SHEPLEY BULFINCH PAPUA NEW GUINEA HEALTHCARE ENGA, PAPUA NEW GUINEA Job Role/ Responsibilities: - BIM Team - Junior Designer - Graphics Papa New Guinea, a third world country, does not have access to modern health facilities. The goverment decided to fund a new health care campus for its population. As Shepley Bulfinch’s first international project in decades, this project was not only a huge in terms of marketing, but also financially. The program consists of an emergency department, in-patient and out-patient wards, and residential area for the various staff members. Due to the size and extensive program, the project team was fairly large, 15 team members, as well as another firm that worked on the residential design.

yale new Haven Hospital - Master planning SHEPLEY BULFINCH YALE NEW HAVEN HOSPITAL HEALTHCARE MASTER PLANNING NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT Job Role/ Responsibilities: - Graphics - Documentation YNHH, a huge client of the firm, was updating their main facilities as well as buying off smaller clinics in hopes to offer a more extensive healthcare network. As they purchased other clinics, they looked to modify and update those facilities as well. We were asked to document and master plan their evergrowing network as a way for them envision what amendities they can offer, in which locations, and what other amendities they need to buy to offer a holistic healthcare network for Connecticut. I and a coworker teamed up to create and document these master planning studies. The following images are diagrams I created for this study.

The commercial space, which we named “Mattapan United Mercado, is a market (Mercado) that encourages local startup businesses with small rentable booths for businesses starting at resonably low rates. As these businesses expands, the pay for rent will increase. This encourages the developer and merchants, alike, to grow business and create a community beacon that will be frequented by Boston commuters and the Mattapan Community.
