The ABC Adult School ESL classes are a Program.
What does this mean to the students? A Program means that the Skills classes and Level classes are all together, from the Beginning to the Intermediate and to the Advanced. Students start in a class and advance to the next class. All the classes have the same types of lessons, for health, shopping, working and home. The teachers teach with the same types of practice using partners, table groups, and the whole class. The teachers have the same ideas about the ESL Program. We are all proud of our ESL Program. In the morning, at 8 and 9 am, students take Skills classes with different teachers, Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar. Then, after the break, students take Level classes to learn how to use English in their lives everyday. In the afternoon and evening classes students learn and practice the same skills as the morning classes with their classmates and teachers.

Citizenship Classes The Language Media Center is for students to practice the same Skills individually, using many books, videos, audio lessons, and computers. They can also have conversations with volunteers from the community. This classroom is open from 8 in the morning until 7 in the evening.
