REAL ESTATE SALES REPORT JANUARY 2021 THRU APRIL 2022
Looking back over 2021 through April of 2022, property sales at Hartness have followed the nationwide upward trend. In many ways, 2021 gave our realty operation a fresh start coming out of Covid restrictions and uncertainty. Our team moved into a new sales office, the Hartness Discovery Center, next door to the Village Kitchen.

Two sales during the first quarter of 2022 are of particular note. One homesite and one home transaction established the highest sales price benchmarks for Hartness properties.

Hartness Real Estate (HRE) began 2021 with an ambitious goal of selling 55 properties, 19 homes and 36 homesites. We came out of the gates fast and kept strong momentum throughout the year selling 88 properties for $38.3 million. Those 88 sales included 34 homes and 54 homesites. Through April 2022, the sales pace remained strong, with 22 new properties contracted for $11.7 million in volume.

For the balance of 2022, we are finishing up sales in the Cottage Grove neighborhood and the Preserve Villa enclave. On the horizon, we are extremely bullish on the homes coming from our Builder Guild Partners. The Hartness development team is finishing final permitting for two new offerings: Phase 3 includes 116 properties with a delightfully appealing variety of home designs and a unique offering of 26 estate-sized homesites adjacent to the Hotel Hartness.
