launched a new program called the “Kawasaki Safety & Responsibility Riding” (KSRR) course at Sepang International Kart Circuit (SIKC) today. This program is the first ever to be organized by KMSB in collaboration with Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd, and K-TEC Corporation, Japan to provide opportunity for Kawasaki owners to be exposed to the aspect of safety and responsible riding in both theory and practical. This program is aimed to bring awareness on safety and it will help in reducing the number of road accidents involving motorcycles. This is in-line with the government’s and related agencies such as JPJ, JKJR, PDRM and others in their effort to reduce road accident in which the majority are involving motorcyclists. This motorcycle safety course is designed for riders on how to handle their bike with focus on safety with confidence handling. Operating a motorcycle safely and sharing on the necessary physical and mental skills that works with an attitude when dealing with traffic. Based on statistics, over the period of 10 years, from 2007 to 2016, the total road accidents fatality in Malaysia is 73,954 which about 63% (40,609) are motorcycle users which is very high. From the report also about 80% of road accidents are caused by human errors. In our neighbouring countries, the number of accidents and motorcycle related accidents is high as well.
i-Moto In Indonesia for example, there were 184,022 vehicle accidents in 2016, in which 74% were motorcycles. In Thailand, the number of motorcycle accident was 32,057 in 2016. For Philippines, there were 210,540 vehicle accidents in Metro Manila itself in 2016. Over in Vietnam, motorcycles accidents have increased from 39% in 2007 to 51% in 2016. Kawasaki believes that safety riding courses such as today’s program will help and contribute in reducing the number of road accidents and deaths caused by motorcycles users. Research shown that among the most common traffic offences are: Speeding beyond permissible speed limit, disobeying traffic lights, cutting queue, using mobile phone while riding, overtaking on double line and riding on emergency lane.
i-Moto Low awareness on safety, lack of positive mind-set, attitude and riding skill are among the most common cause of road accidents. Kawasaki Motors Malaysia is supporting the government and related agencies effort towards road safety and reducing the number of accidents. The launch of today’s riding course is part of Kawasaki’s Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) in their effort towards this goal. his program, Kawasaki have instructors whom are being trained and certified by K-TEC and from Kawasaki, Japan. Professional trainers from K-TEC, Japan have trained Kawasaki Malaysia’s instructors to ensuring them to provide customers with learning experience and enhancing riding ability. i-Moto The 2017 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S has enjoyed positive accolades with the media and owners the world over since its launch earlier this year, including winning numerous “Best Adventure Bike” and “Best Touring Bike” awards. The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is a technological tour-de-force, with advanced digital features such as WP Semi-Active suspension, Ride-by-Wire throttle, Motorcycle Stability System (MSC), Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Automatic Turn Indicator Reset, Cruise Control, Transponder Key among many others. Besides those, KTM has redesigned the model to portray its own distinctive signature styling, which starts from the split LED headlamp. The new design had been intended to create an air channel to cool the headlamp, but it ended up as the most striking feature for not only the 1290 Super Adventure S but is also adopted throughout KTM’s road going motorcycle range.
Also, a new feature on the 1290 Super Adventure S is the fully digital TFT display, that’s very easy to see and displays everything the rider needs. The 1301cc, 75-degree V-Twin has been improved to provide 160 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. There’s already 108 Nm of torque from as low as 2500 RPM which means the rider could rely on the 1290 Super Adventure S to pull away from anything at anytime. The Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC) doesn’t only release when decelerating hard, it also the power assist function helps with easier and smoother gear changes. With all the above standard features, there are four optional ones that are included in the Travel Pack. They are: Quickshifter+, which allows for quick and smooth gear changes up or down without using the clutch. The system monitors and adapts to your riding style, while still being super smooth when riding at half throttle. Hill Hold Control (HHC), an option which detects the bike on a slope and at standstill. The system takes over the duty of applying the brakes when the rider releases the brakes, to avoid the bike from rolling backwards. The brakes are automatically applied until the bike starts rolling forward. This function is especially important if the rider is carrying heavy loads and/or a passenger. The rider no longer has to slip the clutch like mad to keep the bike from rolling backwards.
The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S became an instant hit as soon as it was released earlier this year. It went on to win numerous awards and accolades as the best adventure Motor Slip Regulation (MSR), opens the right amount of tourer/dual-purpose motorcycle. throttle briefly when it detects an engine drag that’s too high due KTM Malaysia is giving away the Travel to abrupt throttle chopping. Once paired all incoming calls and music information will be shown in the TFT display, allowing the rider to control using the Mode switch on the handlebar. This avoids the rider from having to take his hand off the handlebar to answer calls or toggle music on his helmet’s Bluetooth communicator.
The Travel Pack costs an additional RM 5,424. However, do not despair as KTM is offering it as complimentary during this Year-End promotion period. So hurry to your nearest KTM authorised dealer!

What I really liked is how neatly and quickly the RS200 turns into corners at the Elite Plus Speedway Circuit. The steering is very responsive. The lean angles that the bike can manage with the default suspension setting, but it’s a bit soft. I got the wriggling feeling when going through the highspeed but bumpy section at the circuit. The standard tyres offered are Pirelli Angel GT. The brakes for the RS is ABS but it cant deactivate it, the only way is to take out the ABS fuse. The ABS offered is a single-channel system - that means only the front wheel gets ABS equipped braking. While I feel the ABS working in the circuit but I think regular riding situations wont be felt in a big way , it's more prominent in emergency or panic episodes. Under hard braking, the front did keep its line and the brake bite was sufficiently effective.

This is one of the point that We gonna kick-start the 2018 with 10 things we like about the Yamaha NVX 155. The NVX 155 also known in some countries as Aerox 155. It’s a second time we took the NVX for review. Never the less about its name, here a five things we like about NVX/Aerox. For a scooter in this category, NVX is the most sporty looking scooter, large front panel design with dual sleek LED head lamp, gives the NVX a sporty maxi scooter feel couple with a sleek handle bar cover. Seating position is comfortable but sporty, but we do prefer our foot on the rear passenger foot rest. The handling through fast corners, the NVX is really stable, no front wheel chattering nor rear tyre slide feel as in most of the scooter in the market. No disc at the rear? No problem, Yamaha designed the rear drum brakes for NVX cant be locked or skidded, even how hard you press the rear brakes. Front disc with ABS make the NVX slow down instead of skidding, even in emergency situation when you press the front brakes too hard or long.
attracts is the front full Digital display. Makes the NVX a premium feel. First scooter with keyless start in this category. Engine is smooth and very quiet, so if you’re the full throttle type like us, advisable to add a slip-on so can warn slower motorist that a fast scooter is approaching! Even with the standard tyre the NVX handle pretty well even on damp surface, the 14inch tyre give a more stable road holding compare to NMAX.
What will we do without customising the NVX, ample accessories shop especially KL and northern area stock up tons of accessories for NVX, even can change the back suspension to Monoshock, there is a Ohlins kit for NVX 8 reasons to buy NVX, superb for all city commuting, ample storage space for raincoat, open face helmet or small bag in the 7 litre under seat compartment Seating position is comfortable but sporty, but we do prefer our foot on the rear passenger foot rest. Now, it’s time to tackle the 2017 Ducati Scrambler Café Racer, based on the standard Scrambler Icon, the Café Racer has five important functional changes. The tires are Pirelli Diablo Rosso II rubber, rather than the Icon’s off-road capable tires. The rake is dropped 2.2 degrees to a seriously steep 21.8 degrees. The clip-ons put you in an aggressive riding position. The front brake master cylinder pump is a radial design for a more direct feel of the Brembo Monoblock M4.32 caliper. The seat is minimalist and easier to move around on.
Without any doubt, it is an agile motorcycle, though one that doesn’t offer unexpected surprises. It is as stable as you like in corners with easy turn-in, and the Scrambler Café Racer doesn’t have any of the headshake we’ve felt on small-displacement aircooled Ducati Monsters of the past. All the numbers and the ergonomics point toward a tricky bike to ride, yet the Café Racer’s handling is predictable and precise. Although the Kayaba suspension has no damping adjustments, it’s just fine from Japan, via Bologna. While, the damping and springing is fairly firm, the ride never gets harsh. Certainly, the suspension does jostle you around on rougher roads, so aim for
the smooth line when possible. Interestingly, early press info describes a “fully adjustable upside down fork” for the Café Racer, but the fork on the bike I rode had no adjustments that I could find
i-Moto
With the café styling, you also get some café discomfort. Unlike the Scrambler Icon, which you can ride all day long without much in the way of fatigue, the 2017 Ducati Scrambler Café Racer is not quite so comfortable. The seat is slippery and pushes you to the front, and the clip-ons have precious little rise fortunately the reach forward to the grips isn’t too far. The Ducati Café Racer is not nearly as uncomfortable as the BMW R nine T Racer, but it is true to its name, it’s for fast runs between closely
spaced cafés. The Ducati Scrambler Café Racer engine is the same sweet power plant found in the standard Scrambler. With the Termignoni silencers, you might expect some sort of power boost, but it’s not there. The air-/oil-cooled motor with two-valve heads puts out the same claimed 75 hp at 8250 rpm. It is an easy-to-use motor with a smooth, yet insistent, delivery that works just fine for friendly intercafé competition. With the café styling, you also get some café

i-Moto Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah this season will parting ways with long-time sponsor Petronas. Hafizh, whose six year relationship with the national petroleum company came to an end recently, said he is only focused on his future with his new team SIC Racing Team. "I am not with Petronas anymore but there is no looking back as far as I am concerned," said Hafizh, who spent the last four seasons racing with Petronas Raceline. "I am only focused on the future and I believe my new team will give me the best in terms of support such as my bike and crew. "I am really looking forward to racing with them next season and am excited about pre-season testing in Valencia (Feb) and Jerez (Mar). "I will take the opportunity (testing) to adapt to my new bike and also get used to working together with the other team members." The 23-year-old is hoping to impress in Moto2 next year as he looks to make the step up to the premier class in 2019. SIC have set him a target of finishing in the top-five in the Moto2 overall standings next season. Hafizh will create history if he does move up as no Malaysian has ever competed in MotoGP. Hafizh did well to achieve two podium finishes at Misano and Motegi this year to finish the season at 10th overall with 106 points. They were his first outright podium finishes in his Moto2 career. He had come in fourth as a wildcard at Sepang in 2012 but moved up to third after Aussie Anthony West’s results were voided for failing a drug test. Petronas, had initially expected to continue sponsoring Hafizh this season but made a unexpected decision recently. Petronas, however, have decided to concentrate on sponsoring the Petronas CubPrix and Petronas Sprinta Racing Moto3 team.

As unpredictable as the weather was in MAEPS, Selangor where the Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival was held, the Vios Challenge Super Sporting Race One yielded even more surprises as racers made the most of the wide and fast circuit design to maximize the performance of their race cars. The Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival, first draw of the day came from the Super Sporting category where Mark Darwin who made a great start from pole and moved over to defend his position. However, he had closed the door well into Tengku Djan and the pair contacted, sending Darwin into the outside wall and forcing him into retirement. The race had to be restarted sans Darwin and with Djan alone on the first row, made a clean run to pull ahead of the pack made up of William Ho, Mitchell Cheah and Ser Ming Hui. However, Djan’s bumper began to flail from the earlier collision and was pulled into the pits on lap 4 to remove the offending part, dropping him into eighth. William Ho then had to face a charging Mitchell Cheah who sniffed the opportunity to take the win and muscled his way past William on the next lap. The move broke Ho’s side skirt, forcing him to pit to remove the part. Ser Ming Hui took advantage of the melee to inherit the lead which he held to the chequered flag. Mitchell was handed a 15 second penalty for jumping the start thus promoting Syafiq Ali and Boy Wong to second and third respectively. The biggest excitement was for the final race of the day, the second Super Sporting Class race. Despite the delay due to torrential rain, the crowd remained to watch the race was not to be missed. The top six from the previous race were now lined up on the grid in reversed order. By token of his fifth position in Race 1, Djan once again found himself on the front row beside the young Mitchell Cheah who finished sixth. As the track remained sodden, the race began in earnest after the convoy followed the Toyota Camry safety car for the initial three laps. Tengku Djan was gunning hard but the young Mitchell of the Dream Chaser Team had none of it. He was a picture of calm despite Djan’s incessant attempts at passing. Lap 9 saw Djan tap the Dream Chaser Team’s car, sending Mitchell wide. Despite that, Mitchell managed to recover his Vios and did not lose his first spot. Djan continued to relentlessly pursue Mitchell but as the pair continued to tangle, William Ho slowly crept up on the duo from his lowly 7th position. William Ho found his opening and made a daring dive into the tight Turn 16 on lap 12 but Djan refused to yield. The pair traded paintwork up the hill and in the process, Djan suffered a puncture and had to pull out of the race. William himself suffered a slow puncture but not before he was slapped with a 15 second penalty for his move on Djan. Boy Wong who remained safe throughout the race took a well-deserved 2nd ahead while William managed to limp home into third despite the penalty and puncture. Ser Ming Fai finished fifth and the final place on the podium.

i-Moto The Himalayas are a mountain range in Asia, which the area is divided between the Western Himalayas and the Eastern Himalayas and two sovereign nations, Nepal and Bhutan separating the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. Himalayas means a place to live in snow The Himalayas also extend throughout the five countries of Pakistan, India, China, Bhutan and Nepal. It is the source of two major river systems of the world - the Indus River and the Ganga-Brahmaputra River. Approximately 750 million people live in watersheds of the Himalayas including Bangladesh and it is home to the highest mountains in the world, Mount Everest and Kangchenjung. The inhabitants of this region are mostly Indo-Aryan or Tibetan-Burmese descendants with the main Buddhist and Hindu religions. Wandering by road by riding motorbike to North India around the Himalayas to Leh, in Ladakh or around Himachal Pradesh, Zanskar, Sikkim and Darjeeling. From June to September in the summer is very suitable to go to New Delhi and continue the journey to north India , the weather here is not as hot as in New Delhi as it is located on the outskirts of the Himalayas and roads from Manali to Leh are only around Jun - Oct when the weather is hot and snowy, chapters if the beginning of the year is heavy snow, roads are not allowed to go unless by air.

following a quarry from New Delhi to Shimla. The passage to get out of New Delhi is very busy if you compare Kuala Lumpurey, the way to get out of New Delhi is more dazzling than the traffic jam at Kuala Lumpur City. Along the way in the hustle and bustle of New Delhi, we will always hear here and there the vehicle’s sound their horns, and the inhabitants are so patient with the traffic here. Only in India you will find horn from morning to night along the highway. Our trip from New Delhi to Shimla is approximately 358.4km. Due to the busy road with winding roads along the mountain we reached Sukh Sagar Regency, we reached Shimla approximately at 8.30pm. In Shimla we stayed 2 nights. Bandar Shimla is approximately 3000 meters from the sea view, and the entire city of Shimla is located all over the slopes of the Shimla area. Riding High Himalayas we started from Shimla to the final destination is Leh. Throughout the valley of Kinnaur many apples are planted here and

these apples are the sweetest planted in this area. Next destination is Kinner Kalash Mountans and its more than 2700 meters above sea level. We spent the night at Kinner Villa. I began to feel its cool air. On the way we stop to picture on a cliff that is recognized as Suicide Point. It is certainly an experience that wears your legs we look down its steep ravine. Looking at our journey sometimes through the mountain that there is stone ruins from the top of the mountain, it is also on the verge of the stone ruins from the top of the mountain, work recovered to the road are done by border organizations. We will spend the night in a 3 star hotel in Nako. Nako area approximately 3700 meters above the sea level. Overnight in the hotel with camp in the Himalayan colony, not like the kind that we bring our own tents. Sleeping in pairs at the Himalay colony is somewhat special where every tents is provided the same amenities as the hotel room as well as the water is provided in the tents with sink, paip water is very cool like ice water. If we need the hot water we get from hotel service.
The Ducati 959 Panigale is made to roar down the stretch. For experience riders this Panigale 959 can be the Trackday Addicts good choice as I know the fury the 959 can unleashed. Tucking in and watching the rev counter's digital bars count off the revs before a shift light prompts me to gently boot the quickshifter to select a higher gear and as I start hunting for the braking marker. I know the roads well and like immensely effortless goes in the corner and zooming out of it. With its light but firm pressure on the bars sends the 959 on its side. At just 176kg dry, the 959 feels light and, honestly, tiny underneath you. It is a slippery motorcycle though, and finding a secure place to lock your knees in when cornering takes work. But this is a stable, stable motorcycle that works rather well on its standard Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres.
The 959 slices through the part of Sg Dua to Ulu Yam like carving a sharp, accurate line before any corner I negotiate Another quick flick-flack and never-ending corner that leads Gotong Jaya is one of the best experience off the track and I guarantee anyone who want to start trackday riding can have a distinct advantage on or off track. Yes we didn’t take it to the Sepang Circuit we rode to Bukit Tinggi on a Sunday
Ride and enjoyed Its linear power, stable poised and friendly electronics all coming together in a package called Panigale 959, but this test ride has no trophies just photos to show that it’s an awesome bike on the road and beyond. The Panigale's bars feel a fair distance from you and the tank is extremely narrow. It makes for an intimate riding position where you feel connected and tucked neatly in to the motorcycle.
i-Moto While tucking in the corners as predictably in every corner, and I just have to get used to it even with this as I can be as aggressive and the electronics takes care of everything even with my riding style when I review a bike. The 959 is fast, agile, angry and super aggressive. In the middle of the corner, the traction feedback is clear but the power delivery is a lot linear on the 959, especially at smaller throttle openings. This makes stabilising the chassis a little easier on the 959. It takes a while before you notice the extra power of the 160hp 959 because it’s not noticeable but I know I’m riding fast, very fast but the friendly character of the 959 has almost no lumps or jumps in its power curve, and acceleration is predictable and progressive as the revs climb, which makes riding fast easier no matter what your skill level happens to be. The 959 I tested did have the spongy brake feeling with less bite although not everyone rides as hard as me while I reviewing any bikes, the Brembo brakes don't lacking power to stop. Let's talk about the electronics first. The 959 dates back a year or so, obvious in the electronics department Ducati has sorted out the quickshifter and its modes.
i-Moto The only thing 959 is just short of the full blown IMU-equipped traction-control system but has everything else that can be desired. It gets three riding modes and you can alter the default settings in each mode (except for engine power and throttle response) to set the motorcycle up to your liking. You get to select between three ABS and Engine Brake Control modes each and eight levels of traction control. The engine brake control, specifically, makes a huge difference. The system injects a small amount of fuel into the cylinders when you have the throttle closed to reduce the chassis pitch change that comes from compression braking. In the default setting - Sport mode, EBC 2, the dive is pronounced and the 959 feels a little too onoff. But raise the EBC to 3 - maximum intervention, minimum pitching, and the 959 feels vastly friendlier, a lot more like an inline-four with light compression braking. The disappointment is Ducati system isn't the easiest to use, it takes about 30-45 seconds to change modes or fiddling with the TC. While changing modes I have to close the throttle during the mode change. The other area and the really sticky one is design of the 959 which cant claim to be new but essentially can look like the large sibling 1199 and even can look like the 899 heavily on the Panigale stylebook and only in the exhaust which are Euro-IV compliant to most eyes, looks shatteringly ugly. But the Panigale design is not a very old one, and Ducati's trim quality is at a very best making the finishing quality much better that the 899. The 959 is vastly friendlier. You will feel connected to it while the power delivery allow new hands to exploit the performance and allowing older hands to have enormous fun ride the 959 ever harder.
i-Moto So should I buy? That Ducati? First is the 959 is actually faster as well as newer in design than the 899. Second is that aggressive feel. And that ticks me to find the 959 a little too subtle for me, but I guarantee it its super easy to handle on road or at the tracks. Just cant wear jeans while riding the 959, as it can boil you ass in 15 min of riding! Well it’s a red hot Ducati 959 Panigale! Another reason to pick the Ducati is not directly from the racetrack but the 959 has a higher handlebars which makes it easier to ride slower over longer distances. When I get the key to any Panigale I know I always smile when I have the key in my hands.

Osmo Mobile turns your smartphone in to a smart motion camera, making every moment you shoot look smooth, professional and ready to share. Shoot cinematic videos anytime, or use its intelligent functions to track your subject, capture stunning motion timelapses or even stream a moment live around the globe. The Osmo does away with a camera and allows you to use your phone’s camera to take stabilised videos, and it’s a lot cheaper, too. As the mobile phones cameras are getting better, we decide to get our self a Osmo Mobile as we got slight complaint that our videos are shaky. Like my Note 8 even have optical stabilisation, which gives much less jerky video when panning or walking. But still cant compare to mounting your phone in a three-axis gimbal such as the DJI Osmo Mobile. The osmo mobile weight (including bat tery but excluding the mobile phone) is 501g, and uses Zenmuse M1 gimbal. The Osmo’s gimbal is able to rotate in three axes and keep your phone pointing in exactly the same direction even while you walk around. It also eliminates shaky hands and once you’ve got the hang of using it can produce amazingly cinematic shots which people won’t believe were taken on a phone.
ActiveTrack technology built into the DJI GO app allows the Osmo Mobile to automatically keep your smartphone facing you as you move. You no longer have to choose between recording a moment or taking part in it Standard Mode Portrait Mode Underslung Mode Flashlight Mode
You can buy the Osmo Mobile from authorised DJI Store for around RM1250, that may sound expensive, but when you consider that the Osmo (which has its own 4K camera) costs over RM2000, it's a decent saving. Note that prices were increased in November 2016 due to changes in exchange rate.
DJI products are distributed by DSC World Sdn Bhd. For further information please call 03-6148 8122
