GETTING THERE

The River Ranch has easy, year-round access and is located four miles northwest of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Access to the ranch is via Highway 160. The ranch entry is between mile marker 148 and 149 on the west side of the highway.

AIRPORT SERVICES

Private aircraft can fly directly into the local Pagosa airport, Stevens Field. The runway length at Stevens Field is 8,100 feet. Commercial service to Durango, Colorado, and Farmington, New Mexico, is within a 40-minute drive. Additional commercial service is through Albuquerque, New Mexico, 200 miles south of Pagosa Springs.

WATER SOURCES | WATER RIGHTS

Water is provided to the ranch by two gallery wells: a north gallery well and a south gallery well. Both wells provide .33 CFS for stock, irrigation of 10± acres, and fire protection. The south gallery well has a maximum diversion of .66 CFS. A north pond to be constructed has 15± acre-feet of water available for stock, fire protection, domestic usage, and irrigation of 10± acres. A south pond to be constructed has 30± acre-feet of water available for stock, fire protection, domestic usage, and irrigation of 18± acres.

DEFINITIONS OF WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
