WHAT WE STAND FOR CEkC stands for exclusive designs of men’s accessories made in America with the highest craftsmanship that provides our clients confidence. CEkC translating to ‘sex’ in Russian is based on the idea that our statement accessories give our customer that sexy edge. We believe a tie is the first thing the eye catches when it comes to men.

Men’s ties are evolving as more men are wearing ties as a statement of personal style than as a formal accessory required for the workplace. There is no such thing as an overdressed man. We as innovators find inspiration around the world, using unique materials and designs. As laser cutting is the way of the future, CEkC believes in giving men cutting-edge confidence.

CEkC specializes in personalized men’s accessories. The DeCoupe collection specifically consists of laser cut leather ties. This collection features one of a kind statement accessories. DeCoupe features a variety of ties that range from skinny, standard to wide and includes bow ties. CEkC will be providing its products to men who are in the age range of twentyfive to forty years old. These customers have a mid-high to high income, with a professional degree in hand, they are self-motivated and always aiming for high success.

Are men who wear ties frequently more likely to have higher salaries? This statement is generally true according to the graph. Jobs that pay $50K – $200K see men dressed in ties the majority of time. In that bracket, those men ranged from 27-60 years old but on average, men in their 30’s. Sales to men 18 to 34 were up more than 13% at $303 million in 2013.

Ninety-five million ties are sold in the United States annually, generating more than

$1.4 billion in retail sales, according to MR Magazine and the Neckwear Association of America’s 1992 Handbook. Men’s ties rose in 2013 through volume terms of 5% growth.

There are few companies producing leather ties. For our company the expectations are high. The quality of the leather be a major factor along with the lining. Craftsmanship involves a well-cut lining. The interlining determines the shape but also how well it will wear. It must be properly coordinated in blend, nap and weight. Branding must also meet the expectations of the consumer. The branding must showcase the luxury of our product. With sleek lines and a simple logo, our branding was designed with the upper class man in mind.

Burberry is a world renowned luxury brand. Their trademark is tradition and the history of their brand. With a higher price point, their target market ranges from thirty to forty year olds. One of Burberry’s fastest growing product lines is the men’s accessories. It accounts for over twenty percent of the total

mainline accessories’ revenue. Their ties range from $165 to $325. Burberry tends to keep the traditional patterns while also introducing innovative new designs each season.

2015 is the year of the leather detailing. In men’s clothing and accessories the military trend is an arena to emphasize leather as the main material. The leather trend also alludes to the 70’s trend that has been spotted for spring and fall. Leather material is a way to focus on understated luxury. Perforated leather is something that is in emergence. It shows the innovative behavior of the times.

Leather techniques are becoming more advanced. Leather now contains opulent motifs such as damask and swirling imagery that are core trends. Through the use of padded

constructions, printing, embossing and applique, softer surfaces for leather indicate a return to the highly romantic trend. Softer metallic and pearlized finsihes with sheen and double faced leather treatments where both sides are being exposed are most popular. Padded surfaces are combined with woven materials, fused with high-tech neoprene or simply dyed tones. Geometric patterned leather is a trend this season lending itlself to the tough and active graphic trend. Triangles and hexagons represent powerful structures. With new technology, leather can now have a rubbed finish with a rustic and worn effect.

CEkC will be producing ties in house at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The initial cost of a laser cutting machine is $4,275. With our personal laser cutter, we will be able to change patterns frequently and not have to spend the added expences of out sourcing. The laser cutting machine can cut out the pattern of the design and the tie. This makes the rest of

production easy. In house manufacturing will aslo cut down the cost of freight. We will only have to ship ties to our two pop up shops.

Our range plan is bases off the need to pay the overhead such as rent and to make profit. Our rent each month is $106,75. In order to pay the rent we must

sell at least one hundred ties a month.

This will leave room for little profit on

some of the slower months. We also had to take into consideration how many ties we can make in a day. Once we see revenue, we will be able to determine if another laser cutting machine could be added and more ties could be make per day.

CEkC plans on exhibiting our products at the Dallas’ Apparel & Accessories Market. Dallas Market Center welcomes more than 200,000 buyers each year, 70% of whom only shop Dallas. An estimated $8.5 billion in wholesale transactions are conducted at the market center annually, according to the Dallas Market Center’s website statistics. This takes place March 25-28 and gives us the opportunity to display our products in a 110 square foot booth totaling $1500. We want to maximize our impact at the market by advertising on four floor dots at $200 each totaling $800.
