European and Russian markets for KFC and Pizza Hut, returning to KFC a few years later where he moved back into an operations role, quickly followed by moves into franchise and development. From KFC he moved across to Pizza Hut, where he has held operations, franchise and development roles, and is currently the market growth officer for 27 countries across Europe and the Mediterranean.

They are a three star member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association. The pair have recently secured three million of growth capital to scale the brand throughout the UK.

FOUNDER AND CEO OF TOSSED WEDNESDAY | 11.45 | KEYNOTE THEATRE 2 Vincent founded Tossed in 2005 straight out of uni, with no experience (working in McDonald’s at college), no investors (just a bunch of credit cards), but with a passion for healthy eating. One of the early pioneers of the healthy eating trend, Tossed were the first company in the space to put nutritional info on their made in store products. Vincent and his team have since grown Tossed to 26 sites including both Westfield shopping centres, 6 Welcome Break sites and 3 sites in Dubai. Tossed recently launched Europe’s first completely cashless and till less restaurant on custom built tablet software that they had been building for 18 months. Vincent is interested in new technologies behind food and hospitality, especially around healthy eating and anything that makes running a restaurant simpler.When not working, Vincent likes to keep fit and healthy by hitting the gym, cycling and running.

Edin was responsible for the opening and development of new Cafe Uno units before becoming an area manager, responsible for eight units with annual sales of £5.5 million. Edin then moved to Starbucks as a district manager, with responsibility for the City of London before leaving to pursue Firezza. Firezza is the market leader in London’s gourmet pizza delivery market. Currently they have 23 sites. The latest branch opened In London Soho (Dean Street). This is their first eat in, fast casual version of the Firezza concept. Their purpose has not changed: serve beautifully prepared, restaurant quality food for discerning professionals through an unsurpassed delivery/ take-out eat in experience. Firezza offers pizza for the modern day, health conscious lifestyle using quality ingredients.

Firezza is an enterprising company,always seeking to improve on what we deliver and find better ways of doing business. In February 2016, we sold to Pizza Express. To be part of Pizza Express family but independent, as we always were, and true to our values and our customers, these are exciting times for my team and myself. Making great pizzas and serving our customers, while having lots of fun, will always be part of our DNA.

Crussh has maintained their leadership in healthy eating, achieving many industry firsts, including bringing organic dairy-free porridge to the high street, introducing chia seeds to the UK, and, more recently, launching their artisan cold-pressed juices and dairy-free, protein-dense milks.

Chris joined Crussh in 2003 from Bain & Co. with a background in strategy consulting and private equity having worked across the Sydney, Stockholm and London offices. He brings to bear a wide background spanning manufacturing engineering, industrial design and marketing alongside a healthy interest in food and nutrition. He is now a non-exec board advisor investing in and guiding a number of businesses with a specific focus on the food tech space.

The nearest station is Prince Regent on the DLR Docklands Light Railway - just 3 stops from Canning Town on the Jubilee Line.
