CRAFT CORNER CREATE YOUR OWN CHILLY BUDDY: A SOCK SNOWMAN CRAFT Say hello to your DIY sock snowman! This craft is perfect for all ages, and you don't need any sewing skills. Plus, it's a fantastic way to get creative and personalize your own decor or gifts.

What You'll Need: n A white tube or crew sock n Rice for stuffing n Optional funnel n Yarn or rubber bands n Fabric scissors n Crafting glue or a hot glue gun n An assortment of craft supplies for customization: pom-poms, buttons, fabric paint, and more

How to Build Your Sock Snowman: 1. Fill the Sock: Load about two-thirds of your sock with rice. Using a funnel can make this process easier. Secure the opening by tying it with yarn or a rubber band about an inch above the rice. 2. Shape It: Divide the rice-filled section almost in half to create a head and a body. Secure your division with yarn or another rubber band. 3. Making a Hat: Roll down the empty upper part of the sock to make a makeshift hat. If the sock is too long, trim any excess fabric. 4. Optional Hat: Have an extra colorful or patterned sock? Cut the toe end to fit and slide it over your snowman's existing white hat for an extra touch.

PUMPKIN CREAM PIE Recipe Credit: Meghan Birnbaum Social Media Handle: @meghanitup Ingredients: n 1 prepared 9-inch (6 ounces) pie crust n 1 can (15 ounces) Pure Pumpkin n 1 package (5.1 ounces) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix n 1 cup Evaporated Milk n 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice n 2 cups heavy cream Cooking Steps/Directions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Pure Pumpkin, vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix, Evaporated Milk, and pumpkin pie spice. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer for 1 minute or until well blended. 2. In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. To do this, pour the 2 cups of heavy cream into a cold mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until the cream thickens and forms stiff peaks. 3. Gently fold 1 ½ cups of the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture. Make sure to combine them thoroughly but be careful not to overmix and deflate the whipped cream. 4. Spoon the pumpkin cream mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly. 5. Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours or until firm. 6. Before serving, you can add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the pie for garnish, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy! Why This Recipe Is Special: "My family prefers this over traditional pumpkin pie!"

NUNZIA’S PASTA E FAGIOLI Recipe Credit: Nancy Sherman Social Media Handle: @nancyragazza Ingredients: n 2 cans Cannelloni Beans, rinsed (also called white beans) n 5 cups vegetable stock n 2 teaspoons salt n ¼ teaspoon pepper n Pinch of oregano (dried recommended) n 3 garlic cloves, peeled and pressed n 1 tablespoon dry parsley n ⅓ cup olive oil n 3 tablespoons tomato paste n ½ cup chopped yellow onion n 1 can whole plum tomatoes, chopped into chunks n ¼ lb elbow macaroni Cooking Steps/Directions: 1. Drizzle olive oil into about a 3-quart pan. Add the rinsed and drained Cannelloni beans. Stir for a minute until warmed through. 2. Add the vegetable stock, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Cover the pot and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for approximately 1 hour until the beans are tender. 3. In a separate sauté pan (usually started 30-40 minutes into the bean cooking process), heat the ⅓ cup olive oil, then add the onion and garlic. Sauté on medium heat until the onions are translucent. 4. Add the tomato paste and continue to sauté for another 3-5 minutes until paste is incorporated with the onion mixture. 5. Add chopped plum tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes longer. Now add this mixture to your soup. Blend gently and continue to cook uncovered for approximately 20 minutes. 6. At this point, you may either add the macaroni to the soup, making it thicker (additional broth may be needed when reheating), or cook the macaroni separately and add to each bowl prior to serving. Boun appetito!
