Fabulous pieces of jewelry. Fabulous inspirations. Fabulous craftsmanship. And a Fabulous location, too! Hosted in a historical palace in the center of Milan, Palazzo Giureconsulti, The Fab was one of the main projects of the Milano Jewelry Week 2022. About 150 international jewelry artists, designers and independent brands gave life to a broad exhibition of hundreds of pieces whose common thread was the free interpretation of the four elements. Water, Air, Earth, Fire: since the dawn of time man has admired, adored, studied them, fascinated and enchanted by their extraordinary, ubiquitous power, eternal symbols of magic and supernatural forces, capable of showing time after time their seductive or frightful face. Every artist was inspired by personal sensitivity and experiences and was encouraged to express him/ herself through the most varied materials, styles and patterns. This volume in turn is aimed to create a further form of art, interpreting the beauty and originality of those jewelry pieces through the work of several renowned photographers, graphic designers and illustrators: they all give their artistic contribution creating peculiar atmospheres, personal interpretations and strongly scenographic suggestions, at the same time showing deep respect for the artifacts exhibited in Milan. With its artistic point of view and its reiterated reflection on Water, Air, Earth, Fire, this book provides us with plenty of food for thought regarding the symbolic value of the four primordial elements and explores the artistic possibilities to represent them.

Movement, spirit, life. Air. The element of breath. Of the lightness and intangibility of thought. The substance of being. Air, a pure, transparent element. The breath of the world. The nourishment of the soul. Invisible and inescapable. Air is everywhere. Eternal. Impossible to describe: pure, light, wholesome, fresh, sharp, crisp, clear, transparent, polluted, foul, unbreathable, unhealthy, noxious, heavy, stifling, sultry, oppressive, suffocating, hot, humid, rarefied. Unbearable. Looking at it is fascinating. One becomes dizzy with the irresistible desire to fly. It is impossible to grasp it. One is terrified of falling. It is the present and the future. A limitation when it is lacking. A horizon when it becomes the stuff of dreams. Air is everything.

Snowflowers 3D. Bracelet. Silver. The essence of this collection is the Nordic crispness and beauty, the structure of snow. The Snowflakes 3D collection is a further development of the two-dimensional pattern. By adding a third dimension, it completely changes the overall picture. What remains is the structure and shine characteristic of snow. 3D printing gives us opportunities that have never existed before. New technological dimensions are opening up. Miracle as snowflower itself, a wonder does snow flower even exists.

Snowflowers 3D. Ring. Silver. In design of the ring symmetry is one of the main features in the nature, the structure of snow. The nature varies its typical patterns and adapts them to the needs of environment, striving for maximum effect with minimum effort. The ring is hand adornment with quite moderate forms and volumes. To notice patterns is a component of the human intellect. The beauty of nature is inherently functional and relative and occasionally it also is decorative.

Yeonbong Ring. Rose gold, champagne diamonds. Maedeup Ring. White gold, diamonds.

Maedeup, a traditional Korean knot, is the primary inspiration for my recent designs. It takes a high level of skill, focus, and patience to form each ornament. I pay close attention so as to honour sincerity and authenticity when creating each knot. The production process must be organic in order to achieve the infinite shapes and fluid curves. I aspire to create jewellery that is classic and simple; promoting my belief that timeless elegance is always found in the simplest of details.

Accartocciato Ring. Sterling Silver. The Accartocciato ring is a statement ring inspired by crumpled paper and handcrafted in sterling silver. The Accartocciati Collection also wants to be a daily reminder to appreciate, repurpose, reuse and supports the fight to plastic pollution. Designed and sustainably handcrafted in NYC by Nathalie, an Italian jewellery designer living in NY since 2014.

Accartocciato Choker. Necklace. Sterling Silver. The Accartocciato Choker is a statement necklace with a crumpled design. Shadowplay 01-4. Necklace. Brass, silver, silver plating. Möbius strips inspired me. Having no insides or outsides it is very interesting. Carl Jung said mature people can function better when their inner and outer personalities are in harmony. If so, I believe the Mobius strip can express an almost perfect personality. As this jewellery meets the light, the sparkling silver light becomes even more dazzling. As the light hits, the scintillation reflects the light back to the viewer’s eyes,

leaving a strong shadow behind.

Shadowplay 04-1. Other. Aluminium, silver stainless steel. This shoulder piece was inspired by the Uniform Epaulette. It emphasizes the masculine aspect. It is made of a total of 4 pieces, and each piece has a different shape and thickness. Diverse thicknesses and shapes give variance when viewed from above or from the side, respectively. When each piece is assembled, it looks like shadows created by multiple light sources because the lines overlap and intertwine. When light fell on it, this effect produced results similar to the reflection in a mirror.

Shadowplay 01-3. Necklace. 3D print, lacquer, cotton thread. By refining and repeating 3D prints, every piece has its own individuality. None of the 19 pieces are identical. Units with individual characteristics are weaved with cotton thread to make one large neckpiece. I focused on the back of the body in this work. As if flowing from the shoulder line and along the vertebrae, the neckpiece resembles a painting on a wide canvas. Three-dimensional artwork becomes a two-dimensional painting as soon as the shadow is cast on it.

Ceremony Of Summer Night. Ring. Moonstones, sapphire, white agate, white gold. The inspiration comes from Night Fairy: Small-leaved Barringtonia. It has a dreamy story. It’s called “Summer-night fireworks”, blooms at night and falls in the morning. It only has one night in its life, but it lives gorgeously and beautifully. this mysterious flower, even the posture of leaving is romantic, not withering away, it falls on the river or stream, drifting with the water, form another beautiful scenery.

The Dandelion’s Journey To The Moon. Other. Pearls, silver. The dandelion dream of traveling with the moon to look around the beautiful world. At midnight, the dandelion, glistering with dew, finally has a dream about itself flying to the moon. Suddenly, a wind blows and the dandelion turns into twinkling stars in the Milky Way. The beauty of life lies in unreachable dreams. The dandelion is born to be a pursuer of dreams, who symbolizes the sprout of hope. Its dream comes true when it finally flies to the moon to travel with it.

The process was essential, including the steps leading to the formation of the piece: the researching, sketching, experimenting, discarding and restarting. The transformation process of resin reflects a dance of practical and experimental factors. It contains an imprint which is continuing to evolve. Change is a constant.

Light, light show. Necklace. Brass, pearl, plexiglass. The neckpiece “light light show” is a sculptural neckpiece. It consists of several transparent rods, which can be worn separately as well. They are light in weight, but large in size. The composition - 3-dimensionally arranged around the wearer’s neck - resembles “lightbeams” and creates the illusion of a light show that moves with the body, generating beams of light and immersing the wearer in a luminous glow.

L’effet papillon. Necklace. Gold plated brass. This necklace is called “L’effet papillon” (which translates to “the butterfly effect”). It is a necklace made of gold plated brass, depicting a swarm of butterflies that looks like it is framing your neck. The butterflies seem to be all in movement, each different, as if trying to land on the neck. I wanted to create a necklace that feels like it is nature itself decorating the body of the person wearing it.

Avyaya - The Headgear. Other. Enamel, Copper, Silver. Avyaya - meaning one who is imperishable, one who is eternal. The headgear, inspired by the element of water, represents the Indian mythological story of the Holy river, Ganga. The headgear “Avyaya” is inspired by how Lord Shiva holds river Ganga in his locks. When Ganga was to descend on Earth it had such a vigorous flow that it could destroy the Earth. So Shiva locked her up in his hair and controlled her flow and tamed her. “Avyaya”is to emphasize that a calm mind can control any chaos. Holika - The Brooch. Enamel, Copper, Silver. Isosceles Ring. Sterling Silver. Isosceles Ring is inspired by both origami and pleating art. Origami is the art of folding paper to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional subjects and pleating is the process of putting a design of creases into fabric. By folding a square sheet of paper and playing with different pleating techniques, she experiments and creates functional jewelleries that capture the essence of her passion towards geometry and structural patterns. Fold Earrings. Sterling Silver. Fold Earring set is an exploration of designs inspired by paper architecture. By applying different folding techniques on a square sheet of paper she hopes to create intriguing structures that convert flat two-dimensional surfaces into three-dimensional sculptures. The two folding techniques used in this set of earrings are Accordion Pleats and Flat Pleats. One results in a flatter design and the other one a corrugated structure.

Victory Suite Nº 4. Bracelet. Solid silver. Victory Suite Nº4 Bracelet is rooted deep at its core, to a battle that took place at the Sea (Once long in Samothrace). Contemporary art jewellery is “Art to wear”. Creating contemporary art jewellery is a challenge. Art jewellery is unique, it represents a balance between innovation, creativity and individual expression. This artistic expression is at the crossroad between body ornament and sculpture. It is a means of communication on par with other means of artistic expressions such as fine arts. It attains the status of “objet d’art”, expected to last. “A thing of beauty is a joy forever”.

Container of experience, faith and protection in the past, and even more today. Those objects are both an ornament of the body - a jewel - and a symbol of protection. The two pieces, made of silver and golden silver filigree, are an evocation of the lockdown period while symbolizing hope in a better future.

Pink Loop. Brooch. Glass Beads, Steel wire. The Pink Loop is a large statement brooch created of vintage glass bugle beads and steel wire, woven in a firm but flexible rope like form. The woven structure is intricate and hollow, allowing the glass to catch the light from many directions. This brooch is a conversation piece and would wear very well on a coat or heavier garment. Inspired by the natural world and industrial forms, the piece presents the craft of beadwork in a modern way.

Turquoise Necklace. Glass Beads, steel wire. The turquoise necklace is made by hand of vintage glass beads and steel wire. Lightweight forms are hinged together so that the piece drapes gently over the neck. Steel wire allows the shapes to be hollow and flexible. The stitching processes mark the passage of time; and become a different entity when placed on the body and viewed by others. The viewing of jewelry when worn gives the work a function as connector and storyteller- an envoy of maker and the wearer.

Golden Bubbles. Necklace. Silver, gold plated. This necklace was created in two different materials. Half round spheres are linked to each other tightly, the spheres are quite big, but the wires delicate, so it gives a very light and playful impression. In order to enhance the effect, it got gold plated after finishing the soldering process in silver. The layer of gold gives it a very refined and elegant quality, it is through the way it was constructed also very light and very comfortable to wear. Necklace Tubes. Necklace. Silver, Turmalin. This necklace was made in 2019 in Florence, at a workshop with my dear teacher Marzia Rossi, who is was one of my teachers at Alchimia. It consists of two different materials, the hollow tubes were constructed with silver, the tubes closely connected with tiny jump rings. And as contrast I used black Turmalin, facetted, so it is very shiny and gives the piece a very light and elegant quality. The closure is made out of silver and is in the front.

The Messenger Wagon. Ring. Silver and leather. The railroad train played an important role in the history of my country, and especially in the state of Minas Gerais. This ring has a “wagon” carrying the message: Know ourselves! In Latin: “nosce te ipsum” (generally attributed to the Greek philosopher Socrates (479-399 BC), and would be the inscription that was seen at the entrance of the Delphic oracle, was printed on the “parchment”. The destination, where love and respect make a home along the way.

One of its measures in reduced scale, has a representation of the gauge of 1.435 millimeters , in honor of George Stepherson, main inventor of the railway locomotive. The gradient of the stones, starting from the blue of aquamarine and tourmaline, changes to brown with citrine and garnets, symbolizing the hues between heaven and earth, along with the ferrous tone attributed to iron ore.

Gabriela Sierra Torres | Gabriela Sierra | Mexico | @gabrielasierramx (Im)balance. Ring. Silver with smoky quartz and painted quartz. We, as humans have invested resources, time, and dreams trying to find similarities in whatever surrounds us, even in ourselves. Achieving similarity in millimetric magnitudes has become one of our biggest obsessions. In that quest, we are missing something, asymmetry is perfection as well. (Im)balance is a piece that speaks for that imperfect harmony, the one that reminds us: Sometimes losing balance, is part of having a balanced life.

(Im)perfect. Earrings. Silver with rose quartz and green venturine. When symmetry is conceived as the beauty entity, unrealistic parameters become the regulators of it. We have accepted this status quo, and as humans we have done everything to achieve it, even altering our physique in the most violent way, just because that´s the norm. (Im)perfect embraces the perfection of asymmetry, a statement that we, as humans, sometimes are afraid to accept. We need to evolve into more complex beings, bringing asymmetry to that formula, letting us exist by being im-perfects.

Yvs is created by REA

The Flow. Necklace. Silver and Tanzanita. He uses a movement as a starting point. These two pieces, like most of his work are made under the technique of direct modelling on the material. The Flow, the name of the set, places water, a natural element, as the central idea, the use of the curved line simulate the precise and continuous coming and going of the waves. His intention with these pieces is to explore from visual perception how it is possible to associate images and memories with our deep feelings.

The Flow. Ring. Silver and Tanzanita. He has used the technique that was originally used in the handmade basketry with vegetable fibres and he takes it to the metal in the form of threads. He has used the water element as a starting point. In this particular bowl-shaped piece, its structure is trying to catch water in a constant movement, wanting to escape like a wild sea. With the strength of its waves forming a whirlpool, showing the blue colour in the depths.

Dione. Ring. Yellow gold. Underwater world inspired Dione ring is named after a spirit of the sea, one of the thousand daughters of Oceanus, the god of the faraway seas in Greek mythology. There is some nostalgic longing for the distant and the unknown in its delicate wavy forms, reflecting the tranquil movement of water in the depths. The Dione ring is a grand, unique version based on the collection under the same name.

Dione. Earrings. Yellow gold. The aethereal beauty of the fairy-tale like underwater sceneries and all the fanciful shapes of the marine plants have been the source of inspiration for the Dione earrings. In their intriguingly undulating shape, you can see the gentle movement of water in the ocean floor vegetation, constant but always changing. The Dione earrings are a grand, unique version based on the collection under the same name.

Don’t try to resist to the overwhelming power of water: quite the contrary, abandon yourself to its seducing, reassuring, eternal force, letting feelings and sensations flow freely. And surrender to its ever changing flimsiness, like a mirror and a promise of transformation and rebirth. Rest and admire the absence of forms and colors, which leaves room for imagination - a fresh new palette, a fresh new world - daydreaming and forgetting all worries and uncertainties. A symbol of life since the dawn of time, water is a source of spirituality and refers to purity, adaptability, fertility. It’s the feminine element par excellence. Its essence is elusive and complex at the same time, made of single drops which form a whole you can’t do without but you can never really possess. A mystery. And a treasure chest.

Suffocated. Necklace. Quartz and silver. The gears of time are always moving and our lives are changing moment by moment as it passes. But in the meantime, there are wounds on our souls that take us back and we crumple bit by bit in the womb of the world as if we were swallowed. We find ourselves alone, immersed in a void reminding us of the lost peace of the embryonic period. Waiting for a new beginning and living in a new dream. Maybe this time the world will turn differently. Flow of life. Ring. Moss Agate. Life is always changing, sometimes the pressures of life and many bitter experiences make the sky ceiling of our dreams shorter day by day until we have no dreams left. The sky of our life becomes dark without finding a trace of stars. Sometimes, in a corner of this blackness, we hear the whispering sound of veins flowing from stones, trees, birds, rivers, etc., which reminds us that we are still alive.

Masturbation Earring. Silver. A kinetic jewellery piece featuring a hand, the fingers of which are gliding over a vulva’s clitoris. A hidden hinge allows for this movement, thus letting the earring “masturbate” on the ear of the wearer. Female masturbation is still a topic that is considered widely taboo, while female sexuality is often framed in relation to the pleasure of the man, in a heterosexual setting. This jewellery piece intends to celebrate female self-pleasure and sexual autonomy.

Ring #3. Silver, goldleaf, bleached cactus skeleton. With this ring I applied a more robust appearance of the metal. I have used the contrast fragile/robust. The fragile material is insufficiently protected to no longer be vulnerable. By using this more robust style, the material looks extra fragile. And to emphasize the fragile material, I filled the hollow with gold leaf, so it works a bit like a spotlight on the piece of cactus skeleton.

Faith, hope, love. Ring. Silver, dendritic agate stone. This unique Dendritic agate stone pattern inspired the calligraphic design of this silver ring. As if drawn with a light movement of divine brush, these ink drops remind of the three leaves of clover. Three inspiring words - Faith, Hope and Love, the calligrapher-jeweller has written in Old Slavonic script.

Love is patient. Brooch. Silver, quartz (Rock Crystal). Unique calligraphic brooch with words of love: “Armastus talub kõike” (‘Love is patient’ / ‘Love withstands all’, in Estonian) This small fragment is taken from the prayer 1 Corinthians 13. Three short and powerful words are braided in the Old Slavonic ligature. These words will support and give strength in difficult times; rock crystal resembles a cleansing tear that brings peace and tranquillity.

Alexander Ponomarev | Disturbing Beauty | New Zealand | @axelregush Infiltration. Ring. Silver, gold. This artwork is inspired by river potholes that have been found in an Alpine river on the South Island of New Zealand. A river pothole is a cylindrical, bowl-shaped, or irregular hollow that is formed in the rocky bed of a stream by either the grinding action of sediment whirled around by stream eddies or the force of fast flowing water. Handmade from 925 Sterling silver and 18k gold granules soldered drop by drop.

Artefact Mk2. Ring. Sterling Silver, Sapphire (Australian). The formation of a natural beauty begins when a foreign substance slips into the shell, which irritates the object. Vertigo. Ring. Silver, blue sapphire. Vertigo is the direct expression of natural motions whose trait runs through the processes of the unconscious. The spiral is moved by the balance between opposing forces, now order, now chaos. It is the exoskeleton of our alter-ego, a concrete manifestation of immaterial forces that generates an inverse light resulting from the flow of our thoughts. That light is a portal that puts us in contact with the most intimate part of ourselves.

Orrido. Ring. Silver. Orrido is inspired by the harshness of experience, by wild, sparse and inexplicable places. The antagonistic nature, stepmother, capable of arousing disturbance. But at the same time, in its throat, we are looking for a revelation, a mystery to unravel: the precipice. An unknown, calm and ancient place, guardian of a knowledge that we do not know, but that belongs to us and shapes us. It is the place of existence.

OO Ring. Silver, rhodium plating, diamonds. 925 silver, rhodium plating, diamonds. The ring is an exercise to imagine the movement of the ethereal, the possibilities of opening and transformation. The OO ring can be used in different ways depending from where it is accessed. This is a playful object which, through the entrances and exits, offers users different possibilities of wearing it. It invites its wearer to flow more dynamically in the face of eternal changes and to feel comfortable in the presence of indeterminate circumstances. Emerald Cave and Cloud. Ring. Silver, gold plating, sapphire and emeralds. 925 silver, gold plating, sapphire and emeralds. It arises from an investigation of textures through photography and touch, to develop the piece fire was used as the main tool on the wax, the constant contact of the fire on the matter was shaping textures. The resulting forms are birth, a boil suspended in time, a beginning turned into form. Which will eventually displace the cloud and cave landscape to the ring and finally to the body.

Mirror 12. Ring. Sterling silver, Quartz, pyrite and resin. Remember that time when you’ve seen your reflection in the water? Usually you pass over it quickly, like an overused image, an insignificant speck of the past. But what happens if you stop and actually look at that reflection? What would you see beyond the beauty of nature? Or maybe beyond its unpredictable character? Do you see shards of your broken self? Can you see a piece that you can say it is definitely you?

Mirror 13. Ring Sterling silver, Quartz, Pyrite and resin. Like a dew drop on a flower petal, I bring to the wearer, jewellery that has pieces of reflection. Remember to look at yourself. Reflection, first of all, is used for personal analysis. Nowadays we are always connected, in constant motion and we end up, without realizing it, hiding our eyes from the man in the mirror. The eyes are the doors to the soul and beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. We reflect, we see fear and we find inside the thread of light which protects us.

Stone Art Ring. Gold plated silver. From Stone Age Effect Collection. Collection launched in 2018. It is the reflection of the stone age effect to the present day in wearable form. The idea behind the design of the ring is that, it would have the effect of being made of real stone pieces, in a raw and somewhat rough appearance in primitive conditions. In order to capture this feeling, many different techniques have been used together. The final touch is to bring the ring to the present.

All-powerful SV ring. Silver. Like a plant, like an animal, like a liquid, like a gas... all of them, but none of them. The bold and unique shape that is full of dynamism is eye-catching, and it is a ring with a presence that expands the image in various ways. And, at the moment, it is the work that most expresses the basic theme and goal of my creation, “a world that harmonizes and coexists in a borderless manner” and “the ultimate form that contains everything that exists”.

Nelmare-Coral SV brooch. Silver. This brooch is inspired by the coral reefs, which are called the oasis of the sea and play an important role in enabling diverse organisms to coexist. Although the coral has a beauty that has already been

Red Sea Garden. Necklace. Silk. The sea, with its mirror surface hides beautiful gardens, unique landscapes, origin of life, which are currently under great threat. The sea gardens collection, based on patterns of underwater plants and organisms, honours these places and seeks to raise awareness about the risk of losing them. This necklace is woven in natural silk dyed with achiote, a very flexible and soft thread that builds living, moist and malleable surfaces. Its colour is reminiscent of the intensity of red coral.

White Sea Garden. Necklace. Silk. Sometimes the waves wash the marine gardens remained to shore. The sun, water and sand turn them into white objects, a beautiful natural process, very different from what happens today in many reefs, which get sick, lose their colours and die. This necklace is woven in natural silk, a tough and smooth thread that weaves a texture of sand, white, like those vestiges of underwater gardens that we find by the sea and like the colour that the dying reef gets.

Riven. Brooch. Fine silver, sterling silver, resin. Your body suffocates from the inside as if you were drowning. Pain strikes around the chest, and you begin to scratch your skin. Your fingers grip your flesh as you tear your chest into two, trying to remove whatever is inside. A clear plastic matter bursts out, glistening in the light. Covered in black oil-like liquids, it floods out, dripping all over your deteriorating body. The plastic matter continues to disperse itself into the surrounding environment.

Mange. Ring. Sterling silver, resin. A tingle on your fingertips. You take a closer look and notice a silver object wrapped around your finger. The delicate translucent matter is made of plastic. A pink fluorescent matter creates a spread that slowly moves up towards your arm. Consuming. Unknowingly it has been paralyzing you. Almost like something from another world. Resembling a parasite infecting the host and stealing its nutrients.

The fossil is cut through the middle, in order to display the spectacular inside showing the Fibonacci Spiral. Alongside, I have used the mystery of the tiny shells, to bring up the sea’s untold stories. It also becomes a bond that never separates when two persons choose a colour. As a proof of happiness, as a proof of oath. And it becomes a unique existence.

Go With The Flow. Necklace. Polymer clay, pearls, ribbon, UV resin. Go With The Flow is inspired by the ocean, the movement, the depth and the force of each wave as it breaks on the sandy beach. The softness of the pearls with the chocker aspect of the necklace is a delicate balance of power and femininity. The subtle hues of turquoise and blue contrasting with the gradient of beige and white remind us all the beauty that the sea offers. Beautiful white and cream pearls add the finishing touch to this piece.

Sappho’s Prayer. Ring. Gold and silver. A piece that features the artist’s signature use of miniature figurines, capturing a moment of sexual intimacy between two women. It is named as an homage to the ancient Greek poet Sappho, history’s first acknowledged lesbian. One woman is kneeling on the finger of the wearer, tending to the other woman who is lying on the ring - in this, the kneeling woman’s motion is reminiscent of kneeling down for prayer. A tribute to the sacredness of queer sexuality, a celebration of women loving women.

Acque Stellate. Necklace. White gold, aquamarine cabochon, untreated Tahitian pearl, blue sapphires, aquamarines, diamonds and blue topaz briolettes. Water, and the creatures that live in it, have inspired many of our jewelry creations. Our waterfall necklace, Acque Stellate, is made in 18K white gold. Faceted sapphires, aquamarines, and diamonds, set in donut settings, are spread like stars on chains that spiral down to the jellyfish-like centerpiece. Tiny engraved white gold cylinders add a touch of light. A cascade of chains featuring three briolette-cut topazes flows through a cornucopia and descends alongside the aquamarine. The Cycle of Water. Earrings. White gold, untreated Tahitian pearls, aquamarines, diamonds. Arctic ice evaporates and forms clouds. These clouds are carried to warmer regions by the wind. Here, they release their charge on the ocean where fauna and flora thrive. The cycle of water is the concept of these earrings in 18K white gold. Let your eyes follow the coral branch to the lustrous

Tahitian pearl whose softness is juxtaposed by icy, hexagonal, and triangle shaped aquamarines, and tiny diamonds added for a touch of light. Finally, your eyes rest on the aquamarine raindrops.

Wind that brings them together. Pendant. Moontopia Collection. Silver and gold. Sun and Moon silver pendant and a splash of gold. This piece is inspired by a morning windy sky when I saw the sun and moon together. In my imagination it was the wind that brought them together, like an unseen force. It’s all about love, a divine energy that connects us all and transcends space and time. In this morning, the two cosmic stars chose to be one next to each other.

At the beginning of time. Ring. Genesis collection. Silver, copper, brass, raw rough uncut blue diamond. It is all about transformation. From the beginning till the end. Darkness and light, silence and noise. Everything is transformed, shaped. I used different metals and different techniques in searching for the best result to depict my idea of Creation and the beginning of time. The blue raw uncut diamond symbolises the life, the energy that brought us here, the light that drops on a dew drop. The metals combined form the Universe.

Vite di Asclepio. Necklace. Silver, copper and gold. According to a Greek myth, Asclepius healed Hercules from his wounds and raised Hippolytus from the dead. It was a snake that brought him the miraculous herb which was used to resurrect the son of Theseus. This provoked the wrath of Hades, god of the underworld and Zeus, who punished the daring physician by killing him with lightning. The use of the Rod of Asclepius as a symbol of the medical profession arises from this myth, while the snake is a symbol of cyclicality and healing.

Elenora. Necklace. Swarovski crystals, glass pearls, leather, silver. My design already starts with her name ‘Elenora’, which means shining light. My favourite stones to work with are ‘Swarovski’. Crystals, crystal black Patina. Each stone, each pearl is put on by hand, piece by piece. Made with so much passion. When the light falls on it, it’s magic. That is what I like with crystal. I made it especially for ‘the jewellery week in Milan’ just because once in a while you deserve to feel just that little bit more. Shine like a diamond. Feel like a Princess.

Gaia. Brooch. Swarovski crystals, Gold platted, leather. Just like the earth ‘round’. I made it with the gorgeous Swarovski stones. The spike crystals are high pointed and adds a lot of dept in this design, which makes the brioche stand out.The crystal black patina stones are so detailed. I love making brooches, different shapes and colours. Sometimes it is all you need to sparkle. That final touch to finish your outfit. Be a little bit more. Be Gold.

Thorn brass knuckles. Other. Silver, zirconium oxides and rhodium plated. Brass knuckles ring in silver 925 and zirconium oxides. This model is the expression of a rose stem with its thorns and stones represent the path of sap, symbol of life. Here we return its letters of nobility to the thorns. Symbol of danger and protection of the preciousness here the thorn invites the interlocutors to pay attention to the hand which carries the jewel. And for good reason, on the inside of the ring, a row of spikes protects the inside of the hand.

Halo. Ring. Silver and rhodium plated. The Halo ring, made of 925 silver and plated with rhodium. In an extremely pure design, mounted on a half-rimmed wire ring body, it expresses roundness and sensuality. It will correspond to temperaments in search of perfection and which bloom in the simple pleasures. The simple shape of the halo evokes continuity, the virtuous cycle of the optimists. One can also see in it the evocation of the order, the cycle.

Sedimenti. Ring. Yellow bronze. Sedimenti is a yellow bronze ring with baroque pearls created with the lost wax technique. It was born from the idea of the passage of time measured by the slow movement of sea water which, over the millennia, smooths and covers rocks and shells, forming unique and ever-changing figures. The sediments thus become an added value, as in the case of the experiences that over time shape people and their feelings.

Mangrovia. Bracelet. Yellow Bronze. Mangrovia is a yellow bronze bracelet with amethyst, garnet, citrine, pink tourmaline and peridot, created with the lost wax technique. The inspiration comes from the shapes of the gnarled aerial roots of the mangrove which, unable to go deep to feed, have adapted to survive by “hovering” and drawing everything they need from the surrounding air.

“The moment without gravity No.5.” Necklace. Silver. The jewellery conveys a sense of weightlessness, of floating without direction, just like today’s society floats in a mind of its own, transcends time and space weightlessly without gravity. The lack of weight is captured in jewellery, immortalizing the way our conscience changes throughout life and time. The jewellery represents the uniqueness that can be achieved in a weightless state. The happiness felt after such a process is truly unique to every individual, just like the memory of each piece of jewellery itself. “The moment without gravity No.6.” Ring. Silver. Life is always accompanied by wanting to be alone, longing to be accepted and worrying about going with the flow, virtually full of contradictions of many problems and dilemmas. The invisible ribbon connecting our relationships has become an inescapable emotional blackmail, bearing the fetters and seeing-saw of the bound emotions, affecting our decisions on people and things, just to avoid the rupture and brokenness of relationships. It also binds the possibility of self-sufficiency and autonomy in relation to one another.

Poppy King - Ring - 925 silver. The “Poppy King” is a ring from the “The Garden of the Mountain Spirit” collection, in which everyday plants and animals meet fantastical creatures in an enchanted land. The scene, which shows a bumblebee visiting the poppy king, takes us into the realm of magic, fairytales and dreams. The individual elements, made of silver in the lost wax method, had been decorated

with filigree and granulation, and finally delicately plated with green and yellow gold and black rhodium, creating depth and emphasizing the composition. Moth and Ivy - Brooch-necklace - 925 silver. “The Garden of the Mountain Spirit” is a jewellery collection that brings you to the world of magical flora and fauna. The necklace brooch  can be worn in infinite configurations, since, just like in nature, the moth can land on various spots on the ivy, as well as rest nearby. Having wings with fish fin features, it can also inhabit mountain streams and ponds. Meticulously sculpted details of the moth in addition to leaves executed using the lost wax method give this piece of jewelry a unique, life-like effect.

Omaggio a Rothko. Brooch. Ebony, silver, gold leaf, pearl. The inspiration for the creation of this brooch, comes, as for most of his jewels, from nature that with “simplicity” makes every expression unique. He also wanted to pay homage to one of his favourite artists: Mark Rothko who inserts a horizontal line in many of his works, perhaps because he noticed it in the ancient frescoes of Pompei, source of inspiration for him. The jewel is easy to wear.

Gli opposti. Earrings. Silver, white gold, diamonds, ebony. The earrings are conceived as if they were a pair of cuff links, similar but not identical. Each one with their own personality, capable, despite their shape being identical, of transmitting opposite sensations even on a tactile level. Kamome. Necklace. Brass, copper and silver. I imagined a crowd of seagulls flying home against the background of a sunset. This necklace is made of brass and copper. It conveys the perspective and the sense of flying seagulls spaced with 0.5 mm brass wire. In addition, it has movement by combining the rings. I used a mallet on the necklace and formed it to make each pattern look like a seagull. This necklace was nominated for the 31th JAPAN JEWELLERY COMPETITION in 2020.

Matsu. Necklace. Brass, copper and silver. This necklace was inspired from a 200 yearold pine tree. The pine tree is said to represent Gods spirit dwelling in it and it is very auspicious in Japan. The design is based upon an image of a delicate and intricate branches that spread out on the skin of the trunk. It appears to resemble a dragon moving toward the sky. The trunk and branches can be removed. This necklace was nominated for the 32th JAPAN JEWELLERY COMPETITION in 2022.

Mountain of Memory_series 5-1 / Earring / Gold, oxidised silver.

[ A huge landscape in a piece of jewellery - poetic and intense]

EUNOK moves mountains from her memory into earring. Mountain forms are created with unique metal surface techniques and volumes, blending with the emptiness of their surroundings to form a landscape that changes with every single angles. It stands out that the topographical characteristics are visually produced using the keum-boo technique.

Mountain of Memory_series 6 / Brooch / Sterling silver, stainless steel.

[ A quiet landscape panorama emerges ]

EUNOK’s ‘Mountain of Memory_series 6’ Brooch made of silver creates different landscapes depending on the viewing angle. Each of the four sides of the mountain is seen on each of the four side surfaces. It is a fusion of lines and surfaces, which reminds of space and volume. This is the process that EUNOK explores and communicates. You can look down on the skyline when wearing a brooch.

The Portico Earring. Gold plated recycled sterling silver with freshwater baroque pearls. Inspired by the gates of the Old City of Jerusalem, The Portico Earring is an ode to the ancient times and its ruins. Its upper structure was designed as an arch, followed by two square shapes that swing like entrance and exit doors, all supported by solid but also delicate baroque pearls. The imperfect shapes and textures were carved as a way of representing the action of time, which is corrosive, beautiful and also unique.

The Méduse Earring. Gold plated recycled sterling silver. The Méduse Earring was designed by imagining how it would look if it had been found in an excavation site at the ruins of an ancient city. The upper structure’s crumpled and imperfect forms borrow the shapes of rocks and the rectangular ornamented piece along with the linearity of the chains recall antique columns. While being dressed, as the body naturally moves, it also refers to the mythological figure of the Méduse.

Armonia. Ring. Bronze and glass. The themeof the “ARMONIA” collection is the balance of nature made of contrasts. The bronze ring and bracelet have the solid structure of a branch that climbs onto the wearer’s body like a second skin. The flower and the leaves have been represented with glass which, by giving off light, makes the jewel more gentle and precious. The choice of colour is inspired by the

shades of the sea, the most similar element due to its proximity to the goldsmith shop where it was made.

Armonia. Bracelet. Bronze and glass. Jewel created on a freehand drawing and then modelled in wax, always manually. Made with the lost wax casting technique, both the bronze structure and the glass details. For glass, more cooking is required, in order to be able to pour it at about 1000 degrees, and various cooling passages. Inspired by the force of nature. The lightness and delicacy of the glass contrasts with the hardness of the bronze, balancing and creating a perfect harmony.

Water Circulates. Other. Silver. This handwear, which is worn to cover the hands, is an image of the water that circulates within the body. He has long been raised in a city with abundant underground water sources. We cannot see the water circulating inside our bodies or the water circulating underground, but we are reminded that our lives and culture are based on this abundant water.Often times he creates his work with the inspiration of the city, and this jewelery is one of them.

Symbiosis. Bangle. Silver. A lot of culture in Kyoto coexists with nature, and its appearance gives us a lot of inspiration. The light of Kyoto’s culture, which can be seen near the riverside, attracts many people. We must protect this rare place by keeping the light of culture alive and preserving the natural environment. The beauty of this symbiosis is expressed through the use of a metal expression reminiscent of the surface of water made with casting technology and silver leaf made by Kyoto traditional craftsmen.

Kirin. Ring. Silver. Kirin, a legendary beast introduced to Japan from China, is said to have a personality that does not like killing. What we should always seek is peace, and since ancient times people have worn jewelry with such a wish. And many cultures are based on peace. He believes that the spirit of the Kirin is now required for us humans to continue to create. By using red and blue silver leaf made by Kyoto traditional craftsmen, we expressed the appearance of spiritual beasts.

The silver branches bring light to the piece, like the sun piercing through the trees.

Tierra. Ring. Silver, pyrite. Rough, unexpected, improvised, natural. Nowadays we live in a society that it’s obsessed with perfection. As individuals we have a routine and a path that we’re forced to follow. The main purpose of this piece is to remind us the existing and remarkable beauty of nature and its unique characteristics. In the process of making this double-ring the goal was to create a beautiful piece without a drawing or any instructions at all, every detail will be appearing in the moment.

Raíces. Other. Tumbaga. Our lives, our path. There’s no better way to describe this piece than that sentence. The piece itself is a reflection of the life of each one, since the way that starts all coordinated and guided by our parents, till that one twist and turn that represents our first life-changing decision. Throughout our lives we meet a lot of people, we make decisions, and all of that make a direct impact in ourselves, makes us a whole and who we are.

Morning Dew. Necklace. Silver, gold plate, 14kgf, Tanzanite. The gemstone is given the role of a drop of water running down a branch or leaf. The asymmetrical composition of the branch motif creates a sense of dynamism, which expresses the strength and rebirth that life possesses. The transparency and color of the

Earth 142

gemstones provide a complementary commentary on the expression of the base plant itself. The choice of tanzanite as the gemstone for the drops expresses the hue of water that seems to reflect the blue of the sky just before dawn.

Artemis. Necklace. 18KYG, Citrine, Tanzanite, Sapphire, Ametyst, Kyanite. The theme of this piece is the moon and moonlight. The contrasting design of the left and right sides of the piece creates a sense of stability and allows the main gemstone to stand out. The gradation of colors spreading from the citrine in the center expresses a fantastic moonlight scene, like an abstract painting. The inclusion of laurel as a part of the gemstone joints adds dignity, elegance, and a sense of narrative to the piece, much like the gods in Greek mythology.

Eden. Pendant. 18KYG, Scorolite. This work is inspired by a paradise landscape. The gemstone is given the role of water, which represents abundance, and a small bird is depicted coming to drink it. The reverse side of the work also depicts a scene of paradise, but only one little bird can be seen from the surface, and we cannot peek into all of its bountiful scenery. This is an indication that the essence of abundance is always multifaceted, and that the whole picture can never be captured by looking at only one aspect of it.

Wasa. Pendant. Copper, brass, silver, oxidation patina. The bottom of the sea is full of treasures and, if we really do not find them, we can imagine them! While snorkelling, I have often fantasized about different metal objects lying on the bottom of the sea ... what if they were pieces of ancient submerged ships? Broken metal sheets, rusty nails and oxidized pipes become the inspiration for my line

which, in fact, is called “submerged wrecks”. I enjoyed assembling different metals and playing with the oxidation patina, giving rise to unique works.

Pinta. Bracelet. Copper, brass, silver, oxidation patina. What you need: Copper, brass, pure silver, pieces of silver chains. Execution: Cut, tear, drill, hammer, juxtapose, re-juxtapose to see if the conceived composition is better, otherwise measure the balance and proportions, add the extra touch and finally weld. Give stability to an idea, to a dream. This is how the “submerged wrecks” were born, subsequently ennobled and embellished by the oxidation patina, unpredictable and never the same.

‘Living’-Air Plants Holder Brooch. Silver, air plants. Rewilding Rewilding the cities, the core concept of the collection then, sees the body as a building, with wild plants growing in spirals on the body, and jewellery as the medium by which a bridge between the human body and nature is built, creating a connection of natural vitality. In the ‘living‘ brooch, a flower is shaped into a container for plants, so that it acts as a universe upon itself, but when void of plant-life, becomes a metal flower.

‘Seeding’-Ear-Cuffs. Bass plated silver, grass seeds. In the ‘seeding’ ear cuff, the main idea is seeding the city with grass, as each of the ear cuffs contains a ‘flower ovary’ as a hollow ball, with holes, that contains grass seed so that the seeds fall out intermittently when people are walking the street, making a statement of the need to green cities. This focus has pushed her imagination to create ready-to-wear jewellery, allowing the wearer to broadcast their own vision of a greener world.

24 Hours Earrings pays homage to the years that the designer, Gab Rodrigues spent working in the flight control tower of a big airport back in Brazil. There she witnessed beautiful sunrises and the most colorful sunsets. These colors are represented by precious gemstones such as diamonds, saphires, rubis, amesthyst,

citrines, carefully set, revealing a gradient inspired by the sunlight, from dawn to dusk. The piece is made by talented hands from Brazil, in 18k gold.

24 Hours Twisted Ring. Gold, diamonds, citrines, saphires, amethysts, rubis. Full finger ring with a twisted articulated design that wraps the finger and follows all its movements ina very confortable way. Sparkling Water. Bangle. Silver and gold. Silver bangle with 18ct gold detail. This heavily textured bangle is an individual and handmade piece, which reflects the sparkle of sunlight on water with its circles and rills, sprinkles and waves. There is no solder involved in the making as all additions are fused on. The whole is oxidised and then polished to remove most of the colour and bring back the high polish of the silver. The back is left open to accommodate different sizes.

Northern Lights. Bangle. Silver and gold. This handmade silver bangle with 18ct gold detail was inspired by my visit to Norway earlier this year to see the Northern Lights. They move and swirl constantly as the air moves around us. The gold wires that are fused on highlight the movement and the textured background surface is reminiscent of the night sky. The whole is oxidised and polished to remove most of the colour and bring back the high polish of the silver. The back is left open to accommodate different sizes.

Mandible. Other. Wire, pearl beads, glass, rocks. This piece is made with recycled and vintage pearls, broken syrup jars and some rocks found on the beaches of Monterosso, Liguria. This piece focuses on her interest in anatomy stemming from her studies in anthropology and the perfection of broken glass that may never fully heal but will have a new life. Sculpted to her own mandible, which is naturally a bit pointy, to showcase how to accentuate her facial structure. Spider. Other. Pearl beads, recycled fabric, wire, chain. As her first experiment with spiders, she designed these to fit her beloved Maison Margiela Tabi boots. She has always loved spiders, as they are extremely essential to our ecosystem. These spiders, a variation shown in the photo, are personally embroidered and feature a few themes. Hidden in her web, the spider falls from her pearl and shines, regardless of where she is conceals herself. The second spider chains herself to the shoe, hoping no one can whisk her and her web away.

Quetzacoalt. Necklace. Silver. The name literally translates as “Feathered Serpent”. He was the most powerful god in Mexico. This deity represents the duality between the physical condition of man, due to his serpent body, and his spiritual part, due to his feathers. From my feeling, this necklace is a tribute to those who know how to unite the earth and the sky and represents, likewise, where we come from: the Earth. And where we must go, an elevated state of consciousness represented by Heaven. Dragon Rocks. Bracelet. Silver. It represents struggle, strength, and is seen as a guardian who helps maintain the order that leads to the beginning of a universe, or the discovery of a sacred place. From there my voice is expressed through this piece: What are you for in life? Who are you really? How can you become yourself? Transcend the barriers that prevent you from being free to become who you really are. Return to your Origin. Flow with Life. Love without conditions. Back to the Moment.

Aqua. Necklace. Argento, micromosaico, topazia. One of the four scenarios: Water. An element full of power, primal strength. It can be devastating, it can be delightful. The shape of my necklace is inspired by the “Great Wave” of Hokusai, but I wanted to present this element in a different way: as a formidable power, a miracle of nature, a whole range of colours contained in a rather “limited” palette. Sometimes there is a wave in each of us that can carry us, both destroy or create new values, opening up a new perspectives.

Terra. Necklace. Argento, micromosaico, agate. Another of four scenarios: Earth. Our planet, but also the basis of everything. It is said that we keep our feet on the ground. Each of us has their own place here, we are part of this planet. We live according to its principles, at the same time creating our surroundings, changing them, sometimes destroying them. Fortunately they still surprise us with their beauty, delights and inspires us. The Earth is a symbol of fertility, the embodiment of the richness of life, forms, phenomena, colours, species.

Close to Each. Ring. Silver. Being close to each other makes a peaceful world. To be close to someone truly, we need to think about what he or she desires instead of not just doing what we think is good for them egoistically. Through this jewellery having the design fitted with fingers softly, you remember your kindness and the feeling close to someone. The garden quartz will clear your mind and make you feel the tenderness of the great nature. For seeking the world that people are considered each other.

Yin and Yang. Necklace. Silver. We live the world having both happiness and unhappiness, or light and shadow. We need them both for cultivating our lives, as light births shadow and shadow births light. The difference in texture between the front and the back of the design shows yin and yang or light and shadow. One day you may like the front side, but the other day you may like the back side. Talking with the jewellery, you can find who you are and what you seek. Live with the both sides of yin and yang.

Mediterraneo. Ring. Silver. The inspiration for this collection stems from a journey through the Mediterranean Sea, its cliffs, its blue-turquoise colors and its depth. The naturalness of its coasts in contrast to the ferocity of its reliefs, envelops us in sensations of freedom, which together with the controlled fire technique allow us to achieve harmony between the stone and the mixture of nuances of the materials. A delicate and deep selection, soft and passionate at the same time. Like the sea carried by those who choose to wear this piece. Mediterraneo. Ring. Silver. When he talks about the freedom in the creation of this collection, he must inevitably focuses on the aforementioned technique of controlled fire, which made it possible for the design to arise from the direct intervention in the metal, taking the pattern of the stone as a starting point. (turquoise with pyrite from Iran) with the purpose of integrating it into the final set in a totally organic way and being able to achieve this unique piece in 925 silver.

L’attesa di Siremà. Necklace. Silver and blue topazes. Inspired by the ancestral figure of the Siren, founding myth of the city of Naples, Siremà has a characteristic that makes it unique: it is an eternally pregnant mermaid, in perpetual expectation. The Siremà line therefore wants to enhance the power of women, which is given by their ability to create, whether they are mothers or not. The whole city then becomes a mother, capable of generating and dreaming of the future, and this contains the underlying message, full of hope.

Lo scalmo. Ring. Gold plated silver, with blue topazes. A tribute to the sea and adventures, this ring reproduces an oarlock for fingers that become oars, ready to decide the route of a journey, between gentle waves and thunderous storms, sailing towards unknown destinations, magical places and ports where you can catch your breath and then return to explore life. The open and airy line wrapping without, however, closing the loop, suggests infinite possibilities, as are the waves that a boat has to sail to reach its destination.

The only element in which nothing can live. Fire evokes the deepest, most intimate and primal part of every human being. A magical, bright concoction that hypnotises and envelops body and soul in a swirl of passion. Elementary particles that can lead you to a realm of absolute sin. A state in which the senses can be unrestrainedly lost, crossing the threshold of pleasure to feed on the soul. Fire is eternal energy that blazes, turns into overwhelming emotion, shimmies, captures and propels towards amazing destinations. Unregulated and timeless. Intelligence, creativity and intrigue are embodied in this element so dear to Prometheus who, precisely with fire, infused the divine part in man.

Ring Raw gems 1561. Silver, concrete, crystal, tourmaline verdelit. To bring out the beauty of raw stone, the Raw gems collection was created. It is like when a stone flies and falls into a shallow stream. Suddenly, I am tempted to pick it up and discover what has been hidden in the sand. Sometimes the beauty against the sun is almost urgently joyful. The stones of this ring reveal the secret of the heavenly battle that took place on 14.4. 1561 in Nuremberg. I see in it a message that refers me to the essence of life, to love and peace. April 14th, I was born.

Earrings Objects. Silver, concrete. Objects is a jewellery collection full of fruits from the hands of plants, trees, and humans. Everything that blossoms can also ripen and is full of beauty and sweet fragrance. This journey runs according to the rhythm of life in its highest principle through the whole universe, which we can’t control, which we can look at with wonder and with a feeling of a wish fulfilled –inhale… exhale… It is a time of rest, a time of sowing and a time of harvest. Bracelet Architecture. Silver, concrete, glass, tourmaline verdelit, citrine, amethyst, rubelit. Architecture is a collection of jewellery linking the journey from the old beech forest to the heart of the city and back. It is a walk through trees, meadows, ponds, along the river to the café by the Charles Bridge, to the Kampa Theatre, to the Rudolfinum. Everywhere there I feel the essence of love and inspiration of nature for my decision, what I create and who I am. As the sun recedes, I look at the open space of the dialogue of desire and life. I am at home in all these places.

How to hold time with a keepsake How to mark a time with a statement How to identify a time with a symbol SOUVENIR#1, a forgotten jewel Designed like an amphora, the jewel is both a souvenir box and a souvenir. The eroded texture evokes an object forgotten and worn out in the sea. The memory between oblivion and conservation: a relic, a forgotten treasure.

Desasón. Other. Wire, silicon, paint. Two and a half years ago, when the unprecedented pandemic began, I came up with the idea for this work. The concept is to wear a mask to protect yourself from the virus, but when you think that the virus is spreading everywhere, you are worried that it will reach your heart. The materials are wire, silicon and paint. The size is 30x16x10cm. While knitting with wire and twisting again, I made the shape of the virus and spread it in the shape of a mask.

Leo Ring. Gold, rubellite. The facial expression of lion fascinates designers very much, “it has a fierce look, that fierce for me represents anger, but what is there behind the anger?” It results of thinking, to express this emotion. The designer turned it into a floating ribbon, and then let them swim away, as if a lot of thoughts started to intertwine rapidly, quickly colliding with each other, and finally gathering into an expression of anger.

Castle Ring. Gold, rubellite. The structure of the Castle ring, bricks matched in lines, heavy roofs and oval windows represent a steady and stable situation. But in the contrary red and shining Rubilite and the golden ring itself is so wild and the eye catches what broke this balance. The designer wants to reflect the contradiction of people’s psychics, which is steady as demanded by society, but also a passionate individual inside.

This brooch highlights that fleeting moment when bodies come together. It symbolises that spark that leads to passion. This jewel gives us a glimpse of this couple giving each other a tender kiss. Carlos. Ring. Silver, Beaten Gold, Tahitian Pearl. The Artist created the ring taking inspiration by a hen that hatches golden eggs. Its name is Carlos, a hen born and raised in Mami’s home. Just like any person who has tousled hair in the morning, Carlos has the same issue with one of her feathers. While this is funny, Carlos shines in seven different colours when the light hits it. Mami used gold to express Carlos’ beauty and her precious eggs.

La Vita. Necklace. Silver, Gold, Garnet. This Jewel is a way to Mami’s steps of the last 20 years between Japan and Switzerland. The cut out base can be divided into two parts: the lower one represents the geography of her native country, while the upper one shows the place where she lives today. The overlaid squares symbolise life, while each step represents conflicts and satisfactions. Moving step by step, the artist finds herself at the top, where a stone shines bright.

Rings animalistic composition. Ring. Silver and enamelling. 3- finger rings composition. The whole “SAGA” collection is inspired by the ancient Scythian animalistic style. She was trying to repeat the main motives but to show them in a new interpretation. 3 - finger ring is a composition that represents a fantastic animal in a typical Scythian-style pose, somewhat reminiscent of the letter “S”: bent head and tail with legs. For more comfortable wearing she divided the shape into 2 separate rings connected composition.

Big Dragon ring. Silver and enamelling. The big dragon ring is also a part of the “SAGA” collection. The form is a reminder of a dragon tail which curls around the finger. According to Herodotus, there is a legend about the origin of the Scythians from Hercules and a half-snake woman. The Scythians imagined themselves to be the descendants of the dragon-serpent and had numerous images of snakes, dragons, and griffins. The dragon represented power, wisdom, and a dual nature: chaotic and conscious in one being.

I’m All Ears No.1. Other. Copper, black spray, brass tube. A mask, with pierced repetitive ear motifs surrounding the mouth made with copper and black spray paint, connected with 2 elastic ear loops made with brass tubes. I see my pieces as narrative jewelry. They themselves are speaking objects, which make communication without words become possible. With this in mind, this piece was created to articulate the Chinese proverb: “There are always ears on the other side of the wall.”

I’m All Ears No.2.Earrings. Copper, red glass beads. An earring made with copper and red glass beads. “I’m all ears,” is a collection where the pieces create an interaction between the jewelry and audience. Each earring was affixed to the wall in a recessed display with stretchy plastic. When the audience tried them on, they had to get close to the wall. The gesture of listening carefully is shown automatically, to help contemplate the meaning of “I’m all ears.” This way, people can appreciate the jewelry and a thoughtful adage simultaneously.

Shell Necklace. Gold, diamond, aquamarine, natural seashell. From a memory encapsulating collection inspired by a seaside fishing trip to Guangzhou Nansha beach, the first family trip taken since the pandemic. The shells are a memento, using precious materials and wax engraving to cherish this memory of the natural world. The necklace merges a natural seashell with 18ct molten gold, carved around the shell in a design reminiscent of a broken fishing net. The shaping of the rope entwined with the shell is inspired by the movement of catching fish. Shell Earrings. Gold, diamond, white sapphire, natural seashell. But the colour of copper is not fit in my project, I patinaed the necklace to make it black and then used the goldleafing technique to delight the whole necklace.

Format of Alchemy IV. Brooch. Copper, Silver, Stainless Steel. This piece was actually an accident. I was trying to cast a piece and planned to make another jewellery piece but as the centrifuge was not balanced, some melted silver was thrown out. However, the thrown-out piece looked very interesting, so I combined it with another electroforming piece and made a brooch. Surprisingly, it turned out great. This time, I kept the original copper colour because I think it fit this project.

Lunita. Ring. White and yellow gold. The Lunita Ring paints a picture of a fantastic celestial creature. Featuring a familiar anthropomorphic representation of our satellite. The face of the moon was carved to appear as a dozy character from a dreamlike world. Reminding us of the beloved figures in our childhood, when we allowed our imagination to travel to mystical places without questioning their tangibility in the real world.

Sustento. Ring. White and yellow gold. A composition of two contrasting boob rings. The figures were carved not to appear as the depiction of a perfect torso. Instead they portray movement and irregularity, as if they were seamlessly swimming in the surface of the ring. The inside reveals hand engraved scribbles referencing the natural patterns of soil. Sustaining life in a cyclical way and holding the footprints of those that come before us.

Big Coral. Ring. Silver. During a sailing trip which lasted a couple of months, I was able to create a deep connection with the ocean. Corals, organisms for which I have always felt a special attraction, inspired me to create the series “Corals”. For me, it is a way of immortalizing these organisms, as well as a reminder of the urgency to preserve them, a must in today’s world. BIG CORAL is one of the pieces of this collection.

Brilliant Bracelet. Silver and zirconiums. Handmade bracelet in 925 silver made even more precious thanks to zirconiums. The technique used is the lost wax technique. The piece, and the entire collection is dedicated to women, bold women who want to accentuate their beauty with a unique jewel inspired by the stars and their position which, if studied and interpreted, make the night sky a special place full of light.

Raíz. Necklace. Recycled aluminium, silver, labradorite. Necklace in recycled aluminium, a very light metal that allows you to create large volumes with minimal weight. The upper part of the necklace resting on the shoulders identifies a mass that clings to the human body as if to take your breath away, as if to become one. The spine symbolizes stability, our roots (the earth), where we come from and what we are made of. The earth gives, the earth takes away. Bones are our eternal homage, our diamond to our mother Earth Raíz. Bracelet. Recycled aluminium. The bracelet is connected to the necklace. Here, too, these roots tangle around the wrist or arm almost (metaphorically) to make it impossible for us to move. We are stuck not to make other mistakes, like the words of a mother who does not want us to make other mistakes or get hurt. Almost like a lesson in stillness and reflection. Thinking before acting.

Tatiana Ponizovskaya | Beast on the palm of your hand | UK | @a.living.thing.jewel Akata. Ring. Silver, garnet. Akata is a massive blunt shape, undefined if looked down at. But from the side, it reveals a hiding predator, ambiguous enough to morph into different creatures. The geometry of the ring merges with textures of engravings and flows into the sculpted teeth and the insides of the beast’s mouth. A light patina enhances the details on it and brings out the inner darkness of a creature you have to aid you.

Kura. Ring. Silver, sapphire, freshwater pearl. Kura is an organic intervention of madness in an orderly everyday way of things. The sharp lines and geometry of a hyena’s head are interrupted by realistically sculptured teeth and a tongue in its mouth. A patina on the ring is an ever-changing colour that naturally shifts from yellows to browns to blacks, as the fur of a hyena would. This ring is frothing at the mouth with freshwater pearls. Textures and details are a reminder that you are putting your finger into a mouth of a rabid animal.

A little bird told me. Ring, sterling silver, yellow and rose gold. This is a sculptural ring made of cast pieces. The cast pieces are from a poppy, coral, a carved bird, legs and gold shoes. The ring oxidized sterling silver. One bird has 18k yellow gold shoes and the other has 14k rose gold shoes. Their necklaces are 18k gold. The dimensions are 54 x 26 x 23mm. The ring is a size EU size 57. This ring was created from the artist love of watching birds interact. Bird with heels earrings. Oxidized sterling silver, gold. These are earrings created from Ann Marie’s love of watching birds walk on the beach and her love of fashion. They are made from oxidized sterling silver, 18k gold shoes and 14k gold necklaces. The ear wire is 18k gold and there is a safety hook in the back to lock the earring when it’s on. The birds are 18 x 18 x 5mm. They have a subtle sense of humour along with whimsy attitude. These are her signature pieces.

The hand that provides Solace II. Necklace. Silver. The new work of 2022, “The Hand that Provides Solace I,” holds the image of a blooming flower. The necklace drapes from neck to chest with numerous hands, creating the shape of soft flower petals. It conveys the artist’s hope of delivering solace to the wearer’s heart. The artist’s delicate work method can be noticed in her work wherein she used selfcreated wax from beeswax for the prototype and completed using precision casting.

The hand that provides Solace II. Bracelet. Silver. The theme of Kim’s works exhibited at the Milano Jewelry Week is “The Hand that Provides Solace.” One’s hands embrace a myriad of expressions and stories. At times, its gestures of warmth deliver comfort beyond words. The pandemic that began in 2020 left many people in fear, pain, and even the sorrow of separation from loved ones. In midst of this hardship, Kim’s work delivers a warm comfort on behalf of the touch that cannot be reached directly.

Toothpaste Ring. Sterling silver, enamel. This ring is a sterling silver toothpaste tube that wraps around your finger. Toothpaste is associated with many positive things like freshness,

good dental hygiene, vibrant colours and self improvement. It is the start to everyone’s morning all around the globe. Ideally we begin and end our day using toothpaste. It is like a bookend to our waking life, an essential part of our daily rituals that reinforces self love and personal discipline. 9/10 dentists love this ring.

Skinny Dip Ring. Sterling silver, resin, enamel. This is a ring reminiscent of a refreshing pool on a hot summer’s day. The concept aims to capture the iconic elements of the pool experience: the sleek ladder, the refreshing blue toned water, colourful floor tiles and of course, the diving board. The swimming pool is the quintessential summer backdrop, a place we go to unwind and celebrate. No matter what time of year, put this ring on your finger and experience a small slice of paradise.

Constelación Coahuila I. Necklace. Recycled brass, recycled copper, amethysts, traditional wool. Coahuilian sarape textile. The cloudless skies of the Mexican Coahuila state in their first moments of the night generate incomparable desert hues. The range of colours on the wool Sarape textile represent this. The first constellations appearing on the night sky are represented with the main articulated components. The warmth of the desert and its glow are recalled by the recycled brass and copper. Amethyst stones reflect the evening colours. An abstraction of shapes in traditional sarapes is also in play.

The Conspicua Cuff . Bracelet. Recycled hdpe plastic, abs plastic, silver. While in the midst of a heartwrecking pandemic, uncertainty and grief leaves some of us with a yearning for play, colour, laughter and nostalgia for our infancy and its objects. Thus the inspiration to design something with joy and playfulness in mind. A neon pink ABS plastic cuff hugs the wrist with a wavy band. A plastic cabochon ‘gemstone’ lies entrapped inside the emoji face. This ‘gemstone’ is made out of recycled HDPE plastics. This piece was 3D modelled and then printed and assembled.

Omniscient. Other. Sterling silver, gold plating. This is her first eyewear project, and all she wanted to express is a different vision of reality. The main reference is Shiva, the primal soul of the Universe and the omniscient (all-seeing) spirit. The central element of this piece is his trident. One of the trinities it represents, creation, maintenance and destruction. This reality, our universe is constantly creating, maintaining and destructing itself in a beautiful dance, and every artist is familiar with this process and sees its beauty.

Insecta. Other. Sterling silver, brass, cubic zirconia, garnet. She wishes she made this piece for a sci-fi movie. It must be about the future of humanity when it has mutated into some form of insect+humanoids for the sake of survival on what’s left on Earth. And the character wearing it is a highest priestess in the temple of new religion. She hopes this quirky precious eyewear makes one’s imagination go far to outer worlds as it does with her. And wearing it maybe helps one to see our world differently.

Anahid. Brooch. Silver, camel bone, zircon and onyx. A handmade silver brooch with painting on camel bone, onyx and black zircons. This brooch represents Anahita, the Goddess of WATER and war, worshipped in ancient Persia. It also represents female patronage, strength and femininity. The social status of Iranian women changed drastically after the invasion of the Arabs. I believe that the spirit of Anahita still lives within the soul of every Iranian woman and that it emerges in different situations, be it fighting social injustice or simply falling in love. The Vanishing Garden. Ring. Brass, zircons. Handmade brass pendant/ring set with coloured zircons. Inspired by the columns of the Persepolis and the natural ambient of Iran, this pendant/ ring represents our declining heritage sites and neglected natural environment. They both SYMBOLIZE our land and are an innate part of our identity and yet they have been deliberately neglected. I firmly believe that the only way we can rescue and revive our land is by preserving our natural ambient, resources, as well as our cultural sites.

Arturo Sanfelix | Unique design | Spain | arturosanfelix.com Spring Flower Earrings. Almuninium, titanium, silver, blue topazes and yellow sapphires. From the nature-inspired collection, these earrings represent how spring makes flowers bloom. How a world of beauty and colour blooms after a time of sad colours. Metaphor of how after the sad winter, better times always come. Entirely handmade, it stands out for its lightness and contrast of complementary colours. Like other pieces in this collection, this ring is made of silver, aluminium and titanium. With a blue topaz in its central part surrounded by a halo of yellow sapphires. Water Lily Ring. Like other pieces in this collection, this ring is made of silver, aluminium and titanium. With an amethyst in its central part surrounded by a halo of pink sapphires.

Goodness or badness (with colour). Other. Cloth, cotton thread, felt. We are faced with a variety of choice when making decisions in life. While gathering as much information as possible and drawing the logical conclusions to make decisions, in life there are many cases that lack information to decide. And in fact we are forced to take decisions and to execute them. The work to overcome indecision. I use “Colour” to solve it and I chose blue. It is a calm and transparent colour that inspires peace, relaxation and wisdom.

The Preservation of Property Pendant. Obsidian, silver, emeralds, sapphires and rubies. Obsidian silver mirror encrusted with antique emeralds, sapphires and rubies. Looking In the Mirror is a series of mirrors exploring different manifestations of ‘Empire’ as a superstitious fantasy of destruction and extermination. Using black mirrors as an “inversive” medium and inspired both by the obsidian mirrors in the British Museum, and the descriptions from Mesoamerican codexes, they link Cartesian philosophy to the practices of knowledge destruction and looting, to produce divine imperial illusions.

Maria Francisca Josefa Earrings. silver, emeralds, rubies, diamonds and ocean pearls. Handmade one-of-a-kind 925 sterling silver earrings with antique rubies, emeralds, diamonds and pearls. Thinking about medium as the message, this earrings are inspired by viceregal visual culture using silver as medium to reexpress the complexity of identification at the intersection of creative knowledge, light in movement, and embodiment. It is the result of researching the historical and artistic connections between Mexico, Peru and Italy, three unique regions that have influenced the world.

Metamorphosis. Ring. Silver. This piece is called “Metamorphosis” and it belongs to the collection “A Tale of Freedom”. The collection is based on a story of a man sleeping in a cocoon and dreaming to be free someday. Finally he realizes that freedom is not outside the cocoon but inside oneself. This particular piece symbolizes the journey and the change he has gone through. The piece is made of silver and the human figure is gold plated. It is totally handmade and sculpted by the artist.

We are all connected. Necklace. Silver. This piece belongs to the collection called “A Tale of Freedom”. Like the whole collection it is inspired from the story A Tale of Freedom. It represents the man in the story flying away from the cocoon among other people discovering that people have different stories but are all looking for the same thing : their freedom. It is a unique piece and totally handmade and sculpted by the artist.

Manuela Orlandi | mo_Manuela_Orlandi | Italy | @mo_manuela_orlandi Unity & Force Ring. Metal. It is a ring with a modern and at the same time tribal essential shape: in fact, it wraps around the hand and joins 4 fingers, leaving the thumb free - a symbol of freedom and creative independence. The jewel fits on the hand at the knuckles. The hand is wrapped, elegant in its unity and strength, as if it were ready to claim its essence by dazzling with the shine of the metal and with the decisive linearity of its shape.

Cuore uomo di latta. Pendant. Metal. This is a pendant to be worn hooked to a leather cord. The main element is a hinge that simulates the heartbeat. The idea is to represent the heart pumping blood and heating the body by making you feel emotions. The very heart that the tin man of the Wizard of Oz is looking for. The heart of the pendant, however, is not completely free because it is not able to feel the emotions that are blocked in the hinge by screws and washers.

“...the earth has bubbles...” Pendant. Blackened Sterling Silver & 9ct Yellow Gold. A hollow, rotating, blackened silver pendant with 9ct gold kinetic pins. The line “...the earth has bubbles...”, taken from Macbeth, refers to the mysterious vanishing of the witches. It is surmised that they return back into the earth from where they came. I like to imagine that the back and forth movement of the pins in the pendant conjures this moment, a flash of gold on the flat darkened heath. Moss Bangle. Blackened Sterling Silver & 9ct Yellow Gold from the Moss Collection. The starting point for this collection was a clump of moss, its stalks lit up in the sunlight. I was inspired by its tactility - the dense cushion and the seeming fragility of the stalks. This bangle is made in four sections, the quarters shift and each pin quivers reacting to the wearer’s movements giving the sound of gently falling rain.
