Our beloved Brothers and Sisters, As we celebrate the divinely inspired and Glorious ልደት/Lidet/birth of የጌታ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ/Gêta Eeyesus Kristos/the Lord Jesus Christ, we must remember that the birth of our የጌታ/Gêta/Lord today brings the same message that it did more than 2000 years ago. The message is important, it brings good tidings. It is meaningful and brings great joy... the birth of የጌታ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ/Gêta Eeyesus Kristos/the Lord Jesus Christ brings a peaceful, calming comfort and unending encouragement for hope. 4

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever" (Isaiah 40:8). 10 And the መልአክ/Malak/Angel said to them, "Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people; 11 for to you is born this day in the city of David a Medhanee/መድኃኒ/Savior, Who is ክርስቶስ Kristos/Christ The ጌታ/Gêta/Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger." 13 And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the heavenly host እግዚአብሔርንም እያመሰገኑ [Igziabherinim Iyamäsägänu/praising God] and saying, 14 "ክብር ለእግዚአብሔር/Kibir LeIgziabher/Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!" ~ Luke 2:10-14 5

The birth of our የጌ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ/Gêta Eeyesus Kristos/Lord Jesus Christ is a blessed declaration of hope. The very birth of የጌታ/Gêta/the Lord is faith instilling in nature, content in family and simple salutations, and so blessed in the promise of its hope for those present at the birth's inception and for those of us generations since that time that the Law was perfectly fulfilled. The teachings የጌታ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ/Gêta Eeyesus Kristos/the Lord Jesus Christ would bring to this world still stand today; His ancient yet modern messages offer solutions to present problems and answers to questions in all walks of life with the underlying declaration of goodwill toward men. 6
