Spiritually Fit - Ready to Serve® (SFRS) Program Overview "The appearance of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) visual information does not imply or constitute DoD endorsement."

Imagine an 18-year-old service member who puts their faith in Christ while attending an SFRS course in bootcamp, moving on to advanced training school where they grow through a more extensive small group version of this gospelcentered program, and then becoming a leader in their faith community serving through chaplains and local churches while growing as a model Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine.

What is SFRS?

For over thirty years Cru Military® teams have been sharing the gospel by using content from the Four Spiritual Laws and How to Live a Spirit Filled Life, which are incorporated into a booklet called the Military Spiritual Fitness Guidebook. Today, over 7,000 recruits/trainees from the US Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps go through these courses each week as we partner with U.S. Military Chaplains to provide Christian Education. It is now time to take this impactful program to the next level, through relevant material and strategic connection points.

Spiritually Fit — Ready to Serve® (SFRS) aims to provide faith leaders with the tools and information necessary to consistently and relevantly equip service members to explore the Bible and grow in their faith.

The SFRS program is intended to motivate service members to be "Spiritually Fit" by being in a right relationship with God, which will empower them to be "Ready to Serve" those around them and live out their military duty with honor.

We at the Cru Military, the military ministry of Cru® believe that a man or woman in uniform, bearing arms and subject to enemy action, deserves first priority to hear the Gospel of Christ. That is why we have taken up the call to assist US military chaplains in providing introduction to Christianity classes at all major military bootcamps for all branches of service. Hundreds of our staff and volunteer team members provide this service at no cost to often underfunded military chapel communities. We have cultivated strong relationships with chaplains of all faiths and have an outstanding track record of providing service with excellence, enhancing Christian religious programs.
