The institute is administered by Archdiocese of Verapoly, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. AIM offers a two-year, full time Masters program in Business Administration (MBA) that lays the foundation for an in-depth analytical and conceptual understanding of Indian and International Business. The course imparts knowledge, and fosters attitudes essential for the overall development of management students to turn them into competent and responsible managers. The program has been designed after extensive research, and provides students with multiple career opportunities.

P r og ra m S tructure AIM offers a full time, 2-year course divided into four semesters as per the prescribed guidelines of MG University. The first and second semesters have 9 core subjects each, that elaborate on the concepts of business, management and various line and support functional areas. Both third and fourth semesters include 2 core and 6 elective subjects. All the students can have a major and a minor specialization in any 2 of the four streams viz. Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology. Elective subjects are based on the specialization areas of each student. Students are also to undertake an Organizational Study for a period of 1 month in the third semester and a major project in the final semester for a period of 2 months in their area of major specialization. To reinforce the conceptual learning, the institute also stimulates students to take up short-term projects as well, in their specialization areas.

fac ulty The dynamic faculty members at AIM are capable of moulding the students according to the changing nature of the Industry and other components of the environment. All of them have a true blend of exposure and experience in industry and academics. The institute constantly encourages its teaching fraternity to attain higher qualifications, publish articles and to take up consultancy services for their holistic development.

p e dag ogy The pedagogy of AIM places emphasis on experiential and process-oriented learning. The activities like case studies, simulation exercises and industry-oriented project works undertaken by the students at AIM build value consciousness and develop decision-making, team and leadership skills. Value addition in the subjects and preparation for a career in the outside world is also ensured at AIM by frequent interactions with experts from the corporate world.
