It is true of most anything you can steer— a bicycle, motorcycle, car, boat, segue. Sometimes it will prove true during a walk. We tend to travel toward the destination that holds our gaze. What we look at can certainly influence our direction. The object of our regard, scrutiny, and study will become clearer to us over time. And that object will also come to shape and form who we become. So, as the old Sunday School song advises, “O, be careful little eyes where you look.” What are you looking at?
