The California Tower

The California Tower is often described as San Diego’s icon. It stands 198 feet tall and is the most photographed and famous landmark San Diego has to offer. A dramatic blend of a Mexican color scheme and Spanish design make this tower truly unique. The California Tower is currently open for tours. The carillion bell inside the tower plays the Westminster Chimes every 15 minutes and it’s magnificent chime can be heard thoughout the park. Tours are now available at www.museumofus.org
