Friday

The weekend starts with check-in from 3 - 7 p.m. where you can pick up a welcome packet, gather information and secure tickets for select events.

After checking in, stop by the East Patio and play lawn games! If you're feeling like you need some shade from the spring sun, step indoors to play board games in SURC 137. Afterwards, head over to The Burg’s Studio Tour to see how they operate their award-winning radio station.

Don’t miss Barrio Fiesta sa Bayan, a celebration of Filipino culture with dance performances, activities and information booths, hosted on Barto Lawn and the Wellington Event Center.

In between events on campus, drive out to grab a bite at one of the many delicious local restaurants that Ellensburg has to offer, then head back to campus for a planetarium show, paint party and this year’s headliner event.

Filosophy will take the stage in a fun acapella performance. You may recognize some of these members of The Filharmonic, who were on NBC’s The Sing Off and a Late Late Show 80’s riff off with Lizzo!

Saturday

On Saturday morning, swing by the Ellensburg Farmers located on 4th Avenue downtown!

Take a walk and discover all the locally grown food and homemade goods. Or, take a tour of historic Ellensburg and the CWU campus.

If you’re into something more adventurous, get tickets to float the Yakima River or grab a free Recreation Center Fitness Pass to gain access to the entire Recreation Center! Pick up a friendly game of basketball or explore the rock-climbing wall.

Moving into Saturday evening, you can find African Night in the SURC Ballroom, where you will get to experience African culture, food, dances, and everything in between. Right after that, you can stop by and see the Hot New Jam performing improv in the SURC Theatre.

Sunday

With the weekend coming to a close we welcome you to a Mother’s Day Brunch in the Holmes Dining Room. This is a great chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast with your family as you recap the amazing time you had at Family Weekend.

All Weekend

Make sure to catch a performance of Central Theatre Ensemble's “Into the Woods.” The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make. Performances are Friday and Saturday evening, plus afternoon times Saturday and Sunday.
