What brings you the most satisfaction in your work?

I really value the relationships I’ve built with my clients.

What are the greatest challenges you face in your work?

It’s hard finding good workers, so I’m doing everything by myself for now.

What trends are you seeing with regard to home design and remodeling?

The big trend is the popularity of luxury vinyl plank for residences and businesses. Whites and grays are the main color trends. Carpet is also starting to take off.

Describe a recent project you’re particularly proud of. What made it so satisfying?

I did a new floor at a local car dealership with a large, intricate design in some striking colors that featured the founder’s name. It was a complex project, but it looked impressive when it was done.

What’s one piece of advice you would advocate to clients (homeowners) before they begin a project?

Get everything lined up before you get started, especially when flooring needs to be ordered so it will be ready at the right time. Also, be sure you’re set on colors and styles because changes can be expensive.
