From points north: take 95S to the Atwells Ave exit 21. Go straight through 4 traffic lights and turn left at the 5th traffic light onto Broad St, which becomes Weybosset St. From points south (take 95N to Point St exit 20) and from points east (take 195W to Point St exit 1A): proceed straight at the traffic light at end of exit onto E Franklin St. At Broad St, turn right at the light (Broad St becomes Weybosset St). PPAC will be on the right side of Weybosset. From Worcester/Western Massachusetts: Take 90E to exit 10A (Worcester/Providence, Route 146/20), which will lead to Route 146S (Providence). Take Route 146S and merge onto 95S in Providence. Then, follow directions for “from points north.”

PPAC requests that all guests arrive as early as possible and bring minimal personal belongings to the Theatre. Guests entering PPAC are subject to search at the discretion of management, which may include pat down or scan by metal detector. All bags are subject to search; bags that pass inspection must fit comfortably under a guest’s seat. Laptops, briefcases, suitcases, and outside food and beverages are not allowed in the building. Any items confiscated will not be returned. PPAC does not provide an area to check bags, coats, or any personal belongings. Please note that a Providence Police detail is on site at all PPAC events. PPAC management reserves the right to change their security policy or implement any security measures required for any performance without advance notice.

THE WIZARD OF OZ is a new, refreshed, and lavish celebration of the iconic 1939 MGM film. The musical features the classic songs “Over the Rainbow,” “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead,” and “If I Only Had a Brain,” and everyone’s favorite characters: Dorothy, the Tin Man, Scarecrow, the Lion, and Toto!

THE WIZARD OF OZ is designated as a family show; all ages are permitted.

LEWIS BLACK: THE JOKE’S ON US TOUR Thursday, November 8 at 7:30P

Tickets: $75 - $29.50 Known as the king of the rant, LEWIS BLACK uses his trademark style of comedic yelling and animated finger-pointing to skewer anything and anyone that gets under his skin. His comedic brilliance lies in his ability to make people laugh at the absurdities of life, with topics that include current events, social media, politics, and anything else that exposes the hypocrisy and madness he sees in the world. Do you have a “rant” you’d like to get off of your chest? Visit www.lewisblack.com/live and click on “Suggest a Rant” – Lewis will respond to a selection of submitted rants during his show at PPAC!

Inspired by the beloved films, ANASTASIA tells the story of a brave young woman named Anya who sets out to discover the mystery of her past. The show transports you from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the glamour and beauty of Paris in the 1920s, illustrated with opulent set and costume designs. The score, which is written by the Tony Award-winning creators of Ragtime, includes favorites from the animated film, “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December.” The National Tour cast stars Lila Coogan as Anya, Stephen Brower as Dmitry, Jason Michael Evans as Gleb, Joy Franz as Dowager Empress, Tari Kelly as Countess Lily, Edward Staudenmayer as Vlad and Victoria Amelia Bingham as Little Anastasia.

Highlights from the Loew’s Theatre Building’s 90th Anniversary Celebration PPAC celebrated the 90th anniversary of the Loew’s Theatre Building with a free event at the Theatre on Saturday, October 13. The event was a gift to the community from PPAC. Thank you to everyone who attended this wonderful celebration. Our 90th Anniversary celebration continued into the evening at Skyline at Waterplace Park. Here’s to 90 years of the Loew's Theatre Building and many more to come!
