Our co-curricular sports programme is offered to students in Kindergarten to Year 12 with the aim to provide a cohesive, personalised and streamlined approach to skill development, fitness and competitive aspirations.
PLC competes as a member of the Independent Girls’ Schools’ Sports Association (IGSSA) for both upper Junior School and Senior School students.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
Students have the opportunity to complete the internationally recognised Duke of Edinburgh Award. Girls in Years 8 to 12 are able to work toward their bronze, silver or gold award, developing their leadership skills, improving their fitness, contributing to the community and experiencing an adventure along the way.

Lighthouse Fitness and Wellbeing
Junior School
The Junior School Lighthouse co-curricular programme runs from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm, Monday to Thursday. Students commence with afternoon tea, followed by a variety of co-curricular activities offered by external facilitators or PLC staff.
The activity session runs from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm with a 15-minute transition time for parents/carers to collect their children. The second session on offer is the Lighthouse Plus Programme from 5.00 pm - 5.45 pm; a combination of mindful activities, stories and/or art and craft.
Senior School
Students in Years 7 to 12 can access Lighthouse Fitness through structured classes. Students in Years 10 – 12 are able to use the Fitness Centre before and after school.
