LTG GREETINGS Happy November. Can you believe that it’s already the 3rd month into the school year, or even better the 3rd month into Key Club? Neither can I. The leaves are getting browner, the weather is getting colder, and service keeps expanding. I’m so very proud of each and every one of you for not quitting and constantly stepping up to the plate. We are super close to the end of the year, and this also means closer to DCON and the end of Project Eliminate. I can’t stress enough how important it is for us to do the best of ability to raise for the project. The only thing standing between the end of MNT and us is the expense. So don’t let this month go in waste. Grab a pumpkin spice latte, some friends and explore the world of service. Nothing is ever too little, and always know that we are here to help and guide you. Feel free to contact me whenever with questions and concerns. Love you tons,

Ramneet Kaur Ramneet Kaur Lieutenant Governor of Division 19/36 Pacific Northwest Key Club International Ramneet.14kaur@gmail.com

In other words, I would like to thank each and every Key Clubber in this division for always giving back to the community and giving a new meaning to service. I know you guys go to infinity and beyond just to give time out of your busy schedules doing various volunteer activities. You are all hardworking and dedicated individuals and it makes me happy knowing that I get to capture the moments you express your passion for service. I hope to relive the amazing moments we’ve shared and all the great ones still to come. If you have any questions about Key Club or editing, feel free to contact me. -RECAPThe October DCM was a costume party held at the FRA Building in Silverdale. We shared laughs, took hundreds of photos, ate delicious food and of course danced the night away. The theme was black and orange and everyone came in spectacular costumes. A huge shout out goes to the Silverdale Kiwanis for not only being a part of the event but also providing us with the location and necessities, and our divisional editor Karen for setting up the photo booth. On a serious note, we discussed Key Club affairs such as divisional clothing, upcoming fundraisers/ service projects, DCON information, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, membership dues and club concerns/questions. The DCM was definitely great and so much fun, and don’t worry if you weren’t able to attend this one, there’s more to come!

Show your K in every way—Show people what Key Club is all about! Spread the word by wearing Key Club gear and publicizing Key Club Week in local stores, your school Web site, community newspapers—even on the radio. Officially announce Key Club Week in your community with a proclamation and refer to the Key Club public relations manual to get great tips on how to publicize Key Club in your community.

Kudos to the Key players—Personally thank all the Key Club supporters you know—teachers, advisors and other Key players. Write thank-you notes, host an appreciation dinner or do something uniquely your own style to recognize the contributions of these special people.

Connect the Ks—Key Club is the largest high school service organization in the world and is a member of the Kiwanis family. Celebrate the entire family of Kiwanis by getting the whole gang involved. Connect with local Kiwanis, Circle K International, Builders, Kiwanis Kids or Aktion club and team up for a joint service project.

Bring a friend to Key Club—More members = more service. Increasing the amount of service Key Club performs increases the impact Key Club has on the world. Bring a friend, or two, or more to your next Key Club meeting.

Your way—This is your club’s chance to do its own thing and make its mark. Pick a project, plan a recruitment party or combine activities from the other Key Club Week days. Whatever idea you choose, take it and run with it.
