Osvaldo answered some questions from Real Producers. This interview has been edited for length and clarity. When did you start in real estate? What attracted you to it? Osvaldo: I started in real

estate in 2006 at 19 years old. At first, it was a way to make enough money to supplement my college expenses. After graduating Penn State University, I quickly realized that I was making more in real estate than at any starting job in my field of study. After graduating college, I decided to make real estate a full-time career where I am able to help many individuals achieve the so-called “American Dream” among the Latino community. I became known in the community as a trustworthy and helpful guy who can help a lot of people achieve homeownership. A lot of my clients had bad past experiences and with proper guidance, they became homeowners. realproducersmag.com

How has being bilingual helped you in real estate? Osvaldo: Being bilingual (English and Spanish) allows me to

serve a vast variety of people and helped me create a niche in the Hispanic community. The ability to represent my clients in their native language allows me to build trust and create an ample book of business. As a bilingual REALTOR®, I’ve been able to provide a sense of security with my clients and they truly understand the process from beginning to end. It has been so fulfilling to build true friendships while professionally representing my clients. As a Latino, I believe in the concept of “Familia” (family) and building strong relationships and that begins with honesty and trust. I believe my business has grown thanks to the values that were instilled in me early in life that allow me to connect with people. It helps me to guide them in order to achieve homeownership and the American Dream. What are some ways you go above and beyond for clients? Osvaldo: I truly strive to deliver an experience

when people are buying or selling a house. It all begins in our initial consultation. I start from a place of curiosity and ask about their wants and needs. Having set expectations from Day One is a key factor for a smooth transaction, as all parties in the transaction know what to expect.
