DEEP SUMMER Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism. It is a form of chemiluminescence. Bioluminescence occurs widely in marine vertebrates and invertebrates, as well as in some fungi, microorganisms including some bioluminescent bacteria and terrestrial invertebrates. This dark, bright and surreal theme for high summer explores the depths of the sea as well as the farthest reaches of space, taking inspiration from their mysterious inhabitants. Materials and forms evoke bio-mimicry and strange alien creatures, while iridescent surfaces play with light, as if filtered through deep waters or a glass aquarium. Fuelled by night-time festivals and poolside raves, this luminescent story exudes otherworldly elements combining fluid designs, iridescent sheen and surf-inspired details. Elegant high-summer styling traverses day to night, with a new take on modern resort that balances opulent luxury with sharp lines. Classic items are revived with otherworldly decoration and offset with a palette of murky mid-tones and darks.

Sub Story: Tropical Keys Early morning sunshine, lush greenery and bright citrus shades provide the energy for this fresh take on resort and vacation styling. Craft Cluster

We went for our craft cluster to Channapatna which is also called the land of toys. The city is famous for its wooden toys and lacquer ware. These toys are manufactured in traditional or advanced small scale industries. Product development for this project was based on the use of joineries. Also I had to use color combinations that represents the trend. Product category that I worked on: Home déco, which included bowls, coasters, lamps, mirror installation ,wall clock coasters etc.

Side table cum Stool

Exotic Dreams and inspiration carry with them dreams of luxurious voluptuousness whilst creating a high visual impact using flowing and richly worked patterns with a touch of femininity. Various ceramic style motifs in patchwork are inspired from Medieval designs or Persian patterns which show refinement and unity. Typical geometric floral Ottoman Tiles for arty fashionistas have a beautiful amalgamation of geometric patterns, floral designs and Moorish motifs which have a contemporary feel. The overall feel is bold yet relaxed.
