Platino Linear with Compact Server –reliable and productive solution for cost effective 2D laser processing

The Platino Linear 1530 2D laser machine, the new Prima Power 2D laser solution, is equipped with an 8kW fiber laser and stands out as an efficient and easy-to-use solution for processing any material and shape with high cutting quality. This machine perfectly balances Prima Power’s expertise and quality with affordable investment and operating costs. At EuroBLECH 2024, the Platino Linear will be showcased with features designed to further increase its overall profitability.

The maintenance-free linear drive enhances machine uptime and reduces operating costs due to its high energy efficiency. With its compact footprint, the Platino Linear achieves best-in-class throughput per square metre with a 22% reduced footprint.

Additionally, it offers lower cost per part with gas savings up to 40%, reduced energy consumption, and up to 96% sheet utilization. Advanced cutting options, such as the GAS MIXER Cut and ECO TOUCH Cut, optimise cutting processes by enhancing speed, reducing gas consumption and minimizing burrs in a variety of materials.

The Compact Server loading/unloading system further optimizes the overall throughput per square metre thanks to its minimal additional space requirement, making it one of Prima Power’s best-selling automation solutions. It ensures reliability and ease of management with its seamless integration and increases efficiency by handling raw materials and finished parts with precision.

Robotic Press Brake Bending Cell –modular and integrated solution for 24/7 heavy duty use and fast return on investment

The Prima Power Robotic Press Brake Bending Cell exhibited in Hannover integrates the eP Genius 1030 press brake equipped with automatic tool changing system and a 7-axis anthropomorphic robot, which connects the press brake to a high-end Night Train® storage creating a fully automated Flexible Manufacturing System. This setup provides versatile production with high efficiency, repeatability and intensive use for a quick return on investment by combining the flexibility of the robot with the quality of the servo-electric press brake.

The Robotic Press Brake Bending Cell is profitable for both small and large batches due to its easy part programming, its automatic gripper change and its modular automatic tool change, which is up to 30% faster than the market average. Its efficiency in unmanned production enables fully automated operations, eliminating all manual intervention except for the removal of finished parts from the work area.

Automatic material handling by robot includes picking up the material from the Night Train wagon, centering the part, overturning it by the Sheet Reverser (if required), bending and palletising. The automatic gripper change takes place in masked time when the ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) changes the tool in the eP press brake. The Robotic Press Brake Bending Cell can be integrated into a Prima Power Flexible Manufacturing System creating a fully unmanned process that combines raw material cutting, blanking, and bending, with intermediate and automatic handling phases.

PSBB Flexible Manufacturing System – the market-leading solution for panel manufacturing

The PSBB (Punch-Shear-Buffer-Bend) line is a fully integrated system ideal for manufacturing rectangular parts and thin materials. The system showcased at EuroBLECH 2024 includes the Shear Genius 1530 EVO combined punch and shear system and the Express Bender EBe 2726 FM panel bender. The PSBB Line provides integrated automation, enabling 24/7 automated production for kit, batch, and mass production. By reducing low addedvalue manual operations, PSBB results in four times higher production efficiency compared to conventional manufacturing cells. The Shear Genius 1530 EVO is designed for square parts and panels, offering the lowest cost per part and highest productivity. It combines various processes, including punching, tapping, forming, marking, and shearing, with up to 600 tools available inside the machine without additional tool storage. This integration results in unbeatable productivity for rectangular parts with the most reliable part separation for superior cutting-edge quality. With the best cutting length in its class, it reduces shear hits and lowers cycle time, delivering truly sustainable production through high sheet optimisation (20% better than conventional technologies), low power consumption (25% compared to conventional technologies), and reduced maintenance requirements. The integration of the Fast Loading Storage sheet-by-sheet loading device provides an efficient and economical solution when production demands require quick raw material changes.

The bending solution integrated into the PSBB line on show at EuroBLECH is the Express Bender EBe2726 FM. This fully servo-electric panel bender extends the bending capabilities of the manufacturing line with its new bending height of 264 mm (+30% compared to standard panel benders), making it even more suitable for the production of electrical cabinets, mailboxes, lockers, architectural structures, and fire boxes. The DNP (Device for Narrow Parts) option also enables the bending of narrow parts and profiles. The Express Bender on display in Hannover is full optional; key features include advanced angle control systems, such as the Thickness Measurement System (TMS), which automatically measures the thickness of the flat sheet in hidden time, and the patented Advanced Profile Inspection (API), which applies corrections to a bend to achieve the target angle within the required tolerance.

EuroBLECH 2024 will see the world premiere of the new CAM software NC Express BEND, designed specifically for panel bending operations.
