Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy
Important Upcoming Dates
Easter Break is April 7-10, 2023 P1 students assigned to rotations on Fridays may be affected by this holiday as indicated below.
Both Spring and Easter Breaks have already been built into our schedule as published in the syllabus located in each workbook and in our newsletters.
For IPPE students scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, the last day of the 6week Spring-2 IPPE session will be April 11, 12, or 13, depending on the day of the week your student is scheduled
For P1 students scheduled on Friday afternoons, April 7 is a school holiday (Good Friday); thus, April 21 would be their last day of rotation. However, we realize that some sites--as well as some students--do not observe this day as a holiday Therefore, we allow students to forego this holiday and attend their Friday IPPE on April 7 if you also agree If this occurs, April 14 would be their last day of rotation. Your student has been instructed to discuss this option with you if he/she is interested in this change Approval by the O ce of Experiential Education is not required
If you are also an APPE preceptor, please note that P4s do not observe Spring Break and should only receive time off for the Easter holidays if your site does!
Residency Match Days: Phase I Match Day is March 15 for those students who have applied to residency programs Additionally, Phase II Match Day will occur on April 14
Your March or April APPE student may request accommodation on these days and should discuss this with you well in advance While the PCSP O ce of Experiential Education supports our students in their endeavors, we have not given approval for any student to be off on either day. Instead, we defer to you to arrive at whatever agreement you feel is reasonable that also preserves the structure of your rotation Students should make up any missed hours should you decide to accommodate any requests.

In the meantime, we will share
our mentor listing with the students so that they can become familiar with the options for mentors In the coming months we will provide additional details regarding PCSP’s mentor program and the process for pairing mentors and mentees as we lead up to our kickoff mentor fair.
