CAMP WINGAPO AGES 9-14

Camp Wingapo, pronounced win-gap-o, was a Powhatan word used to great friends or those who wanted to be friends. Camp Wingapo campers are true outdoor adventurers. With access to miles of trails and an 8-acre lake at Locust Shade Park campers stay active, have fun with new and old friends and learn about the world around them. Each week, our camp schedule is made up of hiking, fishing, archery, mini-golf, and boating components. Weekly plans are infused with activities related to our weekly theme. These themed activities provide each camper with a chance to work with friends, learn different skills, participate in new games, and build their adventurer confidence. Please note that participants will spend their day outdoors with shelter for inclement weather. Aquatic Adventures

Sherwood Forest Do you have what it takes to compete for a Gold Medal? Camp Wingapo adventurers will participate in daily competitions in archery, kayaking, science exploration and minute-to-win-it games. Competitions abound in this Olympic-themed camp. Water is everywhere and key to all life. Camp Wingapo Adventurers will explore everything water this week while kayaking, canoeing, creek walking, playing water games and learning about the water cycle and watersheds around us. Get wet at Wingapo. Adventurers at Wingapo will explore their forest while daily spending time perfecting their archery skills. Robin Hood and Green Arrow fans in training will learn more about the forest, its resources and how to care for its dependents. $240

Camp Wingapo Adventurers will take a trip to the Islands as they explore island activities and culture. Adventurers will find pineapples, play limbo, fish with a casting net, and explore the shores around the island. Go with the flow on the island at Locust Shade Park. Greek Heroes Have you ever wanted to battle medusa or the minotaur? Camp Wingapo Adventurers will get prepared to take a Quest by learning how to be courageous and strong while encountering challenges throughout their visit to Greek Heroes Camp. $240

CYBER TECH ACADEMY PRESENTS:

MINECRAFT MODDING AGES 6-12

In this class, students will learn how to create their own custom game play items and elements using MCreator and Minecraft. Students will learn how to create artwork for various items, and implement them into the game with custom behaviors. Design your own custom blocks, food, biomes and more! Does your child spend hours at a time playing Minecraft? Have them learn how to improve their game play experience and create your own custom mods to take home today! Students will also learn about the following topics: texture design, custom events and game modification.
