King-West area restaurant, serves up dishes as authentic as an island vacation. Chief cuisine officer Angela Lawrence says, “We won’t ‘dumb down’ the spice – but if you can handle it, it’s worth it.” For sensory pleasure of a different kind, Toronto painter Bev Rodin’s works are contemplative and extraordinary studies in light and colour. Her portraits of natural scenes appear to generate their own inner light, and reveal a fine artistic intellect at work. And often, fall is also a time when we realize the need for a change in our real estate requirements. That’s part of the reason why we at Cayman Marshall are so excited to focus our attention on our brand-new Toronto-based brokerage.

CAYMAN MARSHALL’S SUCCESS PROVES SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL By Chris Riddell

Cayman Marshall does things a little differently than most Canadian luxury real estate firms. The firm may be smaller than some others, but you can’t argue with its success: the brokerage has doubled its sales every year (which average more than $250 million annually), and recently surpassed the $1-billion total sales mark. Success like this has attracted the notice of the business world. Last December, Cayman Marshall earned the prestigious “Canada’s Best Real Estate Company” honour at the International Property Awards in Toronto, Ontario. And this year, the firm was ranked #251 on Canadian Business’s Growth 500 list, which highlights the fastest-growing companies in the country.

FALL 2018 17 ■

Not bad for the company that CEO and founder Todd Adair launched just six years ago. Adair likes to keep his brokerages small: Unlike some real estate behemoths that employ more than a hundred agents, Cayman Marshall’s office consists of just seven hand-picked agents, which translates to a level of attention and service unmatched by bigger firms.

CAYMAN MARSHALL’S CLOSE-KNIT TEAM OFFERS A LEVEL OF NIMBLENESS THAT CAN MAKE THE CRUCIAL DIFFERENCE IN A

HOT

MARKET.

“The big advantage [to our size] is communication, and teamwork. When you’re operating as a team, small units can adapt quickly and change quickly.”

– Todd Adair

Recently, Adair brought the firm’s winning philosophy to a new brokerage dedicated to the Toronto market, and is already reaping unprecedented results. As Adair explains, “The big advantage [to our size] is communication, and teamwork. When you’re operating as a team, small units can adapt quickly and change quickly.” Cayman Marshall’s close-knit team offers a level of nimbleness that can make the crucial difference in a hot market – where hesitation can mean either losing out altogether, or not getting the optimum price. Interestingly, Adair also only hires people who have no previous experience as real estate agents. He explains his philosophy this way: “They come with no prejudice of how things are supposed to be. We train them on how we do things, and not how the industry does them.” The lead agent at the helm of the new Toronto brokerage, Steve Haddock, is a perfect example. Steve is much more than just a top performer. He wasn’t

even a licensed realtor when he first started working for Cayman Marshall, but quickly realized that the firm and he were a perfect fit. “It’s a fantastic company to work for,” he says. “The group is pretty tight-knit. We work as a team, and have a team approach to things. Todd is our quarterback, and we’re all the receivers. We count on each other a lot. That’s quite different from most brokerages, where the agents are basically in competition with each other.” Another key factor in the company’s prowess are its two high-quality magazines, Toronto Collection and Muskoka Collection, distributed free of charge to pre-qualified upscale households. Both of these gorgeous publications offer beautiful photography, informative editorial content, and ads from reputable service providers, along with information on the latest luxury homes and cottages for sale valued at over $3 million, all presented with high-quality printing and paper stock. There’s a lot of value in these pages, whether you live in Muskoka or Toronto. The third key secret to Cayman Marshall’s remarkable success is its unique, proprietary lead-generation software. This comprehensive selling tool, which Adair himself helped design,

continually tests and fine-tunes incoming research, providing agents with a steady stream of potential leads. “It’s the secret ingredient that has put us on top,” he says. Steve Haddock has experienced first-hand the value of the software, in real time. “We’ve really captured market share because of the lead generation system,” he says. “You can just imagine: new agents will come into this space, and sometimes it takes years and years to get established. But with this software, almost instantly we’re all doing very well. After a very short period of time, some of us have already become top producers in the Muskoka market.” For sellers, even with the expert tools and skills of a brokerage like Cayman

Marshall behind you, finding the right buyer is a complex process. The properties that Cayman Marshall specializes in sell for an average of $2.2 million; these are big, beautiful homes, many of them on the waterfront. So presenting these properties to a range of qualified buyers, at the right time and in the right format,is critical. Cayman Marshall goes the extra mile to match great properties and great buyers. It continually updates and refines its high net worth subscriber list, providing potential buyers with a wealth of valuable information. Whenever an interested buyer visits one of the firm’s websites, or reads an ad in one of its magazines, they’re prompted to submit their contact info to the database for more information.

For buyers, “You leave your information behind on one of our websites,” Todd explains, “and it’s kind of like you get your own little Twitter feed. You instantly get a digital copy of our magazine, as well as the latest price changes, all our listings – before they go on MLS – and all our exclusive listings that aren’t on MLS.” If you’re looking for a luxury property in Muskoka or in Toronto, there’s really no better place to start your research. Whether you’re ready to make a move, or to move on – be it an elegant Toronto home or an idyllic Muskoka cottage – Cayman Marshall’s proven record has made it the top choice of discerning buyers and sellers alike.

TORONTO’S CHUBBY’S OFFERS FLAVOURS STRAIGHT FROM THE CARIBBEAN BY ALYSSA SCHWARTZ

IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR KITSCH, KEEP MOVING. There’s no Bob Marley blasting out of the speakers at Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen (during my visit, it’s The Roots and a mashup of Big Boi and Sly and the Family Stone); no black, green and yellow flags flying. Instead, stepping through the doors of the renovated threestorey 19th-century Victorian row house on Portland Street that’s home to Chubby’s, I find an Instagramgorgeous take on island chic: pale bamboo chairs and blond wood tables and accents; a palm tree mural, with gentle bends in the trees that evoke a sea breeze, beckoning guests to a secondary upstairs dining area; splashes of vivid colour – coral, aquamarine, the vivid greens of Jamaica’s lush rainforest – everywhere you look. But if the Jamaican flag is meant to represent the island’s golden sunshine, verdant agriculture and the strength and creativity of its people, then downtown’s newest Jamaican eatery may as well be draped in the emblem. From the slang – the appetizers on the menu

are called “likkle bites,” Jamaican Patois for “little” – to the ginger beer, steeped in-house till it’s the colour of limeade, to the fiery jerk, the latest outing from Toronto’s Gusto 54 group offers island flavours in a way that feels perfectly at home in the bustling entertainment district. It’s something of a departure for the Gusto 54 group, best known for Italian dining at Yorkville’s Café Nervosa and Gusto 101, just around the corner from Chubby’s (they also own the L.A. pasta restaurant Felix, which landed numerous best new restaurants in America lists when it opened in 2017, a second Gusto outpost and Thai go-tos Kiin and Pai, in partnership with Northern Thailand born-and-raised chef Nuit Regular and her husband Jeff); but then with its chic décor, sophisticated cocktail list and sly twists on some traditional dishes, Chubby’s is also a departure from the city’s more basic – and also totally delicious – Jamaican takeout joints.

FALL 2018 27 â–

A THREE-YEAR LABOUR OF LOVE, the restaurant is born of passion and friendship: Angela Lawrence, Gusto’s chief culture officer, attended to every detail from the building design (after purchasing the house, Gusto undertook the addition of a twostorey greenhouse that, by day, bathes the restaurant in warm sunlight) to menus that meet her exacting palate, a byproduct of having two Jamaica-born-andraised parents; it’s an unlikely role but also a natural one for Lawrence, who started the blog Cook Like a Jamaican six years ago with her mother Fay (the blog has nearly 116,000 YouTube subscribers) and who entered the Gusto fold as a favour to her friend Janet (Zuccarini, the sole owner and impresario behind the Gusto brand, and a Top Chef Canada judge), answering phones when the company’s head office was understaffed. The pair met in a professional leadership program 18 years ago and have since spent ample time together travelling and eating. “I couldn’t have imagined that this was what I’d be doing today,” Lawrence says.

28 FALL 2018 ■

BUT AS UNLIKELY AS HER ROLE MAY BE, Lawrence’s fingerprints are all over the restaurant, from the food – the festival, traditional fried dumplings that are a popular street food on the island, are made using Lawrence’s mother’s recipe – to the “family wall”: a display of lovingly arranged vintage photos mostly of Lawrence’s family on her greatgrandfather’s property in Jamaica’s St. Elizabeth parish. “The homestyle stuff is all very Jamaican,” Lawrence says, pointing to one section of Chubby’s menu. “We have a beef (patty) and that’s very traditional, but we also have (patties filled with) coconut greens – a vegetarian one – and curry turkey. Those are fillings you wouldn’t necessarily find. Curry chicken, curry goat, oxtail stew, that’s all very traditional.” And while the open kitchen features a custom-built jerk oven – chicken comes by the quarter, half or whole, along with jerk pork and shrimp – the menu also offers playful, unusual takes on Jamaica’s traditional flavours and spicing. Cocktails lean heavily on Chubby’s rum program, though often with an updated twist (there’s a potent rum punch on tap too, as well as rum flights), and the slow-baked jerk wings, for example, come deeply caramelized and even hotter than the conventional version of the dish. Drizzled with wildflower honey and sprinkled with scotch bonnet dust, the peppers that give Jamaican food its searing heat, they’re a dish you’re unlikely to find on the island, but a must-order.

“I COULDN’T HAVE IMAGINED THAT THIS WAS WHAT I’D BE DOING TODAY” FALL 2018 29 ■

“ONE OF THE THINGS WE KEPT ON SAYING WAS WE’RE NOT DUMBING DOWN THE SPICE. IF YOU DON’T WANT SPICY THEN DON’T ORDER THE JERK. BUT IF YOU CAN HANDLE THE SPICE IT’S WORTH IT,” LAWRENCE SAYS.

BUT WHEN IT COMES TO JAMAICAN CUISINE, she says Torontonians have required little dumbing down or introduction. “Jamaican culture is very evident in Toronto. Toronto slang is very influenced by Patois; when I was in high school you could go to the cafeteria and get a Jamaican patty, you could go to the corner store and get a Jamaican patty. There are Jamaican takeout places all over the city. There’s an exposure. So many people that I know who live here and are not Jamaican have been to Jamaica, a lot many more times than me. There’s a lot of familiarity with the culture. You can get ingredients in the supermarket. Any tropical fruit we need, we can find it in Toronto. That’s part of how we knew it would do well here. And we just thought, it’s time.”

Court Contractors

Aces The Home Court BY MARTHA UNIACKE BREEN

The exact origins of the game of tennis are not certain. But some historians trace it back to 12th century French monasteries, where a small ball was batted over a net using bare hands instead of a racquet. The game has evolved somewhat since then, of course, and the modern version is enjoyed by millions of people all over the world. It’s said that tennis is one of those pastimes that’s very easy to learn, and very difficult to master. Richard Phelan, the principal of tennis court specialist Court Contractors, practically grew up on a tennis court, and brings his passion for the game to the custom courts he builds for clients. The company has been in business for some 45 years; Phelan has been involved for the last two decades. It’s an unusual specialty, and one that requires both attention to detail and a high degree of personalized customer service.

34 FALL 2018 ■

“It’s a niche market, really,” he said recently over lunch at the Oakville Club, whose distinctive blueand-green courts were installed by his company. “This is a highly service-based industry, and you don’t want to get too large, because there’s a danger you could lose the quality and service aspect.” That custom aspect is crucial, since while there’s a standard size to a regulation tennis court, every site

and every customer is unique. The company also installs other kinds of courts for clients with slightly smaller properties: pickleball (a relatively new offshoot of tennis using smaller racquets and a smaller court, great for beginners and kids), basketball, or a combination of both – for even an urban backyard usually has room for a hoop and a square of asphalt for one-on-one.

Photography: Daniel Weylie

FALL 2018 35 ■

“Tennis is a great family sport, since it’s great for all ages and all levels.” “Tennis is a great family sport, since it’s great for all ages and all levels. It’s also a very social sport, since you can invite friends over to play any time you want,” says Richard’s wife Stephanie Phelan, who partners with him in the business. “And even if you only have room for a backyard basketball court, it’s a great way to get teens off their screens and outside.”

36 FALL 2018 ■

There are several different kinds of court surfaces, Phelan explains: clay, which can be manufactured or natural; artificial grass; and even synthetic surfaces. But the most popular surface the company recommends for home courts is called soft asphalt (or “asphalt penetration”). These use a special grade of asphalt that is, as the name implies, softer than the familiar road asphalt. As Stephanie observes, “After all, it only has to stand up to people, not trucks.”

“For those who are blessed with a wicked backhand and a big enough backyard, installing your own tennis court is actually more reasonable than you might think.”

The softer composition gives the surface four times the shock absorption, making it more comfortable to play on than regular asphalt, and it’s also more pliable under temperature changes, allowing it to better resist cracking. (Court Contractors guarantees against cracking.) Over this, a special fibreglass-reinforced acrylic paint membrane is applied, delineating the play area and adding another layer of durability. It’s the same acrylic colour system used at both the U.S. and Australian Open tournaments, the only two “hard court” Grand Slam tournaments in the world, and Court Contractors is one of the only contractors in Ontario that offers it. Under ordinary conditions, courts like these can last for forty years or more, with only minor maintenance and resurfacing once a decade or so. Phelan is a Certified Tennis Court Builder with the American Sports Builders Association, one of only two Canadians so designated. He’s the second generation at the helm of Court Contractors; his dad was originally a partner in an asphalt paving company, Furfari Paving. Furfari began building asphalt tennis courts in

the late sixties, riding the wave of a boom in the sport spawned by the rise of colour televisions and tennis stars such as Rod Laver and Arthur Ashe. By 1972, the division was doing so well that the senior Mr. Phelan decided to spin it off into a standalone company, and invited several family members to join him in the business.

work than I was doing,” he recalls. He gradually began investing more time and money in the business, and eventually purchased the company. He has worked full-time there for the last twenty years. “It’s still very much a family business,” says Stephanie. “Some of our employees have worked with us for over 30 years.”

Richard didn’t immediately enter the family business; after earning his engineering degree, he went on to work as a professional civil engineer for nearly a decade. “But then I began to realize I wanted a job where I could do more hands-on

vary widely depending on site and other variables – but a court is certainly lower maintenance than the average backyard pool. “Along with the fact that you don’t have to pay club and court fees ever again – or wear tennis whites,” Phelan points out. Installing asphalt penetration material does not require large heavy machinery, making it well suited to cottages and islands, he adds. While you do need a certain amount of space around the court for grading and other construction, the company uses small equipment and much of the work is done by hand, making it much easier to access a city backyard or a recreational property. “Sites with limited access and difficult terrain, such as islands, are our specialty,” says Phelan.

Phelan recommends orienting the court on a north-south axis to avoid the sun in your eyes during an early morning or sunset game. And while 120’ by 60’ is the size of a standard court space, you can adjust the margins a few feet if necessary. “But for spaces that can’t accommodate a full court, you could always put in a pickleball court (66 by 36 feet is the recommended size), or a basketball court.” Along with the court itself, consider adding special fencing, whether chain-link or something more aesthetic; equipment such as a practice wall, a ball machine, a seating area, or LED lighting. “We love tennis,” says Phelan. “We want to find clients who feel the same way we do. Every job we do is a custom, bespoke job for that client.”

NEAR MAGNETAWAN (CROPPED) | ACRYLIC ON CANVAS | 30” X 36”

Bev Rodin

EMOTIVE ART BY A SCHOLARLY MIND By David Lasker

Bev Rodin, who paints mystically evocative lakes and forests, works with a surprisingly disciplined and scientific method FALL 2018 43 ■

44 FALL 2018 ■

CANADIAN SHIELD | ACRYLIC ON CANVAS | 66” X 44”

The dormered studio in artist Bev Rodin’s north Toronto home overlooks a wild, wooded ravine. Canvases in various states of completion lean against the walls. Her website groups her works, primarily acrylics, into Forest Light and Shoreline series, City & Country Gardens, and Watercolours and Plein Air.

FLEETING | ACRYLIC ON CANVAS | 30” X 60”

Often, her landscapes – such as Fleeting, depicting a clearing in the green woods with autumnal red leaves in the foreground – have a wispy, smoky, almost mystical quality. “I’m trying to catch a moment during the day when the light falls in a certain way,” she says. “There’s some abstraction here, but you can tell what the subject is.” Pointing to a waterfall scene resting near her easel on the paint-spattered studio floor, she explains, “That’s another forest I have on the go. It’s based on rapids on the Oxtongue River near Algonquin Park, with logs and jumbles of rocks.” Moving to another partially formed canvas, she adds, “I’m fond of this one, with silvery-grey driftwood on a shoreline.” While she often paints Muskoka scenes of docks, lakes and morning mist, she’s not your stereotype Muskoka painter, because she rarely places cottages and boathouses at centre stage.

A self-described “contemporary landscape painter who’s interested in beauty,” she explains, “My compositions are quite modern. That waterfall, for instance, has a contemporary look because of the scale: it’s close up and has a lot of energy that’s not laboured. It has abstraction and looseness.” Looseness in landscape painting is associated with plein air or outdoor painting, because, by definition, there’s not much time to get it right: Think of the dynamic, improvisational quality of Tom Thomson’s sketchbooks. “It’s characteristic of my style too,” she says, “even though these are studio works.”

When doing plein air, she opines, “spring and fall are best.” One winter, she recalled with a laugh, “my paintings froze. When they thawed, the patterns stained the watercolour, which was quite lovely and charming.” Not prone to artist’s block, she likes to begin a canvas literally with broad strokes, using brushes one to three inches wide. “They let me get started with a big, loose background. She points to charts taped to the wall near her easel based on the Munsell Color Wheel. The system was devised over a century ago and specifies colours by three parameters: hue (such as red, green or blue), value (how light or dark), and chroma (colour purity or intensity). The payoff is that when working with a colour, it enables one to identify the precise complementary (opposite) and co-ordinating (neighbouring) tones.

“I refer to the charts to add punch to a painting and make it harmonious. I want my colours to be refined, not loud or garish. No Day-Glo for me! “For instance, this painting I’m working on has a colour scheme of light blue-greens with very light peaches in the background. I can mix these nice beautiful grey tones so that they’re in harmony with peach because they’ve got red in them.” She leafs through a handsome-looking coffee-table book, The Landscapes, by Richard Schmid, an American artist

she cites as an influence. “He makes colour charts similar to Munsell, but using his particular palette of colours, to get the greys and see the different transitions between the colours. They’re very subtle.” She also refers to her charts when “I think about the change in value – what the greyscale’s going to do when I want to get enough contrast while keeping it subtle.” Such an academic approach suggests an extensive education. Indeed, she

Where’s the viewer going to look? Do I need more colour? Does the painting say something? Is there a feeling, something emotive about it?” What spurred her to become an artist? “I guess I like landscapes because Dad was in mining, and I grew up in little mining towns across Canada: Port-Cartier, Quebec; Elliot Lake and Sudbury, Ontario; and Saskatchewan. “A GOOD HOCKEY PLAYER PLAYS WHERE THE PUCK IS. A GREAT HOCKEY PLAYER PLAYS WHERE THE PUCK IS GOING TO BE.” That bit of wisdom is from a great Canadian and arguably the greatest hockey player who ever lived: Wayne Gretzky. If you want to do something well, learn from the best; building wealth is no different. Some financial professionals believe that 85% to 95% of the long-term return of any portfolio is due to asset allocation¹. What matters is where you are invested, whether stocks, bonds or cash. The specific stocks in the portfolio are much less important. A balanced portfolio of 60% stocks and 40% bonds has historically been the go-to strategy! But have times changed? As many of you know, bonds are currently offering fairly low returns. Until lately, the value of bond holdings was increasing due to falling interest rates; that is just the weird way bonds work. Now interest rates are starting to rise, and that means that existing bonds are unlikely to increase in value. Your bond income will probably be entirely from the bond’s interest payments, which are quite low. If you are invested in a traditional 60%/40% balanced portfolio, 40% of your money may make little or no contribution to your returns. Some investors compensate for low interest rates by investing more of their money in stocks, increasing the overall risk of the portfolio. That can be inappropriate and stressful for those not suited to such solutions. As we saw in 2008, if the stock market falls substantially, it may take a long time for your portfolio to return to previous values. For some investors this is not a problem, but others may not wish or be able to wait. This is challenging for many investors and their advisors. A number of professional investors, including large government pension plans, routinely

consider another group of investments for their portfolios². While these investors have diversified portfolios and invest in traditional stocks, bonds and cash – no surprise there – they frequently research and select alternative investments. In many cases, over 40% of the portfolio is allocated to alternative investments³. Think of alternative investments as additional tools in the portfolio tool box. For the same reason that combining stocks and bonds reduces risk through diversification, adding alternatives can further reduce risk. In fact, many investors already own an alternative asset: their home. Real estate is a great example of an alternative investment because it is held long-term and its value has little to do with the movement of the stock market. Other examples of alternative investments that can be added to a portfolio are hedge funds, private equity, venture capital and infrastructure. At The Waterfront Group of CIBC Wood Gundy, we encourage investors to investigate this lesser-known asset class. With the help of an advisor, you can determine if adding alternatives to your portfolio is suitable to your situation. Some of the most successful investors in the world incorporate this strategy with the goal of improving investment performance. One final quote from “The Great One,” Wayne Gretzky: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” Dan W. Wynnyk, Vice-President & Investment Advisor The Waterfront Group – CIBC Wood Gundy

WONDERING WHAT MAKES AN EXCLUSIVE LISTING EXCLUSIVE? The Muskoka real estate market is hotter than ever and common advice from ordinary brokerages tells you to advertise to millions on multiple websites. Your property is neither common or ordinary, so how do you keep your listing from getting lost in the thousands of other listings? It deserves the premier services of a Cayman Marshall exclusive listing; designed to deliver proven results. An exclusive listing with Cayman Marshall is a level of service uniquely created to get your luxury property front and centre to interested buyers: quality over quantity. Our dedicated team of agents know the difference between simply whipping up attention for a property and establishing credibility with serious buyers and sellers. We know that the exact buyer you need is the one who wants the inside track on only the best available properties. These are the buyers who have neither the time nor inclination to sift through hundreds of similar sounding descriptions on MLS. A Cayman Marshall exclusive listing means our agents will pre-qualify prospects and eliminate the “recreational” lookers and

nosey neighbours. For higher end properties, we may require bank documentation to prove serious interest before we show it. Our agents may work on a negotiated reduction on commission. Our clientele may desire very specific showing instructions. These are examples of specific and/or custom conditions that are set out in the listing agreement that are available to our exclusive clientele. This ensures that every one of your expectations are met. We at Cayman Marshall don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to selling luxury Muskoka real estate. An exclusive listing starts with a personalized marketing plan rolled out to the more than 27,000 people in our database and visitors to our website. When you list exclusively with Cayman Marshall our team will have the sole right to showcase your property for the duration of the listing. Concessions can be made for other brokerages, but only for genuine, qualified prospects. Regardless of whether you’re a motivated buyer or seller, an exclusive listing with Cayman Marshall is a great option for those that want an alternative to MLS.

MEET THE TEAM...

RAY DICKSON**

MIKE ARNOLD*

Broker of Record

Sales Representative

Ray has been loving Muskoka for the past 40 years and is happy to call it home with his wife Johanna and their two boys. His passion for Muskoka is equally shared with real estate since first licensed in 2007.

With 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing, joining the Cayman Marshall team was a great fit for Michael. His “customer first” dedication to his clients has always resulted in successful long-term relationships. With a passion for boating and water sports, Michael looks forward to enjoying all that the Muskoka Lakes has to offer.

TODD ADAIR*

President/Sales Representative

Todd made a name for himself in real estate back in 2011 when in Todd’s first year of selling, he earned the spot as the #1 Remax agent in Muskoka. That motivated him to continue on and become President of Cayman Marshall International Realty in 2012. In 2013, he became the majority shareholder and recently decided to purchase the entire company and dedicate 100% of his efforts into taking Cayman Marshall to the next level. Todd has created, built and sold various IT companies. Throughout his career, he has been known for breaking the mold and always moving against the grain – never satisfied with the ordinary, but striving for excellence. Todd firmly believes that real estate isn’t about excelling at sales, but rather about being great at solving problems and caring for clients through exceptional service. In Todd’s down time you will find him buying, building or renovating his own real estate projects, on the water wakeboarding and kite surfing, or hacking up the fairways of a local golf course. Todd’s most important job is being a husband and father to his family of four.

JESSICA KAYE*

Sales Representative

Jess prides herself on being born and raised in Muskoka, spending summers on the lakes and winters on the snowmobile trails. Jess’ understanding for Muskoka is what helps her succeed in making the real estate transaction successful and enjoyable for all her clients.

Jeff entered into real estate in 2008 facing a down market and a recession in the echoes. Overcoming the odds, Jeff has now become a “top producer” in his industry. Working and living in Muskoka comes with a deep appreciation, it is this appreciation that Jeff portrays to his clients every day.
