Building a Brighter & Bolder Future

Since Pro Bono Partnership was founded in 1997, we have had the ambitious goal of providing meaningful pro bono opportunities for lawyers and access to free, expert legal help for nonpro ts. Now, 26 years later and with the support of people like all of you here tonight, the Partnership proudly serves more than 1,000 nonpro ts each year in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York! We also have a robust educational program, a resource hotline for nonpro ts, and support that allows more than 1,500 volunteer lawyers annually to use their skills to give back.

The values we share with our partners at leading corporations, law rms, and scores of dedicated individuals have contributed to “Building a Brighter & Bolder Future,” nonpro ts that have increased capacity and neighborhoods that are stronger, better places to live and work. That is the power of pro bono and what we enthusiastically celebrate tonight!

Chubb North America Legal & Compliance and McCarter & English, LLP, exemplify our work and are longtime supporters and program participants. Their contributions to the Partnership, to the legal profession, and to our communities, are exceptional and far reaching. In addition to hearing from them tonight, you can learn more about these Champions’ contributions in the pages that follow.

Our mission is more relevant than ever as the nonpro t community’s need for pro bono help is greater than ever. With partners like you and our small, mighty, and dedicated team, we envision a bold and bright future where we work together to continue to meet nonpro ts’ legal needs and build stronger, more resilient communities.

We appreciate you celebrating with us tonight, and are truly grateful for your support!
