The boundary between the open exterior and the controlled interior is clearly legible. The lobby is treated as a public space, a free and open area to the public 24/7, and thanks to happenings (food, movie projection,…) the building will always attract visitors. Proposing a very flexible space, to host different activities and arts, the gallery space is clearly readable and allows everybody to appropriate a part of itself for a while.

The Glaçon shrill whiteness is an invitation in the cityscape. Playing with the sloping of Kungsgatan, it is conceived as a public urban space, with slopes and steps to offer various opportunities for people to pass time. Working as an extension of Carolux Rex panorama offering a 360° view towards the city, the roof is also use as a 360m2 outdoor exhibition space.
