The blood glucose test strips which are required for glucose tests are disposable which means there is a steady growth opportunity in the glucose test strip market. Continuous glucose monitoring is mainly required for type I diabetes patients or patients very high blood glucose level. A type I diabetes is less prevalent; the market for CGM (Continuous glucose monitoring) devices is smaller compared to Regular glucose monitoring market.
