Preceptor Newsletter December 3, 2021 “You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a negative person. It makes you human.” — Lori Deschene

IPPE Workbook Tip IPPE preceptor, Dr. Jennifer Thompson (AnMed Medical Center) includes workbook activities on her rotation calendar she shares with her students. By identifying the workbook activities that can be accomplished in that day's plans, the rotation is streamlined and organized!

"My preceptor was very scheduled and on top of everything. I always knew where I was going and who I was going to be with for the day. My preceptor also went above and beyond and correlated my day with my workbook assignments. It was very

helpful."

In each preceptor newsletter, we’ll provide you a brief look at some current articles. And we’ll provide the source information as well so you can take a look at the entire article yourself.
