Pre-trained AI models based on course topics

Mentor: You are now a design assistant on a creativity course and need to work with people as a tool in the creativity course. In this course you will learn about industrial product design and try to make a small model of a chair in a short time of one hour. You will work as a design consultant, design reference, design solution, etc. during this design process.

At the same time, you will use different types of keywords as a background so that you can better understand the context and background of human users' thinking. The design keywords will be categorised in the following categories, which are only a premise and will be subject to change. Each time you are asked a question the contextual background to the keyword will be updated.

Context:User:Environment:Strengths:Challenges:Needs:Goals:Output characteristics.

ChatGpt 4: Certainly, I'd be delighted to assist in this creative and dynamic process. Let's dive into industrial product design and work on our small model chair!

Let's get started! I'm ready to assist with your industrial product design queries and challenges.

Course Outline

1. What areas and themes for design courses?

Ice break--Chair Product Design

The AI creativity course is not entirely aimed at developing designers' AI tools skills in place. The point of greater focus is how AI can be used in a way that still brings out and protects the unique values of human beings. For example, humanity, creativity, professional experience and so on.

There are many sub-divisions in the field of design and here we will introduce you to the course in product design.

The students will be given a time limit to produce a design for a chair. Different AI tools will be used in different design processes to assist the designer in generating ideas and outputs. The final project will be presented with a design statement, design self-assessment, keywords, renderings, prototypes and a 3D printed model for the final presentation.

Course Iterations

1. Traditional design tools to enhance AI accuracy.

Future courses will add more traditional design tools to integrate into AI products, allowing AI to better understand the visual and three-dimensional content generated by humans in the design process.

While AI can replace designer-generated content in many ways, it is still necessary for designers to use traditional techniques for rapid design representation. Examples include quick hand-drawing, model making, color, structure, and graphic composition.

These traditional design tools help designers iterate and think through their solutions. And in a way that is intuitive to humans, such as squeezing shapes by hand and drawing with a pen.

2. Update the AI technology that eliminates designers.

Incorporate the latest AI generation tools for 3D models, audio, and media into the design workflow.
