POINT OF BEGINNING AT CORNER OF BLDG

The site is located in Central Harlem, is the first permanent, supportive housing facility for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, It aims to provide open spaces for those people who lives here to communicate and recreation.

The completed design includes multi-level gathering areas, an exercise “pad”, and stairs to the lower level which create bleacher-style seating. The whole courtyard desing includes front yard design and rear yard design.

Site Area

There are three elements which run through this whole landscape design process, they are water, landscape, and social activity, which also have their inner connections with each other.

Fen River

The Central Business District of southern Taiyuan city is located besides the Fen River, which is the “ mother river “ of Taiyuan city, and it is also the secondary branch of the Yellow River, this special location is destinied to be the key link between Fen River and the southern Taiyuan city, and at the meantime, this linear green space is corresponding to the historical places which on the other side of the Fen River. The main function of this CBD green space is that it is aimed to activate the vitality of the business life of southern Taiyuan city and at the meanwhile to enrich people’s social life.

Mixing these three elements together will finally make this linear park a vibrant, multielement green public space. Red Ribbon
