism and strive to create fresh content. I believe that the simplest things provide the biggest inspirations. While styling is something we all do naturally, I tend to put in emotions and personalize it. All I hope my art say is this person lives and was here.

Styling is a way of expressing an inner truth or belief about an idea, oneself or the world through the medium of clothing. My styling philosophy is happiness. Colours are everything to me. Playing with colours in the all ways possible and acheiving the style statement is the key.
My goal has always been to help people put their best foot forward. To help people look their best, in an effort to feel their best, and ultimately, be their best. Style is not about labels or price tags it’s about bringing your personality and your ambitions to the forefront.

Celebrity Styling Considering two celebrities - Indian and international and creating look-boards based on their lifestyle and personal character. Movie & TV show styling Exploring various styling options for the characters in the JD Film. Understanding the script and the requirements of particular characters then styling them. Flat-lay Styling A flat is basically when you're shooting items from directly above. Usually those items will be arranged or styled on a flat surface. Exploring the different flat-lay styling methods and clicking pictures. Fashion show styling Designer's input executed in the ramp. Styling based on theme, location and time of the event. PERSONAL STYLING One-one styling session with the client
CLIENT'S INFORMATION My client's name is Shradha B>K, a fashion student. Her lifestyle is simple student life with little extravagance on the weekend.
WHEN? WHERE? My client's routine is pretty casual. Movies, shopping in the weekends and college in weekdays. With festivals and occasions often casual, ethnic and formal-wear all comes in handy for her lifestylw.
HOW'S THE STYLE! Considering the likes and dislikes of the client look-boards are created from her wardrobe. Her brand-preference, colors, fabrics, personality, budget all are taken in account and a styling suggestion is made.
BODY TYPE A triangular body shape is found to be the client's body shape. Narrow shoulders, wider hips and thighs. Short in height and short legs . Straight upper body lines, curved lower body lines. Appears bottom heavy. The illusion of ideal figure could be created by minimizing lower torso and emphasizing upper torso. Fill out shoulders and upper torso with soft fullness and design detail. Smooth loose fit above the waist.
FACE SHAPE The client's face shape is identified to be square. The hair is used to add height and cover temples. Leading the attention downwards by using necklace, open collars and U or V shaped collars. Oval and aviator glasses will help in acheiving the illusion of ideal face.

She is the first Indian to break into the top 10 in the PSA Women's rankings.Dipika Pallikal came to prominence in 2011, when she won three WISPA tour titles to attain a career-best ranking of 13th. A wardrobe stylist normally gets the look and feel of the clothing needed for the film they are working on and go out to buy outfits for each actor. On set, wardrobe stylists are responsible for making the outfit look its best for the movie.
ABOUT THE MOVIE! Movie - Fashion promo video for JD Institute of Fashion Technology Design is the courage of your own imagination video is a promotional video for JD Institute of Fashion Technology. The video is scripted in a way that the protogonist walks through the life of various students belonging to different fields of interest. The treatment of the movie is in black and white making the style elements as the point of interest. The characters in the video are very organic and each of them have a certain image to carry on. The emphasis is mainly on the character Maya. Totally the script has 20 characters each different from one other making it a challenge for the stylist. The characters of the photographer played by Khalid and that of Interior designer 3 played by Harry are taken and look boards are created for those characters.
