To get closer to the truth, one needs to prove the previously false. Wither to bloom explores the life after death; the bloom after decayment, invoking the idea of death as a resurrection rather than an end.

RANIA SIDANTA

This project is an architectural library in the city of Melbourne for the benefit of collective public knowledge. Embodying the monumentality of the colosseum and the spectacle of the church, the staircase that led to the former office of Edmond and Corrigan and the library contained within remains a triumphant pillar that heralds the entry to the new civic space beneath. This project imagines an architecture that perpetuates a loving memory with a chance to offer a promising future.
