A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO
Dear Subscribers and Friends:
I am excited to share our dazzling 46th Broadway Season, filled with sparkling Broadway gems!
The Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series shines with an incredible array of entertainment. The Series opens with our launch of the national tour of the "sparkling and explosively entertaining" (The Oberserver) revival of FUNNY GIRL; Collider says it is "the exact musical that we need right now." The new musical comedy MRS. DOUBTFIRE is a “feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers” (The Hollywood Reporter). Pop the champagne as the long-awaited ten time Tony Award® winning Best Musical MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL invites you to enter a world of glitz, grandeur and glory for two weeks during the holiday season in December. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, adapted from Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, has been called “one of the greatest plays in history” and has captivated audiences on Broadway and across the United States. The Tony-nominated hit Broadway musical Disney’s FROZEN features the songs you love from the Oscar-winning film – this spectacular production is great for the entire family and will be here for just two weeks! Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, COMPANY is the new production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s groundbreaking work. The Encore Series opens with a return engagement of the nine-time Tony Award® winning Best Musical, THE BOOK OF MORMON; it's been called "the best musical of this century" by The New York Times. The classic Dr. Seuss’ HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL is the perfect family holiday show. A smash hit on Broadway, in Providence and across the nation, AIN’T TOO PROUD – The Life and Times of The Temptations tells the unforgettable story of the legendary quintet that Billboard named one of the greatest R&B groups of all time.
We are extremely grateful to our Broadway Series Title Sponsor, Taco/The White Family Foundation, and to WPRI 12, our Season Media Sponsor.
