When starting out, things can be a little difficult when you are faced with a myriad of names and terminology that you have never come across before. This information pack identifies some of the sites that you will use during your training and beyond. You should have received an email from our support team giving you your email address and password – if not, please contact the support team, or myself, so that we can get this sorted out:
When you start in the office, ask your administrator to arrange setup for the printers. Contact the support team support@pb.co.nz Contact Amanda Woodmass amanda@pb.co.nz M 027 324 5810

Homebase pbhomebase.co.nz This is our intranet. Please save this as your home page as you will be visiting this site often. Take some time to look around HomeBase and remember to always check out the videos and guides on the Training Academy/Get Qualified page. These will make completing your assessments much easier and you will also be prompted to do other important bits and pieces that will help out when you are licensed.

PropertySuite propertysuite.co.nz PropertySuite is a great package to help you win more listings and make more sales in less time. You will use PropertySuite to store details about clients and properties, manage how you will keep in touch with these people, produce impressive marketing material and reports, store documents and generally keep track of your business.
Important Note: You will not have access to PropertySuite straight away, as you do not need to use it just yet. When you finish the papers and are asked to complete the ‘PropertySuite’ essentials course, you will need to ask Training for access. There are limitations to the training access location but you will still be able to do what you need to do to complete your training. Have a good play around with PropertySuite – you will not break it or accidentally list a property for sale, so no need to panic. You will get live access when you are licensed.
Use the first part of your email address for your username

RPNZ rpnz.co.nz RPNZ stands for Real Property New Zealand and is part of the Corelogic family. You will use RPNZ to obtain property information such as valuations, legal descriptions, legal ownership details and land areas. You will also be able to gather valuable information and statistics about particular regions, streets or suburbs and even see which properties in your area have recently been withdrawn.
Important Note: An email has been sent to your Property Brokers email address inviting you to set up your RPNZ account. Follow the instructions to set this up, with your username and password (you can choose what these are). When you have done that, please email the support team, support@pb.co.nz, to let them know what you have set as your username and password. They will then sync this to your PropertySuite account so that everything will be set to go when you need to use it.

Property Guru property-guru.co.nz Property Guru is also part of the Corelogic family and, like RPNZ, gives you access to property information. Some regions/divisions prefer to use Property Guru instead of RPNZ. Talk to your future manager to see what they suggest and if you would like to use Property Guru instead of RPNZ, simply email our support team and they will change this over for you. Please note that you will have to use one or the other in PropertySuite, not both, so you will need to elect which site you prefer.
6
Skills portal.skills.org.nz The Skills Organisation is the learning provider preferred by Property Brokers. You will obtain your Study Guides and Assessment Documents from their website.
7
REA rea.govt.nz Everyone has access to this website. It has a wealth of information for buyers, sellers and for licensees, so take some time to look around this site. Under the ‘Licensee’ tab, you will find information about applying for your licence and also a whole raft of information sheets and booklets that will come in handy for your study.

REINZ reinz.co.nz The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) is a membership organisation representing more than 14,000 real estate professionals nationwide. REINZ specialises in all facets of real estate including residential sales, rural, auctioneers, business brokers, commercial and industrial sales and leasing and residential property managers. You will not have access to REINZ until you are licensed and are a REINZ member.
