Prineville, Oregon, lies just east of Bend, off Highway 26, and is almost entirely surrounded by rimrock. Prineville is the seat of Crook County and the oldest city in Central Oregon, with a population of 9,253 (2010 census). GETTING THERE

From Prineville, take the Paulina Highway east for 42 miles and take to Camp Creek Road. The Tackman Ranch is located off Camp Creek Road and Tackman Road.

The closest major airport is Robert’s Field/ Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), 78± miles west of The Tackman Ranch. RDM is located in the heart of central Oregon and is currently served by four air carriers: Alaska Air, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United/United Express, with daily direct flights to Denver, Portland, Los Angeles International, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Seattle.
