Advisory Committees

Superintendent Advisory

The Superintendent Advisory Council will discuss various school related topics that impact the outcomes of the Prosper ISD Strategic Plan. The council will be represented by parents, staff, and community members.

Prosper Parent Ambassadors

This group consists of individuals from across the district that will connect with the communities in which their child(ren) attends school. They will act as a positive advocate for the school community by hosting campus tours at each of the PISD campuses.

PISD Parent Education Committee

This committee will provide resources, support, and workshops for parents based on identified topics of importance.

Superintendent’s Student Advisory

The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council is composed of Prosper ISD students. The council will provide the Superintendent with insight on school related topics from a student perspective.

Prosper University

Prosper University will be led by the Executive Leadership Team and will provide insight to the inner workings of PISD and the role of the School Board.

School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)

SHAC assists the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in health education instruction.

PISD Legislative Advocacy Committee

The mission of this Committee is to support Prosper ISD’s students, families, educators, board members, elected officials, and community members through local, state, and federal legislative research, feedback, and advocacy.

District Improvement Committee

This committee will establish and review the Prosper ISD educational goals, objectives, and progress made within the District Improvement Plan while ensuring alignment with the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the district.

Gifted Minds Prosper

Gifted Minds Prosper is an organization of parents and professionals who are focused on supporting and creating expanded opportunities for the education of gifted and talented students of all ages in Prosper ISD.
