The Yafa Identity Communicating the Yafa Brand the Yafa core brand message and attributes are carried through all mediums of communications through the intelligent use of color, typography, photography, and other Yafa brand elements. Proper usage is important to ensure the quality of the experience of every Yafa customer and potential customer. The brand elements include: The Yafa logo, the Yafa symbol, color fields and bars, typefaces, and line art. The identity consists of the Yafa logo and all applications. The mark showcases the Yafa brand dynamism and unconventional voice by using different colors for the mark. Using all colors for the mark interchangeably, the identity is always in active motion. The Yafa palette of Red and Black is to be used interchangeably within all the branding applications. No one color should be used to identify any one product. Each product needs to use all of the secondary colors from the primary palette, with equal balance. This concept of movement and change should be embraced and reflected in all The Zing’s branding applications.

States The Yafa mark has two states. These states reflect the constant movement and dynamism of the Yafa logo. One is smaller than the other, in case of using the small version of the mark. All states can be used interchangeably across all applications, the packaging labels, the merchandise, ads etc...

Clear space Bleed for second logo state The spacing 1/2X distance will always start from the most extended point of any graphic shown in the logo.
The Yafa Tag Line The tag line “Since 1978” can be placed in different locations next to the Yafa logo, according to the layout. It will always appear at the same proportionate size and in the same Adobe Garamond Pro – Bold Italic font. The number 1978 will cinstantly be 1 point smaller in size to the word “Since”. This is an excpetion of the regulated spacing around the Yafa logo, since the tag line can appear colser to the logo than all other elements. The space will be equal to the X-height of the capital S of the word “Since”.

Identity – Colors of use The coloration of TheYafa logo is an essential element in setting a recognizable tone and look for the identity. Consistent use of color enhances the strength of the identity. The primary colors for The Yafa logo are Yafa Black, Yafa Red to Black and Yafa Red to White. As alternate, Yafa logo can also appear in white. All color variations are to be used interchangeably. Using color variation reinforces the activist, creative and eclectic nature of the identity.

The use of the Yafa Symbol Yafa’s symbol can be used seeratly from the “Yafa” type when trying to create a background, a layout or any other design elemet used for a Yafa application. In this case the Yafa symbol can blled out of the page, change it’s color and be transparent.

The Yafa Pattern Unless no other pattern was created, the old Yafa symbol is applicable to create patterns as an additional design element for the Yafa brand. This pattern can be used only by standing alone from all other images, logos or type. The Yafa pattern cannot be used as a backround for other design element.
