Much more than a raw chocolate which is drawn from the cocoa beans of a region, our Plantation chocolates are based on cocoa beans originating from a single and unique plantation. The exceptional quality of the beans, the remarkable work of the growers and the expertise in roasting of the Manufacture CLUIZEL reveal all the noblesse of these quality chocolates. This Plantation chocolate exhales the aromatic strength of the Bahia region of Brazil at the heart of the Atlantic forest not far from the ocean. The cocoa trees are cultivated in keeping with for the environmental flora and fauna.

1/ Fabrication of the chocolate: The direct and longstanding relationship with the grower, allows us to adjust the roasting according to the specific characteristics of the beans. Mastering the art of roasting and of blending, the Cacaofèvier® (cocoa bean specialist) and the chocolate makers of Manufacture CLUIZEL have performed a meticulous work to liberate the specific aromatic notes typical of the Riachuelo Plantation. 2/ Manufacturing of the bar and the squares: Thanks to the ‘savoir-faire’ of Manufacture CLUIZEL teams, the coatings are carefully softened in order to obtain a perfect chocolate.
A smooth and melting texture, of sweet milky and caramelised notes, blended with notes of red (berry) fruit, terminating with a fine length on the palate, fresh and spicy.

A gustatory journey The Riachuelo Plantation is situated in the Bahia region inBrazil, in the heart of the Atlantic forest and not far from the ocean, and is a region recognised for its exceptional luxuriant environment which gives the cocoa trees their particular richness. In the image of the Plantation and its environment, the bars are covered in brilliant colours. A Perfect equilibrium The cocoa beans from the Riachuelo Plantation have enabled the elaboration of a dark and milk chocolate infinitely fragranced, combining delicious notes of grilled cocoa with dried fruits and red (berry) fruits, and of spicy notes. All dark chocolate lovers will be surprised by its considerable content in cocoa and its original aftertaste, a final spicy bouquet with notes of caramelised chocolate. The beans from the Riachuelo plantation have enabled the elaboration of a milk chocolate infinitely fragranced, combining delicious creamy milky notes and caramel butter, mixed with notes of red fruits and grilled cocoa, which terminates by a fine length on the palate, fresh and spicy. All milk chocolate lovers will be surprised by its considerable content in cocoa with a slight sugar taste, and its original aftertaste, and a final spiced bouquet.
