VOTING GUIDELINES

Vote for 7 class officer candidates. Voting rooms are only open at lunch from 12:30-1:15. You must have your ID to vote.

LEADERSHIP ACADEMY STATUS

Probationary members have attended fewer than 5 workshops. Bronze members have attended 5-9 workshops. Silver members have attended all 10 workshops. Gold members have completed all workshops and a Capstone Project.

PANTHER PRIDE STATUS

To be a member in good standing Panther Pride members must: • Attend all meetings • Attend 2 games/sports that aren’t spirit-point games • Join a sub-committee • Meet fundraising quota • Attend two A-Day Smackdowns per semester • Members may have 2 unexcused absences and 1 excused absence from all Panther Pride events including but not limited to games, meetings and A-Day Smackdowns before being contacted by a moderator. White members meet requirements Silver members exceed game requirements for two seasons Gold members exceed three requirements and participate in a Panther Pride community service activity.

Presentation leadership positions Sophomore Class Officer Freshman Homeroom Representative Presentation involvement Theater 2014-2015, 2013-2014 Peer Ministry 2014-2015 Presentation Clubs CI Liturgical Band PAC Science National Honors Society Mu Alpha Theta Community service This year, I attended Sophomore Day of Service, we spend the day completing service at Veggielution, a community farm that works to make sustainable foods available for low income families. Additional comments As the 10E sophomore class officer, I have been involved in all spirit events and have worked tirelessly for our class. During Mag Drive I participated in our rally dance, and sold well over quota. For food drive, I participated multiple times in leafleting and canvassing. During Spirit Week, I worked on our class hall and helped choreograph our amazing Pan Pan Dance. With the help of our mission drive reps, I helped to organize the 10E Disneyland Raffle for Mission Drive. I have loved representing an amazing class this year!

Additional comments In addition to actively participating in hall decorating, food drive, mission drive, and magazine drive, I took on a leadership role as a choreographer for the pan pan and magazine drive dances.

I have also gone to my old school, Holy Family, twice a week and helped kids with their homework. For a week over the summer, I volunteered at Holy Family Parish by being a leader of a group of young kids at their Vacation Bible Camp. I have gone to Sacred Heart multiple times, as well. Additional comments During Spirit week, I participated in all of the dress up days and helped with Hall Decorating. During Food Drive and Toy Drive, I brought something in almost every turn in day. I was enthusiastic about all these events in homeroom and tried my best to get others excited too.

Additional comments I participated in Mission the 2013-2014 school by going around school selling otter pops in order to raise money. I was greatly involved in hall decorating the 2013-2014 school year as well and had an a,axing experience with it.

Leadership Academy Status: Probationary Presentation leadership positions Sophomore Homeroom Representative Presentation involvement Soccer 2014-2015, 2013-2014 Swimming 2014-2015, 2013-2014 Peer Ministry 2014-2015 Presentation Clubs PAC Community Involvement SEAS CSF Community service I planted seedlings and weeded a field at Veggielution Community Farm for the sophomore day of service. I bagged donated food for less fortunate families at St. Joseph’s Family Center in Gilroy. Additional comments Mag Drive: I participated in the dance and I brought in baked goods to encourage my homeroom’s participation. Spirit Week: I participated in the sophomore dance during pan pan and I helped set up the sophomore game. Hall Decorating: I was in charge of the hall design and I helped to organize the tasks during decorating. Mission Drive: For this year, I plan to sell baked goods with my homeroom and organize a sophomore shop where creative classmates can sell crafts to the school.

Additional comments I was an active participant and leader in the Mag Drive Rally, Hall Decorating, and Spirit Week. I contributed to Food Drive, Toy Drive, Mission Drive, Magazine Drive, and am going to contribute to Mission Drive. I also worked to motivate my Homeroom for all the drives.

LUCY PARKS

Presentation leadership positions Sophomore Class Officer Freshman Homeroom Representative Presentation involvement Swim Team 2015, 2014 Golf Team 2014, 2013 Peer Ministry 2014-2015 Presentation Clubs PAC Community service I am in National Charity League 2013-2014, 2014-2015. We do at least 15 hours of philanthropy every year. I have volunteered at Sunday Friends, JW House, Veggielution, and InnVision. I also use my leadership skills in this organization. I was the VP of Philanthropy and Parliamentarian last year and this year I am the VP of cultural, social, and activities. Additional comments I have been an active participant in the Magazine Drive for two years. Freshman and Sophomore year I helped out with Hall Decorating every day I could and as long as I could. I was decked out this year for spirit week from Meredith Grey to a golfing Country Club member. I danced in Magazine Drive and Pan Pan both freshman and sophomore year. I helped out a lot with Food drive this year and last year canvassing and collecting. I also participated in Mission Drive freshman year and sophomore year. I love leading our proud minions!

Presentation leadership positions Freshman Homeroom Representative Sophomore Magazine Drive Representative Sophomore Mission Drive Representative Presentation Clubs PAC CI Community service I volunteer at least 3 times a week at Belmont Village which is an assisted living facility. While I’m there, I work with the residents in the dementia care unit. One of the residents who is closest to my heart is my dad. My dad is one of the many who I have the opportunity to empathize and care for in my daily life. Additional comments I am a competitive gymnast and I train 4-5 days a week. This sport has been a major part of my life since I was little and it has been a great opportunity for me to develop my confidence and ability to persevere.

Black and White: I helped paint decorations for Black and White.
