Sandown & Shanklin District Camera Club Presentation of Awards for the 2009—2010 Season Welcoming the Club members, their President, Eric Mitchell, brought the attention of the meeting to a number of matters that had occurred since they had last met at the A.G.M. • The retirement of Lisa from her position as Assistant Competition Secretary had been marked by the gift of flowers as a token of appreciation for her services. • Both Warren Rogers and Alan Rowe had joined the ranks of the “ Silver Surfers “ having recently purchased computers. • Thanks were recorded to Mrs Rodgers for cleaning the trophies. Apologies for absence had been tendered on behalf of the Chairman, Campbell MacFarlane and Vice-Chairman, Peter Bridle, who were unable to be present.
