never be okay – or we resign ourselves to having a mediocre instead of the oft dreamed of glorious life we had envisioned.

Expectations can ruin your life. Our preconceived notion about how things should be is so different than our reality that we feel dissatisfied.

For me, I had this idea in my mind of what my life should look like. Despite the fact that I had a rough start, when I got married I had high expectations of what my new life would be like. I wanted a perfect life. I wanted a perfect marriage, children, and a perfect Hebrew home.

How to find YAH’s Peace (Shalom) in all the right places…. When the past hurts, and we feel unlovable, we hold on to things that we really need to let go. Clutter piles up in our closets and drawers, in our hearts and in our homes. And we feel the need to escape our reality.

Do you see what’s wrong with this picture? We’re not in heaven yet! This life will never be perfect. My husband will never be perfect. My family will make mistakes. My house is old and needs work. We will face sickness, death, loss, grief, financial worries, frustrations, and more.

EXPECTATIONS Discouragement can creep in slowly over time as life in general doesn’t go as expected. It can also crowd our soul quickly when grief strikes or changes we didn’t ask for happens.

YAHUSHUA said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

You will have trouble. Life goes on whether or not we are discouraged and sometimes that means that we push aside our discouragement, never really dealing with the underlying issues in our heart. As we become more discouraged and more discontent we feel more and more overwhelmed until we feel like things will

Peace that lasts will never be found in the tangible things of this world. Peace that lasts will never be found in fallible people. True peace can only be found in YAHUSHUA who has overcome this world!

How We Escape

Real change comes when we choose to accept reality. Just like an alcoholic must

Unfortunately, we often look for peace in all the wrong places. Instead of going to the Source, the wellspring of life, we find escape in things like:

admit he has a problem, we too must admit there’s a problem and work to change our hearts and change our habits. Alcoholics often drink to numb the pain inside. And perfectly nice, sweet women often hide their pain in novels or social media. In order to have real healing we must face what’s really going on in our hearts and then deal with the reality of our cluttered homes.

        

novels alcohol/drugs toxic relationships television programs shopping food material possessions a career social media

Today’s Goal

There are so many ways we can escape from reality – even for just a little while. Instead of staying on top of the clutter in our hearts and homes, our weary souls tell us we need to take a break and fill the pain with something – anything to soothe the pain. Clutter and discouragement go hand in hand – like a vicious cycle the discouragement leads to more discouragement as clutter accumulates and piles up, whether it be mental clutter, or emotional clutter, or soul clutter, or physical clutter. We don’t want to deal with it.

What things in your life are masking the pain of your reality?

Think about how you escape from reality….How would your time be better served?

Pray about making hard decisions – about what things you should keep, preserve, or let go. Fill at least one bag or box full of stuff to give away. Pick up a journal and write down your thoughts about what YHWH has shown you. Choose an area in your home you want to tackle. Do your best to wake up early tomorrow and spend time in prayer. Use your prayer journal. I’ll be waking up around 6:00 am.

Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Ěliyah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of ‫יהוה‬: Mal 4:6 and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

1Ki 17:1And Elijah… [‫]אליהו‬

Within the name of each prophet, a summation of their message is revealed; what does Elijah’s name reveal? Allow the Holy Scripture to bring it forth:

Mat 17:10 And His taught ones asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Ěliyah has to come first?” Mat 17:11 And ‫ יהושע‬answering, said to them, “Ěliyah is indeed coming first, and shall restore all.

Why Elijah? PART TWO The story of Elijah the Prophet begins in the following passage: 1Ki 17:1And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, AsYahuehmighty One of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

Psa 22:1To the chief Musician upon AijelethShahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God [‫]אלי אלי‬, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Compare this passage with the last words of Messiah:

Mat 27:46And about the ninth hour ‫יהושע‬ cried with a loud voice, saying, ELI, ELI, LAMASABACHTHANI? that is to say, MY GOD, MY GOD, why hast thou forsaken me? Mat 27:47Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, THIS MANCALLETH FOR ELIJAH.

The onlookers even thought he was calling on Elijah, a testimony to how his name was pronounced. Also compare: Psa 68:4Sing unto Mighty One, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him.

Hence, according to scriptural evidence, the name Elijah means “My Mighty One (is) Yah”! But what does that mean to us? According to

modern scholarship the name Yah is a ‘nickname’ for the Most High Yahueh. Contrary to popular opinion, or, the widely accepted explanation, the name Yah is not just a shortened form of the Tetragrammaton (four lettered name), but a name that stands on its own; THE name that is born by our Heavenly Father, the focal point of Messiah’s message, and, shall be, the focal point of Elijah’s! But, if Yah is the name of our Heavenly Father, who is Yahueh, many might ask? Yahueh is the name given to the Word of Yah before He became flesh and blood. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/qul_alahiym/20 15/06/09/qul-alahiym-presents-the-truth-shallprevail

What is the significance of the term “Tishbite?” Below is a listing of each passage the term “Tishbite” can be found:

1Ki 21:17 And the word of ‫ יהוה‬came to ELIJAH THE TISHBITE, saying, 1Ki 21:28 And the word of ‫ יהוה‬came to ELIJAH THE TISHBITE, saying, 2Ki 1:3 But the angel of ‫ יהוה‬said to ELIJAH THE TISHBITE… 2Ki 1:8 And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, ItisELIJAH THE TISHBITE.

Let’s take a look at what was going on during the time Elijah was brought onto the scene in ancient Israel. 1Ki 16:28So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead. 1Ki 16:29And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years. 1Ki 16:30And Ahab the son of Omri did EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF THE WERE BEFORE HIM.

LORD ABOVE ALL THAT

1Ki 16:31 And it came to pass, AS IF IT HAD BEEN A LIGHT THING for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. 1Ki 16:32And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. 1Ki 16:33And Ahab made a grove; AND AHAB DID MORE TO PROVOKE THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL TO ANGER THAN ALL THE KINGS OF ISRAEL THAT WERE BEFORE HIM.

This is the gravity of the situation in Israel when we’re introduced to Elijah. What do we learn next about him in our current passage? 1Ki 17:1b…the Tishbite…[‫]התׁשבי‬

2Ki 9:36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, Thisis the word of ‫יהוה‬, which he spake by his servant ELIJAH THE TISHBITE, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

What is the significance of the term “Tishbite?” Why is Elijah the only person mentioned as being a “Tishbite?” Why was it mentioned six times? The definition of the term is as follows: H8664 ‫ׁשבִּי‬ ְׁ ִּ‫ת‬ tish-bee' Patrial from an unused name meaning recourse; a Tishbite or inhabitant of Tishbeh (in Gilead):

Recourse comes from the Latin recursus, which means a running back, past participle of recurrere, to run back. This shows that it is derived from the following term

Probably from H1567; Gilad, a region East of the Jordan; also the name of three Israelites:

H7725 ‫ׁשּוב‬ shoob A primitive root; to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively (not necessarily with the idea of return to the starting point); generally to retreat; often adverbially again:

H1567 ‫ַּג ְׁלעֵד‬ gal-ade' From H1530 and H5707; heap of testimony; Galed, a memorial cairn East of the Jordan:

The letters shin (‫ )ׁש‬and beth (‫ )ב‬being the parent root, i.e. a substantive form of the word “Tishbite;” but what does this teach us about Elijah? In Malachi 4:6 we are taught about Elijah “and heshall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers,” the phrase “and he shall turn” being translated from the word ‘shub’ listed above. So far we’ve learned that Elijah will proclaim “my Mighty One is Yah,” and, be tasked with turning the hearts of the sons back to the fathers, as also indicated by the term “Tishbite;” what else do we learn? Our passage continues:

H1530 ‫גַּל‬ gal gal From H1556; something rolled, that is, a heap of stone or dung (plural ruins); by analogy a spring of water (plural waves): H1556 ‫ָגלַּל‬

1Ki 17:1c …of Gilead…[‫]גלעד‬

the

inhabitants

of

Again, we come to another name in our introduction to Elijah; what are we being taught from its definition?

gaw-lal' A primitive root; to roll (literally or figuratively):

H1568

H5707

‫ִּג ְׁלעָד‬

‫עֵד‬

ghil-awd'

ayd

From H5749 contracted; concretely a witness; abstractly testimony; specifically a recorder, that is, prince:

Let’s put this all together; Elijah will proclaim “my Mighty One is Yah,” turn the sons back to the fathers, ultimately the Most High, but “turn back” can also refer to Israel’s leadership; and all this connected to his being a witness for the Most High. We acquire this information simply from examining the names mentioned in Holy Scripture, beginning the story of Elijah. Let’s continue…

than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

Now, let’s compare this to what we’re taught by Moses in his teaching to Israel: Deu 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other mighty ones, and worship them; Deu 11:17 And thenthe wrath of‫יהוה‬ be kindled against you, AND HE SHUT UP THE HEAVEN, THATTHERE BE NO RAIN, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which ‫ יהוה‬giveth you.

1Ki 17:1d …said unto Ahab, ‫יהוה‬Mighty One of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, THERE SHALL NOT BE DEW NOR RAIN THESE YEARS, BUT ACCORDING TO MY WORD.

Why are we introduced to him in this manner? Take into consideration the following passage: Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime WERE WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

First, we must remember the state of Israel under Ahab’s leadership: 1Ki 16:30And Ahab the son of OmriDID EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF‫יהוה‬above all that were before him. 1Ki 16:33AND AHAB MADE A GROVE; and Ahab did more to provoke ‫יהוה‬Mighty One of Israel to anger

So, Elijah enacts the word originally spoken by Moses, because of Israel’s apostasy; this will set the tone for the remainder of Elijah’s ministry. The story continues… 1Ki 17:2And the word of ‫ יהוה‬came unto him, saying, 1Ki 17:3Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, thatis before Jordan.

H3747 ‫כ ְִּׁרית‬ ke ker-eeth' From H3772; a cut; Kerith, a brook of Palestine: H3772 ‫כ ַָּרת‬

kaw-rath'

o-rabe', o-rabe'

A primitive root; to cut (off, down or asunder); by implication to destroy or consume; specifically to covenant (that is, make an alliance or bargain, originally by cutting flesh and passing between the pieces):

From H6150; a raven (FROM ITS DUSKY HUE):

This term appears in verse 5 as a reference to the same place; but it also appears in the following passage:

aw-rab'

H6150 ‫ע ַָּרב‬

A primitive root (rather identical with H6148 through the idea of covering with a texture); to grow dusky at sundown:

Psa 40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; MINE EARSHAST THOU OPENED

(‫)כ ְִּׁרית‬: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

What are we being taught here? Does this passage teach that Elijah’s hiding “by the brook Cherith” indicates something about him would be opened? Would it be HIS ears? Does it indicate that an alliance, a covenant would be made between him and the Most High? Let’s dig a little further;

1Ki 17:4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded THE RAVENS (‫ )ואת־הערבים‬TO FEED THEE THERE.

Why were the ravens to feed Elijah there? Furthermore, why would the Most High command the ravens to feed him? What does the Holy Scripture teach about ravens? H6158 ‫עֹורב ע ֵֹרב‬ ֵ

H6148 ‫ע ַָּרב‬ aw-rab' A primitive root; to braid, that is, intermix; technically to traffic (as if by barter); also to give or be security (as a kind of exchange):

What’s even more interesting is the formation of the term as it appears in the Hebrew language, which reveals more about what the Most High was actually doing. The term is written (‫ – הערבים‬ha’aberiym – the ravens), which is a plural form. This formation is used THIRTEEN times only, in the Holy Scriptures; eleven times has it translated “the evening,” once as “the ravens,” as in our current passage & “the willows” in the following passage: Isa 15:7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.

What is a willow? Interestingly, and on a side note, the active extract of the willow bark, called salicin, synthetically altered, formally acetylsalicylic acid, WAS NAMED ASPIRIN, giving rise to the hugely important class of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. But, back to the raven, why the ravens? We are introduced to this bird in the following passage: Gen 8:6And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: Gen 8:7And he sent forth the raven (‫)את־הערב‬, WHICH WENT FORTH TO AND FRO, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

What is the significance of the raven being let loose first, then, followed by Noach[Noah] letting three doves loose, in a row? Lev 11:15Every RAVENafter his kind… Deu 14:14And every RAVENafter his kind… Isa 34:11But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also AND THE RAVENshall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.

In our passages above, does the going “to and fro” indicate uncleanness being spread? The raven is listed with the unclean birds; birds of prey forbidden to be eaten by Israel. Why was this bird, an unclean bird, the choice of the Most High, used to feed Elijah? Let’s look at some other passages:

Job

38:41WHO PROVIDETHFOR THE RAVEN HIS FOOD? When his young ones cry unto Mighty One, they wander for lack of meat.

Psa 147:9He giveth to the beast his food, AND TO THE YOUNG RAVEN WHICH CRIES.

Now let’s tie things together; we’re taught that the term translated as ‘raven’ derives from a term meaning ‘to intermix’, but also refers to ‘darkness’, and, it’s an unclean bird. Prophetically, this points to an unclean/demonic spirit, a “ruler of darkness”, if you follow. It is the Most High that provides ‘food’ to this bird, which in turn, is used to feed Elijah. Question; considering that Elijah is commanded to “drink of the brook” which name means ‘to open’ or ‘cut a covenant’; does this teach that Elijah will become acquainted with the Word of Yah, then, being fed by ravens, become familiar with the ‘darkness’? Darkness being spread indicated by the raven going “to and fro”; a darkness that was prevalent during the reign of Ahab, and, apparent in our day? Let’s continue his story: 1Ki 17:5So he went AND DID ACCORDING UNTO THE WORD OF‫יהוה‬: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 1Ki 17:6Andthe ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

This would then represent one of the stages of preparation and development in the life of Elijah. Let’s continue… 1Ki 17:7And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, BECAUSE THERE HAD BEEN NO RAIN IN THE LAND. 1Ki 17:8And the word of ‫ יהוה‬came unto him, saying,

1Ki 17:9Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I HAVE COMMANDED A WIDOW THERE TO SUSTAIN THEE.

WOMAN

What are we being taught now?

From H6679 in the sense of catching fish; fishery; Tsidon, the name of a son of Canaan, and of a place in Palestine:

H6679 ‫צּוד‬

H6886 ‫צ ְָׁרפַּת‬

tsood

From H6884; refinement; Tsarephath, a place in Palestine:

A primitive root; to lie alongside (that is, IN WAIT); by implication to catch an animal (FIGURATIVELY MEN); (denominative from H6718) to victual (FOR A JOURNEY):

H6884

When we compare this definition above to the passages listed below:

ephath

tsaw-ref-ath'

Mat 4:1Then was ‫ יהושע‬led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil…

‫צ ַָּרף‬ tsaw-raf' A primitive root; to fuse (metal), that is, refine (literally or figuratively):

When something is ‘refined’ it is being freed from impurities and brought to a pure state; will Elijah be responsible for refining something? Remember… Mat 17:11And ‫ יהושע‬answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, AND RESTORE ALL THINGS.

What else are we taught? H6721

Mat 4:11Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Mat 4:12Now when ‫ יהושע‬had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee… Mat 4:17From that time ‫ יהושע‬began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mat 4:18 And ‫יהושע‬, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. Mat 4:19And he saith unto them, Follow me, AND I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN.

‫צִּיד ֹן צִּידֹון‬ tsee-done', tsee-done'

Is this an indication that Elijah will play a similar role during the ministry appointed to him, as a “fisher of men”? Next we are told

about a widow woman sustaining him; what does this teach us? Who is this widow woman? Compare the following passage: Isa 54:4Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach OF THY WIDOWHOOD any more. Isa 54:5For thy Maker IS THINE HUSBAND; ‫ יהוה‬of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Mighty One of the whole earth shall he be called.

Israel is being referenced as having “widowhood” in the above passage; the Most high being acknowledged as her husband. But what is a widow? A widow is a woman whose spouse passed away and hasn’t remarried. Whvat are we being taught about Israel? Will they lose the Most High? Let’s continue in Yesh’yahu[Isaiah]... Isa 54:6 For‫ יהוה‬hath called thee AS A WOMAN FORSAKEN and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, WHEN THOU WAST REFUSED, saith thy Mighty One. Isa 54:7 FOR A SMALL MOMENT HAVE I FORSAKEN THEE; but with great mercies will I gather thee. Isa 54:8 IN A LITTLE WRATH I HID MY FACE FROM THEE FOR A MOMENT; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith‫ יהוה‬thy Redeemer.

Let’s compare this passage with something Yeremayahu[Jeremiah] reveals: Jer

31:31Behold, the days come, saith‫יהוה‬, that I will make A NEW COVENANT with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32Not according to the covenant that I made with

their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; WHICH MY COVENANT THEY BRAKE, although I was an husband unto them, saith‫יהוה‬: Jer 31:33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith‫יהוה‬, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Mighty One, and they shall be my people.

Another covenant will be made with Israel, a new covenant, because Israel broke the old one; i.e. they violated the original agreement necessitating a new contract be given. The old covenant will no longer be in effect, symbolic of the first marriage, and a new marriage will be made, but with who? This teaches the condition of Israel when Elijah comes on the scene. Let’s return to our story: 1Ki 17:10SO HE AROSE AND WENT TO ZAREPHATH. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 1Ki 17:11And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 1Ki 17:12 And she said, As‫ יהוה‬thy Mighty Oneliveth, I have not a cake, BUT AN HANDFUL OF MEAL IN A BARREL, AND A LITTLE OIL IN A CRUSE: and, behold, I am gathering

two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

What exactly are we being taught about the condition of Israel when Elijah arrives on the scene? The word translated as “cake” above is an infrequent term found in only two places in Holy Scripture; our passage above and Ps. 35:16 where it’s translated

“feasts”, indicating an entire meal. Bread or food oftentimes symbolizing the word of Yah, this serves as an example of how Israel will lack this very word. Compare the following passage: Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Master ‫יהוה‬, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, BUT OF HEARING THE WORDS OF‫יהוה‬: Amo 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, THEYSHALL RUN TO AND FRO TO SEEK THE WORD OF ‫יהוה‬, AND SHALL NOT FIND IT.

Elijah’s appearance, then, indicates that Israel will possess a scarce amount of the Most High’s word; but what else do we learn? 1Ki 17:13And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 1Ki 17:14For thus saith‫יהוה‬Mighty One of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that‫יהוה‬sendeth rain upon the earth. 1Ki 17:15And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 1Ki 17:16And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of ‫יהוה‬, which he spake by Elijah.

Now we see that during this time of famine, Israel will be sustained if they use what they have to sustain Elijah. Remember what the Most High said initially?“I HAVE COMMANDED A WIDOW WOMAN THERE TO SUSTAIN THEE.”

1Ki 17:17 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.

We are now introduced to the widow’s son. The fact that she has a son is an allusion to the following passage: Isa 7:14 Therefore the Master himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, AND BEAR A SON, and shall call his name Immanuel[with us is Mighty One]. Rev 12:1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Rev 12:2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered… Rev 12:5AND SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto Mighty One, and to his throne.

The widow woman is Israel; their previous marriage to the Most High being ended due to the death of the spouse. I.e., a change would take place (more on that later). Israelhas now brought forth a son, the son is symbolic of the Messiah, who, at the time of Elijah’s appearance, “fell

sick…that there was no breath left in him.” Some may interpret this as the

death of Messiah for our sins, but, contrary to that notion, it represents the death of Messiah in the sense that ISRAEL LOSES FAITH IN HIM. Due to the lack of the word of the Most High, ISRAEL LACKS UNDERSTANDING IN HIM. Compare Israel’s

belief in Messiah today; it’s as scattered as it was when Messiah walked the earth, some accept and believe, and some don’t. Among those who accept and believe, doctrine varies, creating disunity among Israel. But now, back to our story: 1Ki 17:18And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of ‫ ?האלהים‬Art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, AND TO SLAY MY SON? 1Ki 17:19And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. 1Ki 17:20And he cried unto ‫יהוה‬, and said, O ‫ יהוה‬my Mighty One, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? 1Ki 17:21And he stretched himself upon the child THREE TIMES, and cried unto ‫יהוה‬, and said, O ‫ יהוה‬my Mighty One, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. 1Ki 17:22And‫ יהוה‬heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, AND HE REVIVED. H2421 ‫ָחי ָה‬ khaw-yaw' A prim root (compare H2331, H2424); to live, whether literally or figuratively; causatively to revive:

The ministry of Elijah will surely be one of restoration; Elijah will restore Messiah Yahushua by teaching and giving proper understanding of the word of the Most High as it pertains to Messiah, thereby, “reviving” Yahushua our Messiah.

1Ki 17:23And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, SEE, THY SON LIVETH. 1Ki 17:24And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of Mighty One, AND THAT THE WORD OF‫יהוה‬IN THY MOUTH IS TRUTH.

Upon “reviving” and restoring the understanding about Messiah, it is then that Israel will see and acknowledge that Elijah is the prophet sent by the Most High and that he speaks the Word of the Most High. But this still is just part of Elijah’s story…to be continued

It is September 3rd of year 2016 and I am just a bee in a flower looking thru an open window. Shabbat Services have just concluded. Everyone is smiling and full of joy as they exit out of the Sanctuary and journey to their perspective homes. Yahushua bids everyone a fond farewell and waves as he blessed them all one last time with a resounding “Shalum Mishpacha!!! I’ll see you all soon!!” The service of the Elders was completed for the day except for one last thing, a de-briefing with the head honcho in this realm. The men all ventured into the meeting room as their custom was in one of the local libraries. It is now 8:35pm and the meeting concerning the next steps to be taken is convening. Yahushua asks that the minutes from last Shabbat be read to refresh everyone’s minds on the events of last week. Yahushua shakes his head assuredly that His highly trained staff is rightly on track. “Well done, my good and faithful servants!!” He exclaims. Then He looks around the table at all who were present in the meeting room and says, “Is there still MORE work to be accomplished?” Everyone nods their heads in agreement. He asks another question…“Are there any new agenda items that we would like to add to our list to be discussed and then pursued? For we know that it is not the hearer of my Word but the doer of my Word that My Father and I delight in. By the way…HE sends His blessings to you all.” As I listen in closely, I gaze at the blue paper on the table as he asks them….

Question: At the end of the meeting… If the Messiah still had an agenda that he was working from… what would it look like????

YHWH called to the man, "Where are you?" ~ Bereshyit 3:9

In addition to walking in harmony with YAH, Amos 3:3 provides another nuance of meaning. It also gives the idea of keeping an appointment. Did you know that you have an appointment with YAH? You do. It is there, written in eternity. In fact, ABBA wants to meet with you on a regular basis. I wonder just how many times each day that THE FATHER wants to speak to us, but He can't get a word in edgewise. HE might say, "I have wanted to talk to you for a long

time, but you are too busy. This morning I wanted to talk to you, but you didn't have any time for Me. You read the newspapers and watched TV and checked your Facebook page on your phone. You never opened MY Word. You never prayed. At lunch I tried to say something, but your prayer was so fast. Later I tried to talk with you‌. You have been so busy. You have an appointment with Me. Why don't you keep it?" Remember how Adam had an appointment with The MOST HIGH every day in the Garden? He would hear HIS voice of in the cool of the evening. One day Adam missed that appointment. ABBA said to Adam, "Where are you?"

I wonder if the FATHER would say that to some of us each day: "Where are you? Where were you? I have been looking for you. I wanted to speak to you. I want you to walk with Me, and I want to walk with you." Just imagine, the Creator of the Universe wants to spend time with you! Is there any appointment that is worth keeping more than this?

Resting from all of our work as our creator did

Proverbs 26:20 For lack of wood the fire goes out, And where there is no whisperer, contention quiets down.

1 Corinthians 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things which YHWH hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil,

John 6:41-43 Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, "I am the bread that came down out of heaven." They were saying, "Is not this Yahushua, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, 'I have come down out of heaven'?" Yahushua answered and said to them, "Do not grumble among yourselves.

Romans 16:17 Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

1 Timothy 1:3-4 As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of the Mighty One which is by faith.

Galatians 2:11 But when Kepha came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.

Proverbs 20:3 Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, But any fool will quarrel.

Matthew 5:25 "Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

Proverbs 3:30 Do not contend with a man without cause, If he has done you no harm.

2 Timothy 2:14 Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of YAH not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.

Most of us have probably heard the philosophical question “What came first; the chicken or the egg?” The answer to this question identified whether you had a belief in creationism or evolution. Those that believed in the account in Be’reshit would no doubt say the chicken was first. Our answer to our title question can also identify a few things about our own beliefs. One thing that it identifies is what we put our faith in - the Law or YAHUSHUA. How many videos, debates, and conversations have we experienced where the position or message was to obey the THURAH? This is not to say that one should not teach obedience to THURAH, however, I don’t think the teachings of YAHUSHUA support the idea that the first conversation we have with a lay person is anything else but first sharing with them the greatest gift of all- Salvation through the shed blood of YAHUSHUA. Hebrew Yisraelites seem more passionate about bringing people to the law rather than bringing them to accept salvation. It’s just too “Christian” to ask a person, “Are you saved?” or

“Have you heard the gospel?” As Hebrews, it was given to us to share the message of salvation. Shaul wrote in Romans 10:14, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?...” What are they suppose to hear from the Believers of Yahushua? We don’t have to guess, as Believers, we already have our script:

Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel [Yahushua died to reconcile us back to Yah] to every creature. 16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned.” We can see that He did not say, “Go out into the world and teach them to keep the sabbath!” It was once asked of us, “What are the Creator’s thoughts?” The answer was the salvation of mankind. His Word says plainly that ‘the wages of sin is death’; He knows what is going to befall His children who are lost DEATH. So He found the perfect way of escape for the children that He loves, “...but the gift of Yah is eternal life through YAHUSHUA HaMashiach our Master,” Rom. 6:23b. He did this because He loves His WHOLE creation. If the saving of souls is so important to Yah, how can that not be our first message. If we reference back to our opening question, our answer also reveals our love for humanity and Yah.

Where does the Law come in? The THURAH is the constitution of the nation of Yishra’Al. It belongs to anyone who has faith in the Most High and YAHUSHUA. On a practical level, it behooves us to ensure that a person we talk to is a citizen of the body before we bring them to obedience to the ways, laws, and statutes of His kingdom. Canadian laws do not apply to US citizens unless we move and becomes citizens of Canada. The laws of THURAH does not belong outside His nation. Rom.8:7 “..the carnal mind is enmity against Yah: for it is not subject to the THURAH of Yah, neither indeed can be.” His ways helps us to be good citizens; helps us to reflect our King; helps us to become into His image and likeness, but we cannot do or be any of that if we aren’t first saved and placed into His body. Matthew’s account of Yahushua’s last instructions to the disciples says, 28:19 “Go, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Ruach HaKodesh: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…”

A person is only baptized after they’ve been taught, i.e. heard, the gospel, then we teach them His ways. The word teach in verse 20 is didasko. According to the Thayer’s Greek lexicon it means, “to hold discourse with others in order to instruct them; to be a teacher; to impart instruction, to instill doctrine into one.” This word is the word which was chosen in the Septuagint for the Hebrew term thurah. Thurah comes after someone comes to faith in Yahushua. The message of salvation has to become the message of Hebrew Yisraelites who have a heart of love, as Abba does, for His children. If we continue to get stuck at debating the Law and attempt to bring people to Law before salvation; we may become guilty of preaching another gospel which comes with a curse, Gal. 1:9.

take place. There must be one to send information and there must be one to receive said information, otherwise it is pointless. Language and communication is something deliberate. So wouldn’t any communication that our Creator engages with us be any different? How did He communicate with us? If we believe he communicated with us what language did he use? A common mistake that people make regarding the word is taking what is written in the bible as the actual “word of GOD”. Many people believe thatthose words in the bible are the actual“words” that the Creator Himself said to man.

ZePHaN’YaH 3:9 Out of all of his creation human beings are that only ones that the scriptures say are made in the image and like ness of the Creator Genesis 1:26.One of the most unique abilities that we possess is the ability to communicate.

Communications to its highest levels are only possessed by humans…and YHWH gave us the ability to do so with intent and purpose. Think about a conversation. What happens when people communicate with each other?Regardless of the subject matter, the expectationis when one engages in some form of communication- in some instances a dialoguethat the words that are being expressed will be understood by whoever is on the receiving end. Why this expectation? Well, the words are the thoughts of that person. It is personal. The only way to know what someone is thinking is when they have decided to sharetheir thoughts. In order for this to be accomplished two things must

However, in reality that thinking is far from the truth. If you were like me, you only thought of the bible from an English language perspective. It is not until having been enlightened that I would come to learn that the bible was not a book originally written in the English language. The actual word of the Creator YHWH is often mistaken to be only what was translated by King James. To the contrary with study and divine revelation that we learn that the King James Version (KJV) in not only a translation, KJV often times does not properly deliver the idea and thought the author YHWH is trying to relate to the reader HIS children. Through prayer and study we will come to learn that YHWH did not speak to us in English but HE spoke to His children in an entirely different language called Hebrew.

The language of the Hebrews is very different than the English language. But what makes the

Hebrew language different or unique?

meaning of the word has something to do with strength or power which oxen are known for having. I find this to be fascinating!

Here is an example of how Hebrew is different than English.Think of any letter in the English

The more I study Hebrew the more I feel rewarded for the effort I have been putting in to learn this simple but beautiful language. It is worth your effort. Why you

language. What does it express? Let’s use the letterA.

The letter A tells the reader to make a sound whenever it is seen. That’s it. Depending on where the letter A is in a word it may denote to us a long of short sound. However, that is not the case with its Hebrew equivalent. The Hebrew equivalent to the English letter A is the Hebrew letter Aleph a. Take notice to the shape of this letter. If you look closely you may see that the letter looks like a drawing of an ox head. To the ancient Hebrew reader the letter a tells them three things. The letter denotes a sound like the English A but it also has a numeric value of 1. That would mean letter ais also used for mathematical calculation. The letter is also a symbol so it has a symbolic meaning as well. The letter a also symbolizes an ox,again notice how it looks like an ox head.

might ask is it worth your time and effort? Well, first and foremost it is the language that was used by our Heavenly Father. That alone is enough for me. But if you need more convincing consider this. In order for us to truly understand what our father is saying to us it would be in our best interest to learn the language that HE used. If you have ever encountered someone who speaks a different language than you, you may recall that at some point you and that person were not able get the thought or idea that you were trying to express to them. Sometimes things get lost in translation because they cannot be translated to a foreign tongue. There exists many of examples of this that bible naysayers use to their advantage in their attempts to dismiss the scriptures. Holding on to the sole authority of translation has even caused problems for believers of the scripture. However we are admonished in the word to “study to shew ourselves to be approved unto YHWH” 2 Timothy 2:15. The study of the language that our Creator used will give you a keener insight into HIS mind and HIS will. This is HIS desire as proved by the words spoken by the prophet Zephaniah. Zephaniah 3:9 states; For then will I (YHWH) turn to the

people a pure language that they may all call upon the name of the YHWH, to serve him To the ancient Hebrews the ox was a symbol of strength and power. So anytime this letter is seen at the beginning of a word the reader should automatically think power. As you take time to study more you will discover that just about every Hebrew word that begins with this letter, the

 What advice could you give to someone on the matter you avoid?

Corinthians 13 says, Love is patient. How important is patience? In this letter, it is the first aspect of LOVE. A very hard lesson to learn and even harder to master. Do you show patience in all situations? Most will say no. But it’s ok.

 What expectation would you have?

Have patience with yourself. There will be other opportunities to exercise this trait of love. When people read this passage they sometimes forget to apply the words in dealing with themselves. Why do you get frustrated with yourself? Are you not worthy of some patience from yourself? Life has trials and hardships and going through them develops our patience. Understanding situations causes us to have experience on a matter. Using our experience we develop an expected outcome. That’s how we give advice on situations after we been through some stuff.

So develop patience for yourself and understand how situations effect you. If the effect is not the desired outcome log it in your memory bank for future reference so you will know what to expect when you apply those actions to that situation. Then exercise some patience because the situation will come again. So have patience with yourself so you can be patient with others. Love is patient and kind, it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offense, nor is it resentful. Love takes no pleasure in others’ sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end. There are three things that last, faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.

(Romans 5:3-4). But imagine if you never have the patience to go through anything.

 What if you always avoid things that are not pleasant to you constantly? Shalom family.

Rarity I am a rarity in the world today. Since the dawn of man, I have been here and very few humans have known me. The Hebrews don’t teach me. Christians don’t understand me. Muslims philosophy me and for the most part, the majority has a distorted version of me. Let me give you some of my attributes… I am

have your wellbeing always first, I desire to have an intimate relationship with you. You know the one where we’re so close that if someone see you…they see me. I promise you, but only if you let me do my part. I know this goes against everything that you think you know and I am sure that it is not an easy thing to let me lead your life. But as I have done, with no hesitation nor compromising. I have truly loved you….

For I am…

11 For YAH is full of compassion and mercy, longsuffering, and very pitiful, and forgives sins, and saves in time of affliction. 12 Woe be to fearful hearts, and faint hands, and the sinner that goes two ways! 1 My child, if thou come to serve YAH, prepare thy soul for temptation. 2 Set thy heart aright, and constantly endure, and make not haste in time of trouble. 3 Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end. 4 Whatsoever is brought upon thee, take cheerfully, and be patient when thou art changed to a low estate. 5 For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity. 6 Believe in him, and he will help thee; order thy way aright, and trust in him. 7 Ye that fear YAH,, wait for his mercy; and go not aside, lest ye fall. 8 Ye that fear YAH, believe him; and your reward shall not fail. 9 Ye that fear YAH, hope for good, and for everlasting joy and mercy. 10 Look at the generations of old, and see; did ever any trust in YAH, and was confounded? or did any abide in his fear, and was forsaken? or whom did he ever despise, that called upon him?

13 Woe unto him that is fainthearted! for he believeth not; therefore shall he not be defended. 14 Woe unto you that have lost patience! and what will ye do when YAH shall visit you? 15 They that fear YAH will not disobey his Word; and they that love him will keep his ways. 16 They that fear YAH will seek that which is well, pleasing unto him; and they that love him shall be filled with the law. 17 They that fear YAH will prepare their hearts, and humble their souls in his sight, 18 Saying, We will fall into the hands of YAH and not into the hands of men: for as his majesty is, so is his mercy.

Hey Yawl!!! It’s a party!! And everyone is invited. Yup EVERYONE!!!!!! So bring all that you have….do what thy wilt and come and join in on the celebrating!!! It’s going to be a BLAST!!!! Sound like fun right???....Nope. Just the opposite. READ.

20 There is nothing bad about pleasing others, but when it becomes an obsession then it becomes sinful. People usually take advantage of the yes guy. The guy who if asked for a favor will always say yes out of fear of displeasing someone. Sometimes you have to speak your mind instead of what someone wants to hear. People-pleasing is why we have many greedy false teachers in Christianity like Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, etc. Rather than telling people the truth they want to make people happy and tell them false things they want to hear. You can’t serve YAH and always be a peoplepleaser. “If Yahushua had preached the same message that ministers preach today, He would never have been crucified.” Please YAH and do all things for that glory of YAH and not man. Don’t change the gospel because it offends someone. Don’t be afraid to tell someone the truth. If you take away, twist, or add to Scripture you will be going to that lake of fire. For everyday life as believers yes we should help people, but don’t put pressure on yourself. Don’t be afraid of what others think, say what your heart is feeling. Who cares if people think you’re mean because you said no I can’t in a polite way. I’ve learned that many times people never remember or pay attention to the times when you helped them. They only remember and complain about that one time when you didn’t. Making sure people are pleased is not your job. Live for YHWH and not for man.

What does the Bible say? 1. Galatians 1:10 Does this sound as if I am trying to win human approval? No indeed! What I want is YAH’s approval! Am I trying to be popular with people? If I were still trying to do so, I would not be a servant of YAHUSHUA. 2. Proverbs 29:25 Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting YHWH means safety. 3. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 For we speak as messengers approved by YAH to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please YAH, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. 4. Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of YAH, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to YAH, which is your spiritual worship. 5. Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in YHWH than to trust in man. 6. 2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to YAH as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 7. Colossians 3:23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for YHWH rather than for people. 8. Ephesians 6:7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving YHWH, not people.

Glory of YAH not man 9. 1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of YAH. 10. Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of YHWH Yahushua, giving thanks to YAH the Father through him.

Reminders 11. Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways please YHWH, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. 12. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what YAH’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect. 13. Ephesians 5:10 and try to discern what is pleasing to YHWH. 14. Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what YHWH’s will is.

Examples 15. Mark 8:33 But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of YAH, but on the things of man.” 16. John 5:41 I do not receive glory from people. 17. Mark 15:11-15 But the high priests stirred up the crowd to get him to release Barabbas for them instead. So Pilate asked them again, “Then what should I do with the man you call ‘the King of the Jews’?” “Crucify him!” they shouted back. “Why?” Pilate asked them. “What has he done wrong?” But they shouted even louder, “Crucify him!” So Pilate, wanting to satisfy the crowd, released Barabbas for them, but he had Yahushua whipped and handed over to be crucified. 18. Acts 5:28-29 He said, “We gave you strict orders not to teach in his name, didn’t we? Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to bring this man’s blood on us!” But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey YAH rather than men! 19. Acts 4:19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in YAH’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! 20. John 12:43 for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from YAH.

walls without resistance from the defenders.

It is an automatic, practiced and habitual way of thinking. YAH created us with lives and wills of our own; what we create also has life of its own (habits, fantasies, and ways of thinking). The ways of thinking that we developed before we knew Yahushua can resurrect and maintain lives of their own. Although we think of our mind as a friend, we must remember that "a mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace' Romans 8:6 "The mind set on the flesh is hostile toward YAH; for it does not subject itself to the law of YAH, for it is not even able to do so." Romans 8;7 those who are in the flesh cannot please YAH Romans 8:8 The very first sin was a mental sin. Satan thought that he would rule. Our childhood ways become practiced ways of thinking, habitual ruts, and strongholds. Like a computer, the mind continues to function as it was programmed (inertia: unless halted, things continue as they are). Once sinfully programmed, the only remedy is death; we must be born anew. Yahushua died.

He was crucified on the "mind of man". Golgotha: the skull, the residence of the brain. The Master renews our mind. Paul tells us to "be transformed by the renewing" of our minds, that we may "prove what the will of YAH is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect" Romans 12:2 Warfare against the mind is biblical. It is not only chasing demons, but also the act of destroying speculations, every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of YAH, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Yahushua. II Corinthians 10:4-5 An analogy of biblical warfare: A fortress was often built on a hill in an easily defended valley. To conquer it, attacking warriors breached the city wall and burned the city. They accomplished this by hurling burning logs or balls of debris over the walls catching the structures in the city on fire. When the people would abandon the walls to put out the flames the army would scale the

In spiritual warfare, we must hurl the Word of YAH against the walls of the mind. Truth breaks down walls and takes every thought captive. Our truest warfare is against ungodly ways of thinking. How do we war against strongholds? Recognize that they have a mind of their own, they twist the truth of YAH's Word, and they blind us by masking/clouding the issues Isaiah 42:18-20, 43:8 Repentance removes Satan's control. Bind the strongholds and command them to be still, detest the strongholds and once you bring them to death and repent of them. Ask YAH to build new ways of thinking in you. The most powerful weapon against strongholds is repentance. Overcome them with YAH's word. Psalm 19:7 and following. Read until your mind grasps the true meaning of YAH's Word. We must have a foundation on which to operate. Replace old strongholds with biblical truth. We must gain strength from the word in order to destroy self-centeredness.

OLD TESTAMENT Psalm 191 - The law of the Father is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Father are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Father are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Father are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Father is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Father are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 91-He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will Rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Father, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my YAH, in whom I trust.' Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with our eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling-even the Father, who is my refuge-then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

"Because he loves me, says the Father, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." Psalm 149 –HalleluYAH!! Sing to YAHUEH a new song his praise in the assembly of the saints Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their hearts. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp. For YAHUEH takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation. Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds. May the praise of Cod be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples, to bind their kings with Fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, to carry out the sentence written against them. This is the glory of all the saints. HalleluYAH!! Isaiah 42:15-20-"Hear, you deaf; look, you blind, and see Who is blind but my servant, and deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one committed to me, blind like the servant of the Father? You have seen many things but have paid no attention; your ears are open, but you hear nothing. Isaiah 43:8 - Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf. NEW TESTAMENT Matthew 7;5 - You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brothers eye. Luke 1I: 25-26 - When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. John 5:19 - Yahushua gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does, John8:28-So Yahushua said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that am the one I claim to be, and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. Romans 8:5-Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

Romans 12:1-2 (NAS) - I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of YAH, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to YAH, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of YAH is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect

II Corinthians 3:12-18; 4:1-4(NAS) - Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech, and are not as Moses, who used to put a veil over his face that the sons of Yisra’Al might not look intently at the end of what was fading away. But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Mashiach. But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; BUT WHENEVER A MAN TURNS TO THE FATHER, THE VEIL IS TAKEN AWAY. Now the Father is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Father is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Father, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, just as from the Father, the Spirit. Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart, but we have enounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of YAH, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of YAH. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Mashiach, who is the image of YAH.

II Corinthians 10:4-S - The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of YAH, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Mashiach. Galatians 33 - Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Ephesians 6:10-12 - Finally, be strong in the Father and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of YAH so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Colossians 2:8(NAS) - See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Mashiach. I John 2:8-11(NAS) - On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. The one who says he is in the light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now. The one who loves his brother abides in the light and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes. There is no other weapon that is needed other than the WORD of YAH!!! Just let it do what it do people!! And that is ‌

Biblical Steps to Be Transformed by the

You begin each morning end each night by humbling yourself. To humble yourself, you must admit your helplessness to follow the teachings of Yahushua and to acquire his character on your own. Unless you receive inner power, love and everything good from YHWH, you labor in vain. When you realize that you can't even love yourself or others without receiving YHWH's love daily, you are being humbled. You are not love, but YHWH is love and He gives His grace and love to the humble. (James 4:6) His grace is power to be reborn in Him and power to live the life He wills for you. (Picture a young bird holding its mouth open when the mother bird arrives at the nest. The begging bird.) When you keep your heart open to YHWH daily and beg for his love, power, fulfillment and life like the helpless little bird staring up with a wide-open mouth, YHWH promises to freely give His grace and loving character to you. Also, when you do sin and experience your human weaknesses, confess them to YHWH (confess means to admit your weaknesses and become that helpless, begging baby bird again) and He is faithful and just to

forgive you and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9) First, I humbled myself and confessed to YHWH that the pain seemed too much at one time. My first thoughts were negative (normal) and I confessed that without YHWH's power within me, my sorrow would take a long time to heal. But I imagined myself in my small nest in Baltimore, MD. with my mouth open wide crying out to YHWH for protection, spiritual food and comfort until the pain leaves and the "golden nugget" YHWH wants me to learn has been dropped into the nest I just start waiting for the Most High's next move in my life.

2. Discover the great power, love, fulfillment and life when Yahushua's Set-apart Spirit lives inside of you. And His power has unlimited potential. (Ephesians 3:16- 20) With YHWH's resurrection power living inside of you, you can do amazing things. As I was waiting for YHWH's power to strengthen me during my emotional pain, I continued to thank YHWH for Ruach HaChodesh living inside of me. I knew that through YHWH's power within me, I would be able to endure the pain and wait for the "golden nugget."

3. Take every one of your thoughts (beliefs, imaginations, dreams, and ideas) captive to the obedience of Messiah. (II Corinthians 10:5) Since all of your emotions, words and actions originate in your mind and heart, you can wake up every morning with the assurance that you have the power to control how you feel, what you say and how you act all day long. No one is a victim. At this point, I enjoy using YHWH's power within me to start controlling my thoughts. I begin evaluating each thought. If I am thinking that losing three matriarchs in my family could cause great harmful stress, I immediately start transforming any negative thinking into positive thoughts. I might start thinking James 1:2, start counting all of the joy I will soon have because of this repetitive and painful trial.

I know I don't have the joy yet, but it will be coming soon as promised by. YHWH is always faithful to His word. In time, I have always seen the "nuggets" that YHWH has brought after major trials and after discovering major weaknesses in my life. I feel safe with YHWH's love and faithfulness and therefore, I can rest in YHWH's promises and am willing to wait for the fruit of trials.

4. Guard your heart; you are what you think. (Proverbs 23:7) Also, whatever thoughts you sow into your mind, you will reap the consequences. (Galatians 6:7) You become what you think! Spend a few seconds reflecting on what you are today and what you have. Everything about you is the result of what you have been thinking your whole life. Meditating is thinking, planning is thinking, imagining is thinking, reacting to circumstances is thinking and wishing things could have been different for you is thinking. Your beliefs are your thoughts grouped together over many years. Sometimes "bad" things happen to you. What do you think about after a "bad" thing happens to you? Those thoughts are part of what determine your future emotions, words and actions

One of the greatest truths in life: It's not what happens to you (your past, present or future circumstances) or what people do or say to you that cause your emotions. Your emotions come from what you think about after things happen to you! You control all of your emotions by what you think. Emotions are simply data telling you what you have been thinking. I am constantly learning "as I think, so am I." I shouldn’t allow fears to surface anytime they want in order to remind me of what I have experienced. Listening more to my words and watching my patterns of behavior and letting them tell me what is in my heart.

about my life allowing them to show me a picture of my heart. I sometimes I get discouraged by what I see because I don’t always remember that I can override any past thoughts and transform my life by the renewing of my mind. (Romans 12:2) YAH can transform my thoughts into gratefulness for the pain and for the upcoming additional character and love that comes from Him. YHWH will show me more wisdom, lead me to the people who need to hear my story and sharing the NEW truths ABBA YAH has taught me. I actually want to become more like Yahushua and I realize that trials and weaknesses bring this goal faster than almost anything else.

Sometimes "listening" to Abba whether directly or through one of our teachers or even thru one of my sisters (strong walls)

I love all of life, the good and the bad.

With the power of Ruach HaChodesh living within you, your thoughts can literally shut your mouth before you speak. (James 1:19, James 3:2) And even more importantly, as you are quick to listen, you can slow down your thinking and speech to conform your thoughts and words to 8 giant standards. Let your mind dwell on only these eight powerful, life-changing words: true, honorable, right, pure, beautiful, adorable, excellent and praise worthy. (Philippians 4:8, 9) Just imagine being able to control all of your thoughts leading to control of your emotions, words and actions your whole body. (James 3:2) Just think of it - control every part of your body! Is this not great power over your life today and forever? No one controls how you think and thus, no one has the power to control how you feel, speak or act any longer. You are never the victim of others or circumstances. "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what is good acceptable and complete will of YAH." (Romans 12:2)

5. Now that you have this new power within you and you are controlling your thoughts, the words coming out of your mouth can be honorable not unwholesome. (Ephesians 4:29) I look forward to those experiences that give me more time to reflect on the truth that YAHUSHUA is all I will ever need. Even right now as I wait on YHWH, what could I be doing what I really like, cooking, sewing, exercising, fellowship with my family and friends. I will try to focus more on all of the things YHWH is to me: my Abba, my strength, my song, my Hightower, living water and bread, my sunshine, living light within me, lamp upon my feet at night or in dark times, He also clothes me in my favorite color royal purple‌ I am the daughter of the King with all the privileges, I am salt to the world for preserving good, I will receive more than I can think of or ever imagine, YAHUSHUA will meet all of my needs all of them through His riches in THE KINGDOM!!, He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and all of that wealth is ours and so on and so on.

HalleluYAH!!!!!!!

6. Finally, when you experience trials you can actually exalt, boast, honor your trials and weaknesses and start thinking about how much joy, more power and godly character you will soon have. (Romans 5:3 5, James 1:2 - 4, II Corinthians 12:9,10, Isaiah 63:3, I Thessalonians 5:16-18) These are life-changing verses to memorize! This sixth point will change people more than anything in the shortest time span. Just imagine - all of your trials and weaknesses give you more of YAH's love, Messiah’s character and power is matured within you with each passing blow in life!

If you have been angry over your weaknesses and trails, you block His good work in your life. Anger separates you from YHWH. (I John 2:9-11)

Little by little, YHWH will let you see His loving qualities growing within you as you honor your weaknesses and trials. You can literally give thanks to YHWH for trials because you know that YHWH will give you beauty for ashes, joy for sorrow and praise for the spirit of heaviness. (Isaiah 61:3) Number six is the key. When I awaken in the morning and before I fall off to sleep at night, I shall practice in my mind to go over the above verses. You can literally list your weaknesses and major trials through your life and begin to thank the Father for how He has developed more of His power and love within you with each one.

As the fretful type that I tend to be, I am sure that I will soon love thinking about the control I have over my thoughts and about my weaknesses, mistreatments, trials, insults, distresses and everything else that could discourage, depress or emotionally hurt me. Because with each one of these painful circumstances, I permit myself to boast in them knowing that I receive more of YAH's love, more of YAH's character and YAH's power within me grows closer to MATURITY each day. ****My trials are a blessing to me today and therefore, my thoughts about my trials are very positive resulting in more joy, peace and love.**** Embrace them!

In Proverbs 22:6 the Most High tell us, “6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

A Guide to Education Choice for Bible Believing Parents

Believing parents must follow both the law of Yah and the law of the state. We are charged with finding the best way to train up children according to what Yah says and adhere to the laws of this land. This process can be difficult, but it can be done. Below you will find the benefits and challenges of the Education choices we as believers have for our children. Regardless of which we choose, The Most High still charges parents to teach their children!

By Sister Ali’Ora At this time of year children all over the country are returning to school. Compulsory attendance laws of each state to require school attendance for children of certain ages. In the Unites States, five states require students to begin school at age 5, 32 mandate school attendance at age 6, and a small number allow children to wait until reaching 8 years old. All states mandating, that by law parents, must provide some sort of government monitored education for their children. Yah also has “compulsory education” laws. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 tells us 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children,

Homeschooling According to the Coalition for Responsible Home Education (CRHE), Homeschooling is an educational option that allows parents to teach their children at home instead of sending them to school.

Homeschooling is legal throughout the United States. Monitoring of homeschool students/families varies by state. Many states require parents to notify state or local education officials of their intent to homeschool, some states have assessment requirements for homeschooling students. Most states

have days of instruction and subject requirements. A few states have parent qualification and bookkeeping requirements, and some states require none of the above.

Benefits of Homeschooling 

The most appealing benefit of homeschooling for a family of believers is the freedom to teach your children through a firm foundation in YAH’s Word without the influence of flawed, worldly academic influences of

philosophies and sciences that refute the Word. Homeschooling allows the family to filter worldly social influences that come the form of false holidays, exposure to alternative lifestyles, different genres of music, media, and social media.

Parents should moderate their child’s exposure to these sources; however in a public school environment this is almost impossible. Homeschooling, allows the opportunity for children to learn at their own pace advanced, average, or slower. The personal attention offered by a homeschooling environment will often times push many children who learn from home ahead of the traditional educational of academic progression.

The home education environment also provides the opportunity for parents to incorporate subjects they deem as most important such as Torah/Bible study, Hebrew as foreign, and biblical history. Other more mainstream topics that might not be included in the local school's curriculum, such as foreign language. As the popularity of homeschooling has increased, so has the availability of resources. There are a variety of companies selling prepackaged curricula. There are also many online resources available at a cost and for free. Many school systems offer books and supplies trough surplus warehouse sales, and the local public libraries have many resources and programs designed for homeschooling families. Parents should not feel they are not qualified to teach their children…Yah has already ordained that the parents should be the teachers! Families have the opportunity to network with like minded families and children to develop play, activity, and study groups who share similar values which allows the children to foster relationships with other children who are being raised as believers. This can have a positive effect on believing children’s social and emotional development which can often be damaged in public

schools because of teasing and being ostracized for their beliefs. Networking can also help with curriculum planning as families can share curriculum and work together to co-teach children. Challenges of Homeschooling 

Many families are faced with having to work outside of the home to support the household this could make families feel that there is not enough time to teach the children. Parent of large families may have difficulty meeting the varying schooling needs of several children in the home. Children with learning disabilities may need resources that are difficult for parents to provide at home. Districts who frown upon the homeschooling choice make it difficult for families with unreasonable guidelines that restrict families.

Private Schools Private or independent schools, are schools which administered by local, state or national governments; These schools have the right to select their students and are funded in whole or in part by charging tuition for attendance, Some private schools may offer scholarships based on talent or need of attending students. Some private schools are accredited by organizations such as the National Association of Independent Schools or Archdiocese, or other accrediting entities. Private schools often ascribe to a particular education philosophy such as Progressive Education or Montessori. Others often have a religious affiliation.

Benefits of Private Schools 

Private schools offer a variety of choices in the type of education your child receives. This allows parents to select a school that is a good fit for their childs learning style and a school that will provide the child with what the parent deems appropriate education. Private schools often offer smaller class sizes. The lower the student to teacher ratio, the more personal/individualized instruction students receive. This leads to better academic progress.

Because private schools are better funded, they often offer better facilities, books and supplies. The learning environment is linked very closely to student success. Better funding also allows for more access to up-to-date technology and student lab materials. Research has proven that most private schools offer a more challenging curriculum than their public counterparts. Close school community and parent school interaction is another benefit of private school. Parents investing large sums of money for education are often more involved to ensure that their investment is being appropriate spent.

Challenges of Private Schools 

Cost of private schools can vary, but any cost can be a challenge for some families. In some private schools, teachers are not required to have a teaching degree. There is less state oversight for teacher credentials if any. It is up to the school to decide how to qualify their teachers. Because private schools are smaller and have less faculty members there could be a limited amount of choices in subjects and extracurricular activities. Larger private schools may offer more opportunities than public schools, but understand that you get what you pay for with private education. Possible lack of special education services available in another big challenge in private education. Some schools offer services often times at additional cost, but many schools do not accept students with academic challenges. There are private schools for children with special needs. As with other private schools the cost is high. Many private schools require students must pass an exam to be admitted. This could be a challenge for average or below average students. Many families are often looking to the private sector because their child is falling behind. Entrance exams make finding a school difficult for some families.

Possible social issues around race, gender, and socioeconomic status often arise in

private schools due to elitist mentalities of many private school constituents. This can be a particularly difficult situation for children who are struggling with self-esteem issues.

Public school are tuition free schools funded and operated by the government. Public schools are governed by state departments of education in conjunction with district school boards. Charter schools also fall under the banner of public tuition free schools. They receive government funding; however charter schools have some measure of autonomy from local and districts as defined by charter school policy as outlined by particular districts.

Benefits of Public Schools 

Public schools are free. Public schools are funded by tax revenues from federal, state and the local governments. Public school’s have a more standardized curriculum and

  

program designed by the state. They utilize standardized testing result, and other statistical measures to determine best practices for curriculum, instruction and running of schools. There is a set learning path and clear standardized scope and sequence of requirements that students must meet for graduation. Teachers are required to meet certification standards to teach. Public schools must admit any student who lives within the particular school’s jurisdiction Public schools must follow very strict laws and policies governing provision of Special Education needs for qualifying students.

Challenges of Public Schools 

    

There are few opportunities for school choices for you or your child because most students must attend their zoned school. Under-funded schools may not have quality materials or updated facilities. Also programs may be limited due to funding, and may vary from school to school. Classrooms are often filled to maximum capacity which presents challenges to both teacher effectiveness and students ability to learn. There is too much emphasis on the standardized testing Both gifted and struggling students might get lost in the shuffle The student culture in public schools usually discourages overachievers and A students There is a possibility of unsafe environment both in school or on the bus There is no way of filtering out immoral and unethical influences as all children are grouped together and any child has the right to attend.

The Most High takes the education of children very seriously! He mentions it in many places in the scripture. We must make every effort to give our children a firm foundation in the word of Yah and make the best possible education choices for our children.

Believers Proverbs 9:10 The fear of Yah is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One understanding.

If we don’t teach our children to follow Yah’s word, the world will teach them

not to.
