Directions How to get here: The Physical Education Centre (PEC) is located on the north side of Union Street, between Division Street and University Avenue. Union Street is accessible from both Sir John A MacDonald Boulevard to the west and Division Street to the east. Parking is available at curbside (meters) or in the Stuart Street Visitors Lot (Stuart Street is at the end of University Avenue). Upon entering the PEC, turn right at the first corridor. The registration wickets are immediately on the right.

Anyone may register themselves or other members of their family, provided they have the appropriate fees and information. Spaces are limited, and registration forms are processed on a first-come/first-service basis. Queen’s University reserves the right to remove or refuse participation by anyone. This shall be governed by internal University procedures and policies. These procedures do not constitute a screening process of participants.

Queen’s Recreation offers two pricing categories: Member rate: to be eligible you must have a current PEC membership.
Taxes All prices advertised in this brochure include all applicable taxes.
Refunds Full refunds will be issued (less an administration fee) up to three (3) working days prior to the start date of the program. Administration fee for camps is $50, all other programs is $8. Following this, no refunds will be issued. Exceptions to this policy will only be made for medical reasons.
Cancellations Queen’s Recreation reserves the right to cancel any program at any time (usually due to low enrollment, lack of facilities, etc.) and will provide full refunds when applicable.
Minimum Age In general, participants must be 18 years of age or older, or be a current Queen’s student. Any exception to this will be listed with the specific program.

Dance Club
The Archery Club provides an opportunity for all to learn or participate in the sport of Archery. New participants will benefit from six weeks of free instruction by qualified instructors. While this instruction is aimed at those who never held a bow before, everyone is welcome.
The Dance Club is the largest recreational club on Queen’s campus. This expansive clubs offers 30 classes a week in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Queen’s own ‘Cardiofunk’. Lessons are offered at many levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced. The year culminates with a large Dance Recital in March.

Badminton Club
Dance Team
The Badminton Club caters to players of all levels – from novice to expert – Birds are supplied and racquets are available for rent at the equipment services counter. The club meets twice a week on a drop-in basis and also hosts an annual tournament.
The Dance team consists of approximately 20 dancers who perform at many different events throughout the year around campus. The team performs at all men’s and women’s home basketball games, at various charity events, and at the annual QDC Recital. The award winning team also competes against other Ontario universities each year. This year the team will be competing at the prestigious National Dance Alliance (NDA) competition in Dayton Beach, Florida! Auditions are held for the team in September, and consist of jazz and hip-hop components. (Technical training is required).

Climbing Club The Climbing Club is a great way to get involved in the sport with regular clinics for all levels – basic to advance. Members of this club learn different kinds of terrain (indoor, outdoor on rock, ice and even buildings). Outdoor trips are made most weekends with equipment free to members. Dance Pack The 2009 Queens Dance Pack is a group of enthusiastic and outgoing women who will cheer on the Queens Football team throughout the 09 season. Along with attending all home games, the girls will participate in on-campus promotions, organize community events in support of local charities and travel to away games when possible. The overall goals of the Queens Dance Pack include increasing participation across campus and throughout the community, promoting team spirit and active involvement in Queens University Athletics, and the promotion of a healthy and active lifestyle. The team would like to hold an annual fundraiser in support of the local charity Pro Kids in order to give more children in Kingston the opportunity to get involved in sports. Highland Dance Club
The Equestrian Club offers English hunter-seat equitation lessons for all levels of riders – from beginner through advanced. Each semester the club offers a new session or riding opportunities and lessons. Each session includes eight (8) lessons offered once a week for an hour.
The Highland Dance Club teaches Highland Dancing skills to all levels of interested students. A Scottish tradition unique to the Queen’s community, it is a great way for all to keep in shape and be a part of this historical folk art.

Flow Dance Club The Flow Dance Club covers a wide variety of styles such as locking, popping and freestyle not covered by the other Dance clubs at Queen’s. This class is open to an intermediate and advance level with two different types of sessions (A&B). Gymnastics Club The Gymnastics Club is designed to promote recreational training for university-aged students who no longer wish to compete at an elite level. Haidong Gumdo Club The Haidong Gumdo Club teaches the old military martial art from the Koguryo Kingdom of Ancient Korea. This club focuses on the sword and open handed techniques which make up the many skills of this martial art. With focus on meditation, breathing and strength training Haidong Gumdo can be used for basic fitness enhancement as well as self-defense. Jiu Jitsu Club The Jiu Jitsu Club offers an enjoyable atmosphere for participants to achieve a higher fitness level while gaining valuable self-defense skills. Judo Club Judo is a martial art created in 1882 by Dr. Jigoro Kano. After studying Jiu Jitsu himself, Kano created Judo with the goal of retaining the best techniques of Jiu Jitsu, while making a martial art whose techniques were safe enough to be practiced full strength with a partner. Judo is primarily a grappling art, focusing on throws, pins or holds, arm-locks and chokes. It is fun and safe to practice, offers great fitness benefits, and is a very effective form of self-defense. Sailing Club
The Karate Club offers Goju-Ryu Karate in its classical form. Members will have the opportunity to learn a number of Katas which teach the importance of body awareness, slow, controlled movements and breathing patterns in creating force. Time is also spent training with partners to work on advanced techniques.
The Sailing Club operates out of the Kingston Yacht Club which is walking distance to campus. This club offers an opportunity for members to participate in sailing in a noncompetitive environment. All skill levels are welcome and no experience is necessary.

Olympic Tae Kwon Do Club The Olympic Tae Kwon Do club teaches one of the fastest growing martial arts in the world today. This Olympic style of training is great for physical fitness and involves both aerobic and anaerobic activity which builds overall endurance. Outdoors Club The Outdoors Club is one of the largest and most diverse clubs on campus. Scuba Club The Queen’s Recreational Scuba Club has the benefit of being in proximity to Lake Ontario, where some of the best fresh water diving sites exist. Total Martial Arts Club
The Table Tennis Club is for people of all levels to enjoy the fast-paced and easy to learn game of Table Tennis (aka Ping Pong). Open to all ages and skill levels with competitive fun tournaments held throughout the year.
The Total Martial Arts club focuses mainly on grappling techniques and submissions; however it also provides instruction in striking, self-defence and take-down skills. Fitness training is also an integral part of this club.

Tae Kwon Do Club
Trampoline Club
The Tae Kwon Do Club practices the traditional Kang Duk Won style of this Korean Martial Art. Members learn self discipline, self-defence, sparring, meditation and philosophy as well as enjoy physical fitness. All are pursued at the members pace.
The Trampoline Club introduces students to the sport of trampoline. This club teaches safe trampoline techniques and works to create a fun and enjoyable learning and training atmosphere. Beginners welcome and all sessions are led by experienced and certified instructors.

Competitive Clubs Baseball The baseball team is a member of the Cana¬dian Intercollegiate Baseball Association and competes against other Canadian Colleges and Universities. This year, those include York University, Durham College, and St. Clair College in Windsor. Cheerleading The Queen’s co-ed competitive cheerleading team will again be vying for the prestigious title of National Champions. After losing out by a slight margin last year, they are even more determined than ever to regain their National Title status. The team not only competes but appears at football and basketball games. Women’s Field Hockey moves indoor once the OUA competitive season closes and this club invites a competitive group to train four times each week and compete in an exhibition circuit. Open to students only.

The Queen’s Mountain Biking team competes in the University Cup series in the fall, which consists of 4 cross country races, one dirt criterium, and one time trial. The University Cups are held at some of Ontario’s best mountain biking venues, including Mansfield, Ganaraska Forest, Hardwood Hills, and Boler Mtn. Points are accumulated by teams throughout the season and at the final race the school with the most points is crowned champion. In the spring, the team travels to the ECCC road races in the United States, which are held at schools such as Tufts, Princeton, and Penn State. In addition to the collegiate racing seasons, team members often travel to non-collegiate races together and group training rides are held throughout the year.

Men’s Lacrosse The Men’s Lacrosse team is a member of the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association who competes against McGill, Bishop’s and Carleton.

Competitive Clubs Sailing
Triathlon
The Queen’s Sailing Team offers a unique experience to Canadian students - we are the only Canadian school that competes as a full member of the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA). Every year, the team races in over 25 regattas in the highly competitive Middle Atlantic district (MAISA) – widely acknowledged to be the best district in North America - against major sailing schools such as Georgetown, UPenn, Hobart and William Smith, Princeton, St. Mary’s and the US Naval Academy. The team travels all across the eastern seabord, from New York to Annapolis and as far south as Virginia. In 2007, the team travelled to La Rochelle, France to represent Canada in the Student Yachting World Cup. Located on the breezy eastern end of Lake Ontario, Queen’s is an obvious choice for sailors. Queen’s Sailing Team members train out of the Kingston Yacht Club, an ideal venue that is only minutes from campus, in our fleet of 10 brand new 420s, and 10 Flying Juniors. Queen’s Sailing Team members also train regularly in privately-owned Lasers and Radials (storage at KYC is available).
The triathlon team is open to all members of the Queen’s community. We are a competitive club with six races per school year. All members who train with us do not have to race. The triathlon team has three swim practices a week at the PEC. While it is warm outside we lead two or three outdoor cycling practices and two or three outdoor run practices in the week. Our coaches are volunteer students and therefore a schedule cannot be made until classes are finalized, but the practice schedule will be posted on our website: www.queenstri.com in the middle of September. Synchro Queen’s Synchro is one of the largest and strongest clubs in the Canadian University Synchronized Swimming League. We are made up of two competitive teams, a novice team and a variety of duets and solos. Queen’s has placed on the podium for many years and were National Champions in 2007. We enjoy promoting the sport through undergraduate and graduate programs. New swimmers are always welcome - feel free to contact us for any information.

Men’s and Women’s Ultimate Ultimate is a team sport played on a grass field with end zones similar to those used in American football. Each team has 7 players on the field in games to 13 points. Teams advance the disc by passing it to one another, with one point scored for each time it’s caught in the end zone. No player can run with the disc, and the opposing team may intercept the disc at any time while it is in the air. Athletes must possess an incredible combination of endurance, speed, agility, technique, and teamwork. Because the sport is played without referees, the athletes share a strong commitment to fair play, even in top competition. Players must arbitrate their own calls in the heat of competition using a well-refined system of rules. Intramurals Team Registration
Teams registering in an intramural sports league must submit a completed entry form and the league performance bond to complete their registration. Online registration may also be available – check our website for up-to-date information. Where applicable, team entry fees must also be paid with registration. For leagues that require a “Players Pass”, individuals are responsible to purchase their own pass prior to their first game. Fall and full-year league entry will open on Wednesday September 16th at 10am. Online Registration is also available this year – https://secure.gogaelsgo.com. Each Queen’s student has been emailed a username and password. Fall league entries will be accepted until noon on the following Saturday. Mandatory captains meetings will be held during the next 3-4 days. Meeting schedules will be posted on the website. Teams not attending the captains meeting shall forfeit 50% of their performance bond. Space within a particular division is limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams must ensure they are available to play in any game slot indicated by their divisional choice. They should not register for a division where there will be a night-class conflict. Teams wishing to compete in 2nd semester must re-register their team in the same process. Registrations for 2nd semester leagues will open on the third Monday in October. Any new teams, or teams that default out of 1st semester, must attend a new captains meeting, to be held early in December.
Individual Registration
Many Faculty Societies take part in Athletics & Recreation Open house. This showcase event allows societies to run sign-ups in a controlled fashion, to create society based teams for submission. A&R Open House takes place on the first Tuesday of classes in the ARC (Athletics & Recreation Centre), from 4pm-8pm.

Individuals who just want to get on any team may register as a “free-agent” at the ARC front desk. If enough free agents register and space permits, a new team will be formed. Otherwise, free-agent lists will be used to offset team rosters that are lower than the requirement, or teams that default a game.
Eligibility
Fall & Winter (September 1 – April 30): All fulltime graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to participate. All part-time graduate & undergraduate students, and visiting (exchange/internship) students, must pay their Queen’s Athletics & Recreation Fee, in order to participate. Faculty, staff, and community members are not eligible to participate in the Fall/Winter Intramural sports leagues (the only exception is the soccer dome league). Spring & Summer (May 1 – August 31): All full-time graduate students are eligible to participate. All part-time graduate, undergraduate (full or part-time), faculty, staff, and community members, must pay their Queen’s Athletics & Recreation Summer Fee, in order to participate. An individual may play for one team per sport, not one in each division or league. (i.e. one coed volleyball team, not one in each level). NEW 2009-2010: All players must present their student/membership card to the game official at each game, for verification against the game score sheet. Any players not on the score sheet must register at the front desk with the team, before they compete.
Intramurals Discipline and Conduct
Participants and teams must always conduct themselves in a respectful & sportsmanlike manner. Any conduct deemed in appropriate by the game official or intramural staff, may result in suspensions being assessed. A complete listing of disciplinary policies is posted on our website.
Scheduling All indoor fall & winter Intramural leagues will be made up of an 8-game season, plus playoffs. Outdoor sports will be a 6-game season plus playoffs. Leagues running over both semesters will divide the available facility time equally amongst all teams. All Intramural schedules will be posted online. Teams are expected to be available for any game within their division. Where an academic conflict arises (midterm exams), the schedule will be modified accordingly, provided 7 days notice is given. Other conflicts (personal) may be considered if facility time is available and the opposing team is in agreement. All reschedule requests must be made in writing to the Intramural Coordinator a minimum of 7 days prior to the game. 2009-2010 Dates: Because of the dates of certain Statutory Holidays and other special events this year, there will be some Intramural games played on February 7th (Superbowl Sunday) and March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day).
Defaults Each team must have a minimum number of players ready to play within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time, or they will be charged with a default. • For a team’s first default, they shall forfeit 50% of their performance bond, and be charged 2 points in the league standings. They shall also take on some players from the free-agent list (if applicable). • For a team’s second default, they shall forfeit the remainder of their performance bond, and shall be removed from the balance of the schedule.
• Where there is a waiting list, the first team will be given the opportunity to assume the remainder of the removed team’s games.
Playoffs Following each league, there will be a playoff tournament. As a guideline, the top 50% of teams remaining in the league, to the nearest multiple of 4, will advance to the playoff tournament. A maximum of 16 teams will advance. Where there are multiple divisions, an equal number of teams from each division will advance. Any remaining slots will be given to “wildcard” teams. The wildcard team(s) will be seeded lowest in the playoff bracket, regardless of their in-league record. Many Intramural leagues have moved to a single-multi day tournament format for their playoffs. Tournament dates will be announced at captains meetings, to allow teams enough time to arrange their availability. If a team is unable to compete in the playoffs due to other commitments, and the playoff schedule cannot be altered, the next placed team in their league shall assume their playoff seeding. To be eligible to participate in the playoffs, an individual must have played in 50% of the league games. This attendance is tracked from the scorecards. If an individual does not sign the scorecard, they shall not be considered to have played in that game. It is the responsibility of the team captain and players, to ensure the scorecard is accurate. Game officials are instructed to check that the number of names on the scorecard equals the number of players present on the team. Exemptions to the playoff eligibility rule may be granted by the Intramural Coordinator, for the following reason. • Injury/Illness: the player must present a doctor’s note indicating the date of the injury and the expected recovery time. Any games within that time period would be removed from the player’s requirement, and they would have to play in 50% of the remaining games.

Intramurals • Academics: if a player must write a midterm or final examination during a game, that game shall be removed from the player’s requirement, and they would have to play in 50% of the remaining games. Night class shall not be considered an academic conflict, as the team should not have registered for that section. If a player is on exchange or internship out of the city of Kingston, they must present notice from their department of that placement. Any games within that time period would be removed from the player’s requirement, and they would have to play in 50% of the remaining games.
BEWIC Sports Days The annual highlight of the Queen’s Intramural program is BEWIC Sports Days being held on January 15/16, 2010. This recreational sports marathon involves over 1100 participants. 32 co-ed teams(minimum 30 players per team) participate in 4 sports (Wallyball, Rugby-Basketball, Innertube Waterpolo, and Floorball). Each team plays a minimum of 3 games in each sport. Competitive, Spirit, and Overall Championships are handed out at the post-event banquet. All participants receive their teams games, a catered banquet, souvenir t-shirt, and a weekend full of fun and excitement. This is the only recreational event that takes over the Athletics Complex during the entire year. Registration packages are available after Thanksgiving, with entry opening November 2nd. One captains meeting is held in late November, the other in the first week back after the holiday break.
Open Tournaments Based on facility availability, the Intramural program will convene 1-day and/or 2-day tournaments throughout the year. These tournaments will be open to anyone (non Queen’s members welcome). All teams will pay an entry fee to subsidize the cost of operating the tournament. Tournaments offered should provide a wide variety of sport opportunities. Tournament dates should be spread out through the fall and winter semesters.

Officiating Queens’ Intramurals employs over 100 student officials for all its leagues and tournament games. Interested in a job in a sport you love? Consider becoming an official. Mandatory training sessions will be held: Saturday September 19th: 9am-12pm: Volleyball 1pm-4pm: Basketball Sunday September 20th: 9am-12pm: Soccer 1pm-4pm: Hockey Monday September 21st: 8:30pm-10pm: Innertube Waterpolo Fees range from $13-$20 per game, depending on the sport. Weights and Cardio Cardiovascular and Strength Training Areas The exercise areas at Queen’s University include 2 free weight training rooms, squash and racquetball courts, machine based strength training equipment and over 100 individual pieces of cardiovascular training equipment. The main training areas are located on the second floor. A heavy weight training room is available on Lower Level 1. If you have any questions or concerns while using the facility, do not hesitate to speak with the on duty supervisor. These staff members will be monitoring the weight rooms and the cardiovascular training areas throughout the day and evening. Other exercise facilities available in the building include a swimming pool, stretching area, 3 gymnasiums and a combatives room. For sign up policy, change the 25 minutes to 30 minutes.

In order to be eligible for “Student” rates on Instructional Programs, students MUST be currently enrolled full-time or part-time and have paid their student athletic fees. Part-time students who have not paid their student athletic fees will be charged the “Q Members” rate, providing they have purchased a building membership. Individuals who do not hold a P.E.C. building membership will be charged the “non-member” rate.

Intermediate Fencing Designed for experienced youth and adult fencers who are looking to improve their skill and technique. Prior completion of a Queen’s fencing program, or a similar program, an asset. Minimum age 14 yrs old. Maximum 18 participants. All equipment provided. Gym shoes & light track pants required. 12 week session. Classes will run during Reading Week.
Full refunds will be issued (less $8.00 administration fee) up to three (3) working days prior to the start date of the program. Following this, no refunds will be issued.

This elite program initiative is targeted at experienced teenage and adult fencers who seek advanced training in an atmosphere geared toward competition. Pilates for Breast Cancer Rehab This class is designed with quality, slow, controlled Pilates movements and breathing techniques that are modified to meet the many needs and stages of breast cancer rehabilitation. The instructor will introduce you to many important techniques which can assist with easing the various stages of rehabilitation including fighting the effects of bone density loss, which can be a result from chemo, by utilizing weight bearing exercises to assist with building bone density, working through, and to increase, an individual’s range of motion, which can become limited due surgery or scar tissue. This cardio-based workout focuses on the fitness and conditioning aspect of Muay Thai martial arts. This class is lead by Mike Martelle, who is one of only 10 Bramajarns in the WORLD! It combines 50 minutes of high intensity training drills, calisthenics, Thai pad drills, and working on kicking drills. Students will learn to punch, elbow, clinch, knee, and kick. This fun, multi-style class introduces participants to the benefits of acrobatic concepts with a yoga consciousness. Partner and group work will be explored as well as individual conditioning including balance, coordination and strength building in a fun, fit way! Come with an open mind and a sense of humour. Fitness Can-Fit-Pro (Personal Trainer Specialist Course – PTS)

Can-Fit-Pro as created a new multimedia learning process for the PTS course as well as an updated and more comprehensive manual. The PTS program has the integration of independent online learning for the theoretical concepts and an in-person course where candidates further hone their practical skills. It is strongly recommended that the on-line portion is completed before the start of the in-person course as it assists in prepping each candidate for the in-person content. Delivered by a qualified PRO trainer, the in-person course will increase your knowledge and confidence to train clients 1-on-1 or in a small group (2-3 people) setting. Topics include: fitness theory, components of a workout, cardiovascular and resistance training, nutritional counseling and weight management. Course fee and Manual & Study guide fee are separate. A qualified Fitness Instructor Specialist can lead groups in various formats of cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength and endurance training, stretching and relaxation, or a calming cool-down. A Can-Fit-Pro certified FIS is knowledgeable about different types of music, understands how to use music in a group setting, keeps current on the latest fitness trends and is able to give generalized advice about healthy living and proper nutrition. Youth Athlete Conditioning Program This program is designed to improve speed, agility, power and balance through use of superior training modalities. A mobility assessment will enable us to find muscular issues that may cause injury and decrease performance. Individual training goals will be set to correct these problems. The “Lifting Through…” series is a strength and conditioning program for women within the Queen’s, K.G.H, and Kingston communities. Exercises are completed in a circuit with emphasis placed upon enjoyable, challenging and attainable goals. Maximum 20 participants. 8 week session.
Sample three different fitness activity entrees over the lunch hour each week: Circuit Strength, Spin (cycle class) and Boot Camp. Choose just one or all 4 weeks. Maximum 20 participants. 4 week session. 3 classes per week. Circuit Strength is an introduction to proper strength training techniques in a circuit setting. It is an effective and fun full-body workout.

This program has been developed and refined over the past 10 years to provide a place for seniors to focus on improvements in strength, balance, stability and self-confidence. We continue to help people overcome fears, disease and ill health with this successful program.
Bored with the gym? This outdoor total-body fitness program is a fun way to get out and get fit. It will include circuit training, core strengthening, cardiovascular training, functional training and stretching. Maximum 14 participants. 8 week session.
Introductory Session - The Introductory sessions provide detailed instruction to beginner exercisers in the techniques for strength training, balance and coordination improvement, flexibility, breathing and a variety of individualized components of fitness. Maximum 20 participants. 8 week session.

Water Running Clinic
You’ve got the strength…but do you have the HEART? If you want to sweat and see what proper cardio training consists of, how to do it, and what it can do for you, take the cardio challenge! Interval training, hill training, plyometrics and more will help sculpt and build your cardio training and YOU! Maximum 20 participants. 8 week session.
This water running clinic introduces you to the benefits of a low impact water activity for athletes, those recovering from an injury or those new to fitness. This is a completely non-weight bearing activity that most closely replicates the activity of running on land. By using the resistance of the water a full body workout, without injury, is the result. During the workshop you will experience various drills and exercises with resistance that include interval work and timed drills to develop and/ or maintain an individual’s cardiovascular and muscular strength. Basic swimming ability and comfort in deep water is a pre-requisite. Maximum 10 participants.

Personal Training All of our personal training options are lead by certified, experienced exercise specialists. Each one-on-one exercise session is designed to provide you with professional instruction, monitoring, guidance and support during your exercise program.
Consultation (30mins):
Meet with one of our exercise specialists to determine fitness history, current fitness involvement and desired individual needs and goals and individual program design to reach those goals. Cost: $40.00
Personal Training (1 hour):
One-on-one with an exercise specialist Cost: $50.00 per session
Get Fit! (3 hours):
Three session to a healthier, happier you! Includes a fitness consultation and 2, one-on-one PT sessions. Cost: $95.00
New You 10 Pack (10 hours): Get the most out of consistent training with an exercise specialist. See the results! 10 one-on-one sessions. Fitness Plus Program NEW! Spin is coming in the New Year!!! This program will allow you to participate in any of the scheduled fitness or spin classes(winter only) on the weekly schedule. Over 20 classes per week will be offered. Space is limited to 40 people per fitness class, and 20 per spin class. 15 week session per term. You must REGISTER for this program. Check the schedule carefully for class times and locations! There will be a modified schedule for Thanksgiving and Reading week. Please check www.gogaelsgo.com for up-to-date schedules. Student/Members: Fall term only: $89 Winter term only: $109 September to April: $170 Non-member: Fall term only: $100 Winter term only: $115 September to April: $195 Drop-in (must be a member): $8.00 per fitness class, $12.00 per spin class. Please pay at the customer service desk prior to the class. Fitness Plus members have priority during any class on the schedule. Free Classes (Fall only) All student, staff, and faculty members are welcome to try Free group fitness classes that are specifically marked classes on the Fitness Plus schedule (6 per week). (Fitness Plus members have priority) You must sign a waiver form, available at customer service, prior to attending any free class. The free classes will alter with each new term to ensure a variety of class types and times are offered. If you decide you want the opportunity to take more classes you can join the Fitness Plus program to enjoy a wider variety of group fitness & spin classes each week. This challenging aerobic workout will push your combinations & cardio to a new level. Classes may include hand weights &/or utilize one or two steps during the class.
Kardio Kick
A great cardio sweat combining aerobics with boxing & kickboxing jabs, jacks, kicks, skipping & more.
Sculpt & Ab Blast
Work your muscular endurance & strength conditioning with hand weights and bands for a full body workout. Finish it off with an “abs only� blast!
Step & Ab Blast
Get the challenge of step choreography with the cardio burn and finish with a blast to your core and a stretch.
Sculpt & Tone
Use of hand weights, bands, or body weight will increase your strength & endurance while flexibility work will keep you balanced.
Spin
This 45 minute all-level class mixes up strength & interval training to create a fun ride!
Spin Express This 45 minute all-level class packs it all in so that you have an efficient workout similar to the All Terrain class, but the compact version! The pony express of spin classes!
All Terrain Spin
This 75 minute class covers various terrain including flats, hills, includes acceleration drills & recovery. The rider gets both an anaerobic and aerobic workout on this ride!

Level 01
Adult Stroke Improvement Want to improve your swimming skills? No better way! Certified instructors will help you become more efficient.
Bronze Cross Certified by the Lifesaving Society. Sessions include both lectures and pool sessions. Books not included. Minimum age 14 years unless otherwise stated. Prerequisite: Current Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid.
