What is Animation? Animation creates the illusion of movement by showing still images in sequence. Cartoons are actually comprised of many separate images, each differing slightly from the one before it. Classical or hand-drawn animation was the process used for most animated films of the 20th century (think: Disney). Not into drawing? Animation is much more than just cartoons: it can be made in many simple ways including cut-out characters, 3D computer programs, plastercine and puppets to name a few. At Quickdraw, we teach you to bring your stories and ideas to life!
