Story Book Summer Get those goggles out! Kids will be making goo and glob while learning about the natural sticky stuff, like sap, that grows in our park. Come learn about animals from A to Z this fun week. Children will enjoy learning about animals from the Aye-aye to the Zebrafish, and all the wonderful critters in our park. This week children will explore their favorite community helper and learn more about the job they do everyday. From Firefighters to Doctors, children will make crafts, play dress up and meet a few local heroes. Children will explore different types of authors on some of the most beloved children’s books. We will read the books, make crafts, and have the snacks, that will reconnect them with their favorite authors. $100

Let’s have camping fun without leaving the art room! This art camp takes us to an imaginary world where we will hike, build a campfire, create a nature tapestry, and learn about wild animals. We will learn all about camping by mapping our campground, designing our own camping trailer, and “collecting” bugs in a jar. We will use our imagination and explore painting, printing, collage, nature tapestry and other art media. LET’S GO SKATE! CAMP AGES 8-15
Learn the fundamentals or improve your current skateboarding skills. Through our skate camps youth will learn to establish goals like learning their first trick, skating different obstacles at Veterans Skatepark, and getting the confidence they need to compete in competitions. Skateboarding is a global activity that improves physical fitness, provides stress relief, and is a great means of transportation. Pads and helmets required. Bring your board and Let’s Skate! Skatepark will be closed to the general public while camp is in session. For safety measures ONLY registered participants will be permitted in the park during camp. Please bring helmet, skateboard and pads to camp each day. YOUTH PICKLEBALL ACADEMY AGES 8-12
Did you know that Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America? Get your kids involved in a lifelong sport by registering for our camp today! The camp will focus on rules, skills, basic strategy, and game play. All equipment is provided. Class will meet daily at the NEW outdoor Pickleball Courts. Fridays will be make up days in the event of inclement weather. Intermediate archery is for those who have previously participated in the basic archery camp, archery in the schools, boy scouting archery or similar.
