OTG Experience Project Management Design Communications
While working with Design Communications, I have been part of a Project Management team that specializes in the custom fabrication of Architectrual Specialties & Signage. We are responsible for bringing architects and designers visions to reality through engineering, pre-construction project development, project management, and installation. I have had the opportunity to work on large projects including Independence Prime, located in the Philadelphia International Airport, as well as Gavi, located in the Houston International Airport. For these projects I assisted mostly on finish development, management of submittals, working with fabricators to expedite work, quality control, and shipping. My independent projects have been smaller quick service restaurants and retail. These include Boar’s Head Deli, Philly Cheesesteak, Wabi Sabi, Custom Burger, World Nectar, and Tagliare. All of which have finished installation and are located at Newark Liberty International Airport. The retail project I recently completed was a CIBO Market located in IAH with a quick shedule of four weeks for design and fabrication with only three days for installation. I was solely responsible for the budget, schedule, and implementation of these projects.

Independence Prime Project Management Design Communications
During this project I worked closely with the owner, designers, and architect RQ ÀQDO ÀQLVKHV DQG ZDV UHVSRQVLEOH IRU DOO ÀQLVK VXEPLWWDOV DQG PRFN XS schedules. There were many times we came together as a team internally to brainstorm how an item should be designed and built in order to give the overall look while also thinking about how it would be installed, used, and maintained. I was responsible for sourching and purchasing most of the materials used and keeping the project on track in general as an assistant to the Senior Project Manager. ceiling slat details

Gavi Project Management Design Communications
Gavi had a massive scope where we were responsible for much of the overhead cantilevered structure of the restaurant. I was responsible for the ÀQLVK GHYHORSPHQW DQG SXUFKDVLQJ RI material. I also had to research and source hardware that met our particular needs. During this project we were working with some very large pieces which required more coordination with shipping carriers, the airrport, TSA, and the General Contractor.

Quick Service Restaurants Project Management Design Communications
I independently managed six quick service restaurant projects located in the Newark Liberty International Airport. These projects included a mix of signage facades, shelving, small signage, and mounts. BreakfastBoli / Tagliare is the same venue where the sign is actually a standard rolling door, creating a dynamic sign that changes throughout the day. We had to design a structure to support the rolling door and clad it. World Nectar has a facade that is a combination of undulating wood tiles, grey ceramic tiles, and painted aluminum tiles. The aluminum tiles became necessary when the correct tile color couldn’t be found in a size that matched the grey tile. This was a hurdle we overcame with the solution of painted aluminum “tiles”. In the end, you can’t even tell they are not ceramic. Boar’s Head Deli was challenging while designing the curved structure to be cladded with wood vinyl. We also developed a frosted lightbulb look for the signage using a tinted clear paint.
Wyndham Resorts Design & Design management W y n d h a m Va c a t i o n Ownership While working with Wyndham Vacation Ownership, I managed the design process for multiple resorts within the WVO portfolio across North America. My territories include Central Florida & Panhandle, Central states west of the Mississippi, West Coast states, as well as Hawaii. My role included managing more than 15 Design Consultant companies for multiple projects in varying phases of execution and updating FF&E Performance Standards. I also had the opportunity to design small projects in house and work with the insurance team to replace damaged FF&E due to a claim.

Wyndham Grand Desert Work Experience Wyndham Vacation Ownership
Wyndham Grand Desert is a Flagship Wyndham property located in Las Vegas. The lobby was a major renovation including an updated tile design and new space planning that incorporated a new front desk pod design to help agents connect with and assist guests while implementing new front desk technology. The column benches were custom designed with charging stations DQG KHOSHG VROYH D EXV\ à RRUSODQ ZLWK previous furniture groupings. I worked closely with the Vacation Owner’s Association and resort management to update this space to compliment the recent room renovations and make a bold entrace statement for the resort.

Animal Kingdom Lodge Work Experience Walt Disney Imagineering
While working on the model room at Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House I was tasked with designing a themed VKDGH IRU DQ H[LVWLQJ OLJKW À[XWUH DW WKH bathroom vanity. The pattern is based on the relief carvings from a talking drum artifact found on the Ivory Coast.
While working on this project I was able to be involved in the prototyping of the shade. I was also involved in the coordination between vendors on other custom items such as fabric, carpet, and furniture.

Hilton Head Resort Work Experience HBA / Walt Disney Imagineering
While working with HBA I got the opportunity to work on Disney’s Hilton Head Resort, unkown to me at the time WKDW , ZRXOG EH DEOH WR VHH WKH ÀQLVKHG product as model room installation began while I was working for WDI. I was involved in small details including this custom wall art and placing paw prints of the resort’s Golden Retriever mascot, Shadow.

Rock Hallelujah Honorable Mention Most Creative 2014 SOURCE awards In this group project our client was local musical group Foxy Shazam. The site was an abandoned 18th century Gothic reformation church located on Freeman Avenue, near downtown Cincinnati. The goal was to create a music venue and restaurant to support a music school for inner city kids in the connected parsonage house. We wanted to create a modern transparent design that reflected the Gothic skeletal structure while utilizing light as an alluring aesthetic.

Rock Hallelujah Honorable Mention SOURCE awards The original structure of the church dates back to 1850 at which point it was constructed with a traditional Gothic revival groin vaulting. The church has since been renovated, replacing the vaults with a cove ceiling. We believed the most important aspect of the structure to restore was the groin vaulting but it needed to be done in such a way as to update. To recreate the concept of groin vaults, we designed a structure of cast DOXPLQXP DQG UDWKHU WKDQ LQ ÀOOLQJ ZLWK masonry or plaster like traditional vaults, we substituted a dynamic transitional material theatrical gauze. rendered sectionautocad & photoshop zv

For the restaurant, we wanted to emulate groin vaults similar to the ones in the venue space without duplicating. We chose to create the restaurant vaults using backlit 3Form panels , shaped as groin vaults. These vaulted glow boxes not only help to GHĂ€QH FLUFXODWLRQ SDWKV DQG VSDFHV but provide the same visual interest as the venue . restaurant rcp - autocad & photoshop

Work Experience HBA This project is located in Baku and is a residence of a political figure of Azerbaijan. I was involved in the final presentation for this project which included producing material boxes, rendering floor plans, and editing realistic renderings.

Zagulba Residence Work Experience HBA
This residence has six floors and two basements. Each floor is a residence itself for each child and their own family. The sixth floor belongs to the President and First Lady. For these two bedrooms I rendered both floor plans including the custom floor patterns, constructed pillows and drapery for material boxes, and also used photoshop to make final adjustments to the realistic renderings done by HBA India.

St. Regis Work Experience ForrestPerkins I worked on this project during all phases. I was responsible for writing all specifications for the Ballroom Prefunction area. Other responsibilities included selecting FF&E, assembling a pre-specification project binder, drawing custom FF&E, designing rugs and carpets, and assembling the first round specifications book.

This Hotel is located in Doha’s Education City. The concept of the building is that it is carved out of a sand dune. I worked on this project during the concept and schematic phases. This included three different visions for the entire project.

I did many different things on this project. , VHW XS [UHI EDVH GUDZLQJ ÀOHV DQG ZDV responsible for the majority of the cad work for public areas and guest rooms. I also made spatial models in sketchup for exploration and as a base for the in house renderer’s drawings seen to the left.
