PROSOURCE OF BOISE (ID)
How long have you worked for ProSource Wholesale?
I’ve worked here for just over two years.
What’s your favorite part of being a team member at ProSource Wholesale?
We have an awesome team, so it’s fun watching our business grow since we started out new to the area and built it from the ground up by following the ProSource model. I also love dealing with trade pro members and clients… everybody has become a friend.
How do you interact with the kitchen and bath designer as a cohesive team for the trade pro and the client?
Our kitchen and bath design team is amazing. We focus on communicating with each other constantly to make sure everything goes smoothly.
What trends do you see developing with regard to home remodeling?
Here, wood looks and darker colors are popular trends.
What trends are you seeing with regard to products?
Luxury vinyl plank is one of our most popular products because our extreme temperature and weather changes are not good for wood floors. We’re also selling less carpet in favor of more custom area rugs and runners due to the whole house use of LVP.
What are a couple of your favorite flooring products?
Resista Plus H2O luxury vinyl is extremely durable and comes with a 20 mil wear layer. Plus, the price is unmatched. It sells very well.
How would you describe the difference between the service you offer at ProSource Wholesale versus retail or the big box stores?
We’re all about customer service. Our members and their clients get to deal with the same people all the time so we get to know them and their needs. It really is all about building incredibly strong relationships through personal attention and constant communication to give our members and their clients the best possible service.
What’s one piece of advice you would advocate to homeowners before they begin a project?
Look at ideas for what you want (layout, colors, etc.), and then figure out what you can afford to spend in order to create a realistic budget.
