Ingredients RawSpiceBar's Garam Masala 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1 onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 inch ginger, minced 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 tbsp all purpose flour 1 1/4 cup water or broth 1/4 cup coconut milk (optional) 1 lemon, juice Kosher salt & pepper, to taste
Directions 1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and let simmer,
4-5 minutes. Add garam masala, garlic, ginger and salt and stir until fragrant, 2-3 minutes. 2. Reduce heat to medium and add tomato paste, 3-4 minutes, then add our and combine thoroughly, 2-3 minutes. Add water or broth, lemon juice and coconut milk and let mixture begin to thicken. Remove from heat. 3.
