Mo Ladan ensured his fi rst season as a patron at Guards Polo Club was a successful one when winning the Town & County Championship. His Maidabino team delivered a strong performance over Alan Fall and Stefan Sund’s Mad Dogs/ Previse team to secure this eight-goal final, winning 10-4. Mo’s team-mate, Matias Amaya received the Images of Polo Best Playing Pony prize for Tormenta, and was then named the Most Valuable Player.

Ten teams had entered this popular, low-goal contest – who wouldn’t want to take home such a magnifi cent trophy – and the sub fi nal was a closer affair. The Heard family’s Home Farm team won this battle, defeating the Vivek Rawal and Nick Beitner’s Tashan Power team 8-7. ✸
